Management is so helpful. Apartment was fully upgraded. Laundry room has an app where you can see if the machines are being used and will send reminders when your laundry is done. An Amazon hub, covered parking... it's located by restaurants, a discount store, target, and so many eateries. It's not gated but we haven't seen any issues at all and we're right off the street. It's quiet, neighbors are friendly. The pool is sparkling, the hot tub is super warm, and we have a large yard (downstairs) for our dog to run around in. Any issues with the apt are addressed within 24 hrs by an awesome maintenance team, especially Ray he is the best. We love it here and are grateful we found this place. It's been amazing. read more

Here are two more instances illustrating the inadequacies of our management team. First, a lifted truck was double parked and blocked a handicap spot for most of the day. When I informed the manager, I was told to mind my own business. Second, our mailbox was broken into for the second time in a year, despite our repeated requests for security measures such as cameras, a security guard, or a fence, which they promised but have yet to implement. I have lived here for 6 months, and during this time I have needed some help with a few minor things like window not sliding good, and my front needed adjustment. I have called maintenance worker , Supervisor Ray H.. and let you tell you he truly cares about the residents and any issues or concerns. He's always smiling and will go above and beyond to help you. He's extremely nice and very knowledgeable about the property. So remember, if you ever need any help contact Ray , he will get the job done and you don't have to wait for a report. Great job as always. Thank you so much. Also I'd like to say that the property Manager Rodger is a very nice guy, he will go out of his way to help with any issues you have. I've lived here since 2018. I've seen a lot of turnover with management but I must say, Robert and his team have made a lot of improvements to the property in a short time. Before, the trash areas were always overfilled and trash on the ground from the homeless going through them. Now they are consistently clean. I haven't heard of any car break-ins in a while and I believe they are planning to put gates up around the property which is something every resident has been wanting, for years, so hopefully they read this and will be following through with that. Robert and the staff go above and beyond to celebrate the holidays as well which is a nice touch. The maintenance crew are friendly and prompt which, again, is appreciated. Oh also Robert got the pet rent cut in half which was a needed surprise! Overall pretty happy with the management and the changes they've made. read more

I stopped by Foothill Village Apartments for a showing today, and prior to my visit, I had spoken with Nimsi and Robert over the phone. Both were very helpful. During my visit, Nimsi assisted me with the tour of the apartment I was interested in, and she was not only polite but also thorough in answering all of my questions. When searching for an apartment, it's not always easy to find excellent customer service, so I truly appreciate the kindness and assistance I received. read more

Couldn't not wait to move out! My car was stolen 2 times from my carport and broken in too 3 times. The upper management failed to do anything to help. At one point even a signed petition went around from another resident to get some security. No one is ever In the office to help you. And they go through management like water. I recently had the pleasure of receiving outstanding maintenance service from Ray at Foothill Village Apartments. I wanted to take a moment to share my positive experience. I called the office early in the morning in regards to a heating problem and Ray responded shortly after I submitted my maintenance request. I cannot express how impressed I am with his professionalism and dedication to his work. He responded properly and efficiently his expertise and attention to details were evident through the entire process. He checked three major areas of where the problem could exist, then finally he found name it and fixed it. He took the time to thoroughly look into the issue and resolve the problem that it created and it was all done simultaneously. When I moved into the facility almost 2 years ago, I thought that it was going to be a great experience. It started off as that, but then I heard of numerous complaints of car break ins, and eventually had it happen to myself. Someone drilled a hole in the bottom of my gas tank and let the gas run all over the complex. Another evening a few months after, my car window was broken into. Then came to find out my neighbor across the hall had their car stolen twice, and the unit to my right had their car broken into twice. All the while, management lets us know that they are searching for approvals for security or cameras to be installed. I have emailed management and their corporate daily for a month straight regarding the break ins and nothing has been done and I have gotten no response from any of their management. If this much vandalism has began in the 2 years that I have been here, I can only imagine what else began before our lease. My neighbor pulled all the violation logs from Pomona Police and provided it to management and still, nothing was addressed or changed. I would not recommend living here, the units are cheap and great square footage, but is it worth your safety? Probably not. read more

I've been a resident at Foothill Village for a little over a decade and have seen quite a few changes during my tenure. But truly nothing to complain about. Experienced About four management turnovers during my time here and all have been attentive, timely, and considerate. I have been residing at Foothill Village Apartments for about a year and have had a great experience. They made move in very easy and everything that was expected of us was explained thoroughly. In my year of residing at Foothill Village, I've noticed the property managers and all staff at the complex to be very professional and polite. We're living here during COVID 19 which is a scary time. However, I feel that management is doing their part to keep the community safe and clean. All of our maintenance requests have been addressed in a timely manner. At our previous apartment complex, it seemed that every time a maintenance request was made they found something to complain about us. However, here it is much more pleasant to work with the staff. I toured this facility. Really liked it. I submitted the application and the $200 deposit they required. I was in constant communication with the team by phone and/or email. On my third day and only when I was told by the property manager that I could not have my 3 dogs (all small and under 10 lbs.) because they only allowed 2 even though I shared it would only be temporary given my situation, they said no so I had to say no to the apartment. I was told because I declined they would be forfeiting my $200 deposit. Who does that? I was told because they saved the unit and didn't show it to anyone else. I understand that but again I was in constant communication, I was trying to figure out my pet situation which I let them know of. And they still kept my money? Where's the integrity of folks these days. Doesn't seem legal. Where's the compassion? I'm glad I'm not moving forward with this place. Seems this isn't the first time they've done this either. Isn't inflation bad enough. People are out here still trying to screw people. Disgusting! read more

