The Principal, Director , teachers, and staff are amazing. This school has surpassed our expectations. They use the Abeka curriculum which is a Christian curriculum. Thank you VCCS

Not only is she given tasks and crafts that cater to her personal level, the entire school knows her name. All of the kids are supportive of each other and big buddies (upper class) are assigned to each student in her class. Myah absolutely loves her big buddy and each week they have an opportunity to connect. The Abeka learning curriculum has blessed her over the year and she has begun to read! ( https://www.abeka.com/ ) Myah's K-4/K class just finished their oral presentations on animals they were assigned to and and they all did great! It was so awesome to see kindergarteners gaining the confidence to speak in front of their class. As parents we are given so many opportunities to be involved! We are getting to know the families rooted here and we love that. Dr. And Mrs. Geue are amazing individuals, accessible to our every whim of need, and love each student. The level of how our family has been encompassed is beyond 5 stars and we are so blessed to be here.

Sadly the area he aimed for on our player was a very sensative one too! SHAME on you coach to condone this type of playing.

Saint Bonaventure high is a small school comprised of a student body of maybe 500 or less students…read more Its a school that prides itself with a huge amount of school spirit amongst the students, faculty and parents. The class sizes range from 20 students per class or less. Communication about your child's grades, attendance, behavior is thru s online site called teacher ease. Faculty is quick to respond to any and all emails about your child or the school. Bonnie does not have a band or a cafeteria. Its a small school with its usual student clicks but academically good for a blooming student. Sports programs hear are the best whether its Volleyball or football the coaches teach good sportsmanship, camaraderie on and off the field. There is a certain sisterhood and or brotherhood amongst the sports teams here at Bonnie. If you have seen the TV series FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS then you'll know what I mean. Consider Bonnie for your child if you are looking for a private school because of its fantastic sports programs, its concern for each student academically and the willingness to keep parents involved. Tuition is pretty steep but you can request financial aid assistance to help. Just to note every year at the start of school $400 registration is due for each student. Books are sold during student book sales day where all students sell their old textbooks to the other students or underclassmen for real cheap! Great way to save on books and have cash to spend on uniforms. Parent involvement is encouraged yet demanded, single parent families must submit 12 volunteer hours and dual parent households 25 hours per year. You can volunteer to work snack bar during sports games, donate food for hours, help set up or clean up during events like parent night or green n gold day or during fiesta.

Personally, if you're a parent who thinks it's the schools job to raise your kid, then this isn't…read morethe place for your child . Maybe try a military academy? If you are looking for a school that stimulates the kids to think, to be creative, to bond, to expand their minds, and to reach further than they thought possible.... this is a great school. Be forewarned ... as a parent , you have to participate !! Yes, you have to ask questions, of everyone involved. Yes that means the kids, the counselors, the staff, the teachers , the administrators ( oh no.. really?!?) But being an advocate for your kid , here or at any school is being a great parent . And Balboa has fabulous teachers . They took my shy, very bright , socially anxious kid and helped him realize that he was an honor roll student with talent, passion and the ability to succeed. Be a parent, and the teachers will teach . And your kid will thrive here!!

this is one of the worst schools that I have ever experienced. They are very racist and biased and…read morevery sexist. They have a very strict dress code that they claim they use because it distracts the teachers and students that's kind of disgusting if you ask me considering the fact that we are in middle school and that shouldn't even be an issue in the first place. Their board members will do anything to go out of their way to make your kid feel like shit. They make kids cry left and right and tell them that they love them, but do multiple things to take them down and make sure it's the worst middle school years for them. They'll take a situation that is really not big at all and escalated by 10 just by taking it up to the office, they get people in trouble for no reason and DEFINITELY have their favorites. They also DEFINITELY have their least favorites too. All the teachers are very rude, but not as rude as the people up in the office. They don't want you to promote. They don't want you to be successful. They want you to suffer and that's exactly what they do to everyone the teachers go around talking smack about other students which is very immature to me because isn't this a middle school where the kids are supposed to be talking about each other? Not the adults be talking about the kids. They also have a very "No smoke" policy but when it comes to their favorites, the policy doesn't apply to them. not to mention, the school is very nasty. The bathrooms always smell not even smell they reek the locker rooms are always disgusting and there's always trash all around the school. One of the biggest things that is bad about this school is the fact of how unsafe it is they make things online saying that this is the happiest school ever. This is hell there's fights like every week. They have to have officers there and it is not safe at all. Do not let your kid go to the school. If you are thinking about it, they will make it seem like it's all good that they'll call you every single time that your kid does something wrong but that's not true. They'll call you every single time. Your kid makes a mistake and also they try to make it seem like you're allowed to make mistakes but the second that you make one it's a big problem to them.
