Appointments are easy to get and the wait times in the office are reasonable. All of the staff are customer/patient oriented. This includes the front desk, the assistants, and doctors. The waiting room is open with ample seating. The examination rooms are appropriately sized, neat, and clean. They also have facilities for x-rays and orthotic measurements. I went to Dr Milner and he immediately understood the urgency of getting the broken hardware removed and correcting the Hallux Valgus. He scheduled an early date for surgery. What's wrong with this picture? 9/13 Update: received call from Bonnie, office manager at the foot center yesterday to talk about my BBB complaint. I Explained to her that the average price across the board for removal of ingrown toenail in NC is $150 not $950. She said she would speak with Cone Health and see if they could "work with me" and have them call me. 45 minutes later I received a phone call from Amy at Cone Health.. I had to explain once again the outrageous bill I received. Was told they would get back in contact with Triad foot center and they would get back to me. As soon as I hung up the phone, I looked down at the number and it was the same number from the call I received from Triad Foot and Ankle. ??? Hmm.

Because of Covid precautions he couldn't do much with her toenails. My only complaint is about seating. I am a large person with wider hips and there were no chairs anywhere that would fit me. All were narrowing with arms on them. There were no spare armless stools or armless chairs for someone with wide girth like myself. So this was very uncomfortable for me accompanying my elderly mother. My 94 yr old mother had to struggle to get up into the exam chair...almost too hard for her. The struggle left her very fatigued. Suggestion: bring in a few extra-wide chairs for heavier people; and, step stools for short people trying to get in and out of exam chairs.

She was helpful, provided me new patient papers to prepare before I returned for my appointment and made sure my insurance would be accepted. Upon arrival for my appointment I was promptly and politely met by Kinsey again - who remembered me from 5 short days prior making the appointment in person. She quickly set me up and got me into the appointment room where Paige met me and provided some basic triage. Dr. Woelffer came in with a level of energy I have never experienced from a doctor, and I couldn't be more refreshed. He listened, was sympathetic and non-judgement, and genuinely seemed to care about my problem and in me in general. He quickly diagnosed, we avoided expensive and unnecessary tests, and provided some solutions to the issue. Paige and another nurse returned with some over the counter solutions, and spent time fitting me properly and teaching me how to use! They answered all my questions, took the time, and didn't make me feel silly for asking. I am thrilled so far with the outcome, and will continue following doctors orders and returning in a few short weeks for a follow up. Thanks team. I highly recommend this practice.

All covered by my private insurance. Fast forward three years, I begin to experience some discomfort in the same foot, so I booked an appointment to return. The waiting room was completely empty when I arrived. I was led to the back of a huge office (past several staff members sitting at computers) and saw no other patients or doctors. Dr. Woeffler came in briefly before abruptly leaving and sending in an assistant to set me up with replacement orthotics. The assistant walks in with a tablet and asks me if my insurance will cover orthotics. Surprised, I said I believe so... they did the last time. She proceeded to say that because my employer had changed plans, I would need to recheck. And by "I", she clarified that they would not contact my insurance company this time around. She said that they didn't have the personnel to do it and proceeded to tell me that I could go sit in their lobby and call my insurance company. (???) Translation = Since they wouldn't be billing my insurance company up the (bleep) for all the bells and whistles this visit, they couldn't care less. Needless to say, I quickly left and will not return.

Once I got in the exam room I answered questions and probably waited 20+ minutes for the Dr to come in. He asked the same questions the first person did. I don't understand why patients have to answer the same questions twice. It's a waste of a patient's time. I'd already sat there for quite a while to be called back. He never got close to my feet. He acted like I had a disease. That was offensive to me. He was constantly rushing my appointment. I left there wasting my money and getting no help for my problem, just pushing it off on other type Dr's. It's not comforting at all when all a Dr does is tell you they can't help you and want to try meds you've tried before and caused you problems.

I noticed that they had a…read morenegative review, but I called on a Friday morning around 10:30 hoping to get an appointment for my 12 year old daughter knowing that they closed at noon. We got there around 11am, the front office staff was very pleasant, once we completed the necessary paperwork, we were shown to the exam room where we waited for the Dr. to come in. Dr. Blackwell was very nice, he examined my daughters foot, he explained the procedure that she would need. He talked her through the entire procedure (toenail removal), engaged her in small talk and made us both feel comfortable. He answered all of our questions and we never felt rushed even though it was close to time for them close the office. I would recommend Instride Wilson Podiatry to anyone.