Foothill Village Apartments honestly has been the best fit for my family of 3! We had to move in such a short amount of time and with Johnny's help he made it happen. Johnny was heaven sent considering everything happening due to COVID. He made sure to put safety first and as well as our need to find our new home. My family decided on renting from Foothill Village, we were assured the unit we wanted would be ready on the date agreed, but upon signing the contract and inspecting the unit, it was apparent the unit was only cosmetically ready. 1. The unit had and still has electrical issues, potential fire hazard. 2. We were promised smoke/carbon monoxide detectors that were compliant and suitable for the deaf, but that has not taken place. 3. Amaureen, while nice prior to signing, she suggested we terminate our lease since we were unhappy with the unit, rather than fixing the issues. 4. We were promised landscaping ground cover, but that only happened months after moving in and done without giving notice, after the rainy season, when covering the mud would have been beneficial. 5. Kitchen plumbing was improperly installed, second sink drain sloped the wrong way, no gaskets on any of the joints and the wrong parts were used. This took multiple attempts to fix causing huge inconvenience, finally they replaced all pipes and joints under the sink, but that was after numerous leaks, soiling items stored under sink. 6. Refrigerator door opened the wrong way, took weeks to have it flipped over, then it was done wrong, causing the refrigerator to not seal. I witnessed the maintenance person put the spacer into his pocket, ultimately leading to replacing the refrigerator. 7. Under the sink in the bathroom vanity the wood was completely rotten, this took approximately two months to address, although it was brought to management attention upon moving in. 8. Anytime cooking is being done, unless the hood fan is on the smoke detector sounds. We usually have the windows, sliding door open, and ceiling fan on, but oftentimes it is ineffective in preventing the alarm from s There are many other issues with this unit, but now I will move on to the property. 9. Routinely there is garbage on the grounds and it is not cleaned up unless management is told. 10. There was a garbage can near the mailboxes, but because it was always overflowing, management removed it. 11. Pool was advertised as heated, but all winter the heater was not working, although we were assured they were working on it. 12. Hot tub jets didn't work for months 13. On several occasions water has been shut off. Excessively in my opinion. 14. As another tenant noted the storage, in the carports were removed. 15. Dog poop is routinely left by other tenants and on several occasions the poop bag stations are out of bags. Amaureen says, " they are there as a courtesy, responsible pet owners should provide their own." 16. There is no longer courtesy patrol/ night security as advertised. 17. Management lacks experience and professionalism. 18. Rent increase with renewal 19. Lately the community rules are not administered equitably, no cars are supposed to be backed in per community rules, parties at the pool occur routinely, I have witnessed tenants addressed about having music playing at the pool while others they don't say anything to. The Manager Johnny was really nice, until I contacted his supervisor, entire management lacks the follow through required to effectively run a multi unit complex. read more

I've lived these apartments for over a year and I have nothing but good things to say about the management here. I've enjoyed my time living in these apartments. When I've ever needed anything fixed it tended to, they are on it ASAP! The grounds are immaculate and I feel extremely safe here. My kids say they feel like they are at a resort. Way too many sex offenders and homeless in the area. The 1st time I moved in was great, a little cramped but still livable. But later on we hear rumors about homeless breaking into cars and homes late at night and there's only 1 security (hard to tell if they are doing their job). I got into a hit/run RIGHT in front of my apartment. Luckily the neighbor saw everything and called the police but still couldn't do anything because we didn't catch the license number and the car wasn't from around here. My neighbor guessed that car wanted to cut the traffic light and came around our area to speed. Be warned: This is what happens when you live in an area that isn't gated. read more

Management here says they called the police and tried to notify us which is a lie. There's no security to patrol (it's an unsecured complex) and no security cameras at all. Update: I absolutely LOVED living here until it was time to move out :( I was told my damages and everything would total about $200 upon move out, during my walk-through. I was then billed about $1000 when I received the actual bill. At this point, there was nothing I could do about it. I can't call it bait and switch necessarily but that's sure what it feels like! I was super disappointed to have this happen after leaving a great review. I loved that apartment and everything about it. However, the move out process is now the only thing I will remember. I'm not saying you shouldn't move in here but I AM saying be mindful of how they conduct themselves when you move out! read more

