I had my truck towed to Ford brothers after it broke down in Durham. Matthew gave me call after diagnosing my truck and explained the issues and how to fix them, very prompt and answered all my questions. I have used before but on this occasion there were a few more surprises than usual, wheel bearings were my culprit. Need less to say the price changed slightly above budget. they worked with me to get my work truck back and keep me moving. Donna Kay and Jessie at the front desk are super friendly. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT!! Took my car in on Feb 21 2022 and told them the drivers side wheel had some play in it. The mechanic called back and gave me a list of work that he wanted to do including replacing the rack and pinion which was causing the front wheel looseness. I called him back and Told him to do the rack and pinion only because that's what I told him to check 1 week went by I called and asked if it was done I was told yes almost and they would call when I could pick it up.No call so I called back they said it wasn't ready yet.Another week went by so I called to speak to the Mechanic and he was not working that day and found out that he had only removed a few bolts and that was all that was done.I asked them to have the mechanic call me he called me from home and said that yes in fact he had just removed a few bolts that it was a really hard job he kept repeating that and he wasn't sure when it would be done he told me I could either leave it with him bring it back or come back and get a refund a full refund no charge. I told him I would pick it up I went t to pick it up on Friday March 4 2022 He the mechanic put the bolts back in I went to pick up the vehicle they gave me a refund -minus $60 for a diagnostic fee which I was never told about upfront and didn't request one I told him what the problem was and they wanted to do a total diagnostic on the vehicle which I never asked for also I had to pay for the part upfront I've never had to do that before that was a new one on me just a sloppy clumsy way to do business I felt like it was a slap in the face to charge me that when they kept my vehicle for two weeks going on three weeks with no work done.I was told I could bring the car back I'm not that gullible will never use these people again and I would not recommend these people to anyone for any kind of business transactions whatsoever it seems like the mechanics run the business instead of the owners ,they pick and choose what jobs they want to do without telling the customer not once did they call me except when I asked him to call me back not once.The mechanic kept telling me how hard his job was like he didn't want to do the job for the office and he didn't wanna do his work he told me that they had a lot of work they need to get through and skipped over my vehicle for some reason I guess because it was too hard for him very unprofessional communication nonexistent no concern for the customer and questionable business practices I feel like I was being held hostage because I had to pay for the part upfront and had to pay a diagnostic fee of $60 that I never asked for was told that's the way we do thing ALSO THEY SAID IF I PAYED IN CASH I WOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY TAXES ON THE FULL AMOUNT, SHADY PROPLE read more

These are my go-to guys for everything. They always look out for me for reasonable prices. They don't do unnecessary work and they make accurate diagnoses. As a woman, I sometimes find myself getting ripped off by mechanics, but these guys are not about that. They have done many of my oil changes and rear a wheel bearing that I can think of off hand ... I think they did my serpentine belt. They diagnosed a check engine light for me which no one else was able to do. The work has warranty on it. They always give me a ride to my office and pick me up at the end of the day. The driver is an elderly gentleman who is so polite and hilarious to ride with. Just be mindful that they can get pretty busy and this is a small shop, they don't have many mechanics and depending on how busy they are you want to make arrangements to leave your car there overnight, just talk to them. Its good to know there are a few mechanics out there who are genuine and interested in quality and happiness of customers. read more

These people are a joke and only after your money. I took my truck here to get the rear end rebuilt and not even 2000 miles later my truck is making lots of noises. Chuck told me he warrantied it for 10k miles and 3 months which I only had the truck back for a week and only put about 1300 miles on it. I took the truck back to them and chuck claimed I didn't break the rear end in correctly when they put 100 miles on my truck and they told me they broke in the rear end in for me. Anyways he wouldn't warranty my rear end. I drove my truck back home to louisiana and got stranded in Georgia (580 miles from home) with my pregnant girlfriend on the side of the highway and spent over $2000 getting back home after a U haul rental and a shipper to tow my truck home. These people are the most horrible mechanics I've ever heard of. I recommend you NEVER bring your vehicle there. read more

Car sit up at this place for over three days and no one had supposedly looked at it but it was moved. They have a guy up there, named Paul, who is the biggest butt I have ever came across and a major liar. Had three other car repair shops that actually knows the guy and said I wouldn't deal with him for free work. I called today, and Paul told me that he couldn't give me a time or a day that it could be looked at. Mind you it has been at there shops since 12:20pm on Monday, and this is Wednesday after 12. During my call today, I have never been talked to like this before by any repair shop or anyone thats suppossed to be professional. Paul told me that if I didn't like it you can come pick up your car and take it somewhere else. Say what? You have my ride for over three days and tell me that? I have been going there for well over 30 years. I will never go back and if you go there you have bumped your head. Integrity means a lot and this place has none. Going straight to the dogs now. read more
