I'm from out of town a desperately needed a cut and color- all reviews on here were super old but I saw the salon throughout the week and was always busy with clients, men and women. I finally made an appointment and received utmost care and attention. Sabrine sat with me to discuss color options and thoughts then her opinion for a trim/cut that would best frame my face. I decided to go for the moisturizing hair mask which was a very relaxing head massage in the mix too. I let her put her expertise to use and all I can say is Amazing!! She did an incredible job. I plan to transit through Frankfurt when possible to seek her out. Thank you for a job well done! I'm so happy with my new do!

He was able to lighten my very dark roots and achieve the blonde I've wanted for years! It did take 4.5 hours (but i do have a lot of hair) so plan your day accordingly perhaps. Even after getting into a chair, the hairstylist kept running off to do other errands - helping another stylist, answering both personal and business phone calls. Despite claiming to speak english she did not understand me well and misunderstood what I wanted, even though I showed her a photo multiple times she almost completely forgot to cut one side of my hair and still left it uneven. One hour after my haircut was supposed to start it was still barely cut and other customers started to arrive, then she began to grab and cut my hair roughly and quickly without much attention. During cleanup she blow dried hair clippings into my tea. Afterwards I was told I could only pay in cash and had to walk 10 minutes to a Geldautomat. For this price I would expect both quicker and more professional service. Two stars because the haircut looked fine in the end, but was a two hour job that could have taken 30 minutes for half the price.

Not many of the ladies speak very good English, but they are all so so sweet. The first time I went I took a German speaking friend with me to explain what I wanted. I went to Excellent Hair to get blonde highlights around my face. That's it. I explained that I wanted caramel blonde mostly around my face and, in case of any language barriers, I showed them pictures. PICTURES. Because I don't know how to dye hair professionally, I trusted them. I shouldn't have. When the foils came off, they had died my naturally warm brown hair a cold dark brown. (I am a warm/neutral, always have been) And the highlights were bleached-white blonde, a huge chunk above my forehead with tiny little strands throughout my hair. I looked like Cruella DeVille. What's worse is they didn't own up to a mistake but tried to tell me this was the color I needed for my skin tone. Graveyard brown and white? Seriously?! I was so excited to get some blonde in my hair to make feel younger and happier. Instead, I came out sad and looking 10 years older. Ich sah aus wie Cruella DeVille. Was noch schlimmer ist, sie haben keinen Fehler zugegeben, sondern versucht, mir zu sagen, dass dies die Farbe sei, die ich für meinen Hautton brauche. Friedhofsbraun und Weiß? Ernsthaft?! Ich war so aufgeregt, mir etwas Blond ins Haar zu färben, um mich jünger und glücklicher zu fühlen. Stattdessen war ich danach traurig und sah 10 Jahre älter aus. Without a hard sell she suggested a neutralizer (€20) for my color and an olaplex, which I had no time for. While at the sink soaking in the product, she offered to apply a make up tint and gloss. I later decided to purchase it from the feel and look. When I went to check out they didn't accept Amex and I had only €20 on me. So they told me not to worry and took only my €20 while I told them that I'd leave the balance at the hotel. (It was a holiday so 3 days went by they were closed). On my last day I decided to take the money over myself and they accepted it gladly almost as if they had written it off as loss. They were very grateful and surprised I'd brought it to them. I asked if they had anyone available for a blow out and the manager fit me in kindly. She herself washed my hair and Sasha squeezed me in juggling a client as her curlers set. The salon next door was also great but I just felt more pampered here.

The staff is nice enough -- like what you would normally expect at a hair salon -- but I THINK they are way too set on what they think is the best haircut or color... I paid almost 500 euros and walked out looking exactly the same. When I came back to tell them, they basically told me it did not look the intender way because of two hair masks. So I bought them (around 85 euros together), and... no difference when i went home. I ended up going back to Copenhagen to have someone else look at my hair, because there was literally no change at all... Not much else to say except i personally dont think its Worth all this money for a color. The haircut was good enough, but that's really it. i usually dont write these reviews but i think its important to be honest.