Hawai'i born and raised. Maybe my perspective is different but this is what I think. Horrible, unprofessional, and unethical business practices utilized. We were cheated and lied out of thousands of dollars. We simply followed the rules of the complex and did everything the right way but management did not communicate effectively or efficiently. We attempted to live there and were robbed multiple times. Very unfortunate situation. Truly wish no one has to go through what we had to go through living here at Foothill Village Apartments. We went to court with this organization and they could have cared less about us as customers or people. We spent hundreds of dollars to take this organization to court because management lied, deceived, and treated unethically according to legal, appropriate, and respectful business practices. Between living in Pomona, which has a negative reputation for a reason, and Foothill Village Apartments as an organization and as a home to trust for your security, safety, and family I would recommend against this complex. Low Value Apartment Complex. Higher quality and value in relatively close proximity related to living options. If living in Pomona I would recommend a gated community if going the apartment route. read more

The quoted about 200 for move out expenses to be taken out of my deposit, a few weeks later I received a due bill for damages?? When I asked for what they were I never got a call back nor pictures of the alleged damages, just another reminder bill...I'm a property owner and the lack of communication was completely unacceptable. read more

We lived here for 2 years in 6/2015- 6/2017 and again from 8/2019- present. The new management is great and very attentive! The facilities are always clean and tidy and work orders get resolved quickly even during COVID. The security system is good- and we feel very safe living here and parking our cars in the lot. The apartments have been renovated and are very clean and stylish. A great place to live at a great price relative to other places in the area. read more

My husband and I recently moved in this year and we really love it here. Our apartment is so spacious, clean no issues with bugs, ants, etc. We have a 1 bedroom with the vinyl flooring and neutral color walls. Also they allowed us to have our German Shepherd, it's very rare for apartments to allow this breed but here at Foothill Village they do not have breed restrictions. The times we have requested for a repair they have been very on top of it. I've worked with Lillian and Amor and they have both been wonderful! They also have a great sense of community here, always planning fun events for their residents. So far we have had a wonderful experience living here. read more

The roof leaks every year and every year they say we fixed it. Dog poop everywhere liquor bottles and trash everywhere. Very scary stuff at night in the parking lot not safe at all to live here. Was injured by one of their employees neglect And Management refuses answer my phone calls or emails. Tired of the homeless sleeping in the parking lots at night And digging through the trash. Do NOT even think about residing here... Complex is owned by a management company. Stacey the manager at site is nice... everything else is CRAZY.. They tow your car away if "tags" are not up to date on your lic plate. My tags were ripped off my plate by someone..car was towed away when I was on vacation. Had to pay storage on my car. In afternoons during summer, teenagers from other areas that do not live in complex, go crazy wild yelling and screaming jumping fence and using pool for hours. My ceiling fell down from heavy rain. Was uninhabitable and promised a furnished apt. Never got the furnished apt. Then told stay at Hotel or Motel till we fix it. took from Dec 23rd till January 7th to fix...Then they did NOT pay for all my Living expenses. And I stayed at MOTEL 6 in San Dimas for the Christmas and New Years Holiday... Then.. you DON'T get your security DEPOSIT money back when u leave..What a joke. U always get the run around. Check them out on RIP OFF REPORT... Also BBB... And Apartment reviews. Tons of NEGATIVE items. They are the most DISHONEST, unreputable apartments in La verne/Pomona/San Dimas area. A metal grateing was missing on driveway..my cars front right tire and wheel smashed into it.. They did not want to pay me for damages. I could not see huge square hole in ground at 6 am in darkness. I did not intentionally drive into the hole in their driveway!!! I cant even explain how bad the dog barking is..Its like you live in a DOG KENNEL. Its bad enuff with all the yelling and door slamming all morning with low income residents leaving for work, school. read more

I had a really bad experience with the staff at this apartment complex, and I would like to share this with everyone who will be planning to live at this place. A middle aged woman named "Amor" who is the assistant manager at this place, is the most horrible person I have ever met in my life, sorry, just being honest and telling the truth. She is so rude and gives an attitude every time you ask for help, so disrespectful to the tenants. Such a fake person. Place is a facade. I don't recommend choosing this place to live or else you will have to deal with this type of person every time you have an issue there. Don't consider living here. Look elsewhere. This place was great while we lived there, however once we moved out we had our pre-moveout inspection that said we would have to pay about 245 out of our deposit for paint touch-up and cleaning, and a carpet clean. upon moving out we only received a small amount of our 1700 deposit back, charging us to replace the whole carpet and no receipt showing that the replaced the carpet which is against the law. and a bunch of other charges that were not mentioned before. I have called the apartment complex over 20 times since I moved out to try and talk to them, however they never answer the phone and have not once called me back. so unless you plan to live there forever or don't mind getting screwed when you move out.
