Asked for a breakdown of their labour quote but that was too much to ask apparently. After working in the motor trade in aftersales for 18 years I can honestly say that it's one of the most unprofessional dealings i have ever had with a garage. We will now find somewhere else to take the 3 vehicles in our household for work and maintenance going forwards.

A month later had expensive full cambelt and pulleys replacement (no expense spared, £500) Months later cambelt broke, they would only pay labour not parts, so cost me £1400 ! I feel their warranty is worthless and I had been well and truly shafted. Ebblake said the Cambelt had become contaminated ! RAC and independent engineer said there was no contamination whatsoever and documented it as such. They had my vehicle and had me over a barrel so I had to pay them to expedite matters. I kept the old parts and a month later they rang and asked me could they have my broken parts back ! Why ? You make up your own mind.

The owner Jim is a top bloke that will always do his best for you at a price you can afford. Straight up honest and truthful and doesn't try and blag you into any work that doesn't need doing (like some garages do). His team work on all types of motors even the more obscure American models such as Dodge, Chrysler etc. My only regret is I'm now posted to a separate base and I'll no doubt struggle to find an equally good garage to get my car fixed!

A fantastic service here…read more I discovered my car had alloy wheels when I got a flat tyre at some friends. They took it to Cribbs for me, so this meant I had to go to get the alloy and tyre. They were kind enough to take the tyre off my spare, put it on the alloy and put the spare back in. They then checked all my pressures. The bloke was really friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
