EXCEEDED my expectations. I am particular, very detail oriented and when it comes to my cars,…read moreespecially my prized Landcruiser, I went through a long list of shops before giving the work to Dustin and Team. I toured the shop, saw the high end cars that he was working on, he showed me his paint analyzer, talked with pride about the years of experience his painter had....and it was obvious that he appreciated my truck, my desires and my expectations. My appointment date was made and kept and several days in, Dustin sent me photos of the progress. He did not have to do that, but it says a lot about his interest in keeping a schedule and keeping the customer happy and informed. He also painted back ground areas (behind the grill) that were not part of the repair.... because he said it was the right thing to do. The final outcome was like new ...he and his painter color matched a 25 year old paint job. As hard as I tried, looking from different angles and in different light conditions, I cannot see the line between new and old. Last, he was able to save a few $. ...and unlike most that exceed the estimate and ask for more money, he refunded me the difference. So in the end, it's more than just the outstanding quality and workmanship, but about the person you are dealing with. It's about honesty, fairness and integrity. I absolutely trust Dustin and will absolutely return to Carbon City Body Shop if I have further need.... and have Zero Reservations about recommending friends and family to trust that they will Exceed Expectations. Very Happy Customer!

I went to get an estimate for the replacement as a walk in. ( I'm so sorry I do not remember his name but the young fellow had just bought the shop from Doug who had just retired .) He immediately looked at what I needed and said he would do it NO CHARGE because he wanted to establish an honest and transparant business and also relied on references. WELL.. I am one.

Was a sun roof problem and directed them to look there. When we went to pick up the car Ronnie was in hospital. His son delivered the car to me. What we got was now a wet sunroof headliner that was already sagging. When I pointed it out to him, his response was "We are not in the sunroof business." When I reminded him how much they were paid to fix the problem, his response was: "I wouldn't have paid that much for this car" and he walked away. I swear I am not making this up. I wrote a letter to Ronnie and never heard back. I took the car to another body shop and they pointed out some other problems. Seems the detailer used too powerful vacum to try to pull moisture from the door panels and now the fabric in the door panels is sagging. Headliner job wasn't that great either. All in all, I spent a lot of money and only one of serveral problems was corrected right. I value good service and will write wonderful reviews when I receive it. and when I experience this kind of poor service others should know too. Ronnie works hard. His son will ruin the business if he takes over. I suspect Ronnie was never given my letter--he is the kind that would have called me back.
