The Laundry Room was one of the closer laundromats to downtown, and a short Uber ride from our hotel. It was relatively clean and not crowded, however, it did not sell any detergent or laundry products. There was a convenience store across the street that sold everything we needed but in much larger quantities than necessary. Also, the machines do not take credit cards, but there are working coin machines - bring cash. The only troubling issue was that one of the large machines tore three clothing items that got caught in the holes of the inner drum.

A mix of machines ($4 or $6) appear newer and clean and do a great job. Dryers offer multiple heat settings at .25 cents for 6 minutes. The dryers are efficient too--under 30-min if you don't overload the machine--and stop when clothes are dry. Although broad, the one-path access can cause the flow to get jammed up, but people tend to be very kind in Napa, so it's not usually an issue. They also offer a wash-and-fold laundry service for those who can't DIY. The last wash is at 7 pm. We are fortunate to have this facility in the hood.

While one can do laundry late into the night at one's personal apartment complex, I wouldn't recommend dropping by here after dark (even if it is open) Too creepy. It can cost a lot, and sometimes they run out of detergent, stain remover, dryer sheets, so bring your own. It's a safer bet. Some laundromats are trying to clean up&improve their image. Sometimes they have TVs&magazines for entertainment. This one could use some help as the stores around it upgrade.
