My appointment was to determine why I was experiencing a rough surface on my upper right tooth. Dr. Purdy immediately determined one of my crowns needed to be replaced. Two days later I had the complete process completed in one appointment. Dr. Purdy and his clinical assistant were very conscientious in performing the dental procedure and built a rock-solid crown that needed no adjustments in the time immediately after the appointment. Dr. Purdy was serious about his work while still interjecting some humor since I am a person who while placing high value on the quality of my dental care still enjoys making any experience enjoyable. I highly recommend Dr. Purdy to new patients and I still highly recommend Dr. Icely as a valued dental care provider. In addition, all other dental professionals in the office are top-notch in their work with patients. Catalina Foothills Family Dental uses advanced dental technology in their office allowing on-site construction of dental crowns (normally a patient might have to wait 10 days for sending the work request to a dental lab) but thanks to CFFD's innovative practice, I reaped the benefits.

I'm typically seen within a few minutes of arrival. I'm very happy with the service I've had there.

I needed a second opinion on a cracked tooth, I was scheduled within a week and when I walked into the office they not only saw me but fixed the cracked tooth the same day! I was expecting to have to come back for the procedure as this is a VERY busy office. The staff was extremely kind!! The cost of the estimate was well within what I had thought especially being out of network. Would highly recommend. Had a filling fall out of my mouth after an aggressive flossing instance. I called 2 dental offices and this one responded first on a Monday. The appointment was made, intake links were sent. When I walked in they knew who I was since I had to upload a picture of myself (very smart way to make a great first impression!). Friendly staff, pro assistant and doctor (I saw Dr. Chin). Very informative and communicative during the appointment. Pristine office. Modern equipment. Took care of my follow-up appointments. The only thing that can be a turn off for some, and I don't know if this is just the way dentist offices are nowadays, but all the patient rooms near me didn't have doors or I didn't notice them. Maybe they do where there is more invasive work being done but in my immediate area I was hearing conversations about extractions and surgery and whatnot. I mean it made me want to brush 10xs a day but that is what that part of the office was like. I hadn't been to a dentist in a loooooooong time. Is it weird that I can't wait for my deep cleanings and minor filling work? That, Yelp people, is the absolute sign of an amazing dentist team! Who AM I???

And it was for an extraction procedure. Well, I'm writing this about 2 weeks after that procedure. I was happy walking out of the office the day of the procedure, and I'm even happier now with a completely smooth recovery. First of all, the office staff are absolutely OUTSTANDING. I don't know how you could possibly get better customer service. And the waiting area is a very pleasant environment, there's bottled water, and it's very comfortable. Every aspect of interacting with the support staff was excellent - scheduling, reminders, billing, you name it. All done pleasantly and efficiently. Then there was the extraction itself. Not that I'm running any dental procedure races here, but my goodness, I'm pretty sure my procedure - an extraction with a bone graft - was done in under half an hour! Amazing! Dr. Ham explained what he was planning to do, executed on it, I had NO pain whatsoever during the procedure, and get THIS - while yes, they highly encouraged me to take a pain killer the minute I got home, I really didn't feel the need to do so and I have not once taken ANY pain medication AFTER the procedure. Didn't need to, no pain! Sure I may have had some bleeding - expected - the day of the procedure, and had to put some gauze in the vacated spot where the tooth had been, but after that, no more bleeding the next day, and on the road to a smooth recovery. I don't know how I could be any happier with a dental practice. I mean, I bet nobody LIKES going to the dentist, but if you do have to go, this is an excellent place to get your dental work done.
