In a freak accident, the groom's phone slips out of his hand and it flies into the water. The restaurant told us the phone was unretrievable. And we couldn't find a net. My sister and I immediately had the idea to jump in but the dock was so high, we couldn't figure out how to get back up once my sister jumps down. Luckily Captain Mike was passing by and we waved him down, he drove up and we explained our problem. He not only let us borrow his strong flashlight so we could see the lost phone, but he even offered for my sister to get on his boat and back up from the dock from there. The boat was very crowded with not enough seats for everyone and people were falling all over the place. The water was very choppy and not a good time for beginner snorkelers to be out there. I ended up with a big bruise on my calf from trying to climb the ladder out of the water with flippers on. They should have warned us about that, to take them off first.
