You can tell he takes pride in what he does and goes above and beyond for his customers. The whole loaner process could have easily been stressful, but Roger made everything feel so easy and smooth. He took the time to explain everything, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. That level of care is rare, and it really meant a lot to me. I've had my auto loan here since 2023 and making regular payments has been fine, but if you plan to pay off your loan early, be cautious. Almost every time I've tried to make principal only payments, they haven't been applied correctly. Online payments were misapplied, phone payments were misapplied, and even when I was previously told to set up autopay through another bank and note "principal only," those payments weren't handled correctly either. Because of this, I've had to constantly monitor my account and call in for corrections, which becomes frustrating. If you're just making standard monthly payments, you may not have an issue, but anyone hoping to pay ahead should know what they're getting into. read more

Very Disappointed with My Loan Experience at Foothill Credit Union. On August 25th, I chose Foothill Credit Union because you were one of the few local credit unions offering higher personal loan amounts for consolidation. My fiancée and I applied together online. The very same day our credit was pulled, yet not once did a loan officer reach out with even a simple courtesy message such as: "Thank you for applying, we'll be in touch if additional information is needed." Instead, we spent nearly a week in the dark. Tuesday went by, Wednesday went by, Thursday went by we made multiple calls ourselves, only to be told: "we have to wait 48 hr and Your application is still under review". Finally, late Friday afternoon nearly 5 business days later I called again and was given a vague response. The response I received was beyond disappointing. After all that waiting, the only explanation I was given was: "You don't have any other loans with the high amount you have requested".Which made no sense, there was no counteroffer, and no alternative solution. No attempt to work with us. Just a flat denial. To be clear, if Foothill had approved me, I was fully prepared to move all my banking to your credit union. Instead, you not only lost a new member, but also left me with the impression that your loan process is careless, unresponsive, and dismissive. Due to the response, I applied to SOFI and was approved for a much higher amount and I can easily provide proof of that approval. Your decision was not only poorly handled, but ultimately incorrect. To anyone reading this, I strongly advise you to consider other financial institutions. At Foothill, the chances of getting approved or even getting timely communication are slim to none. I feel that the staff is prejudice and condescending. The ladies each tell you different details of joining the credit union but cannot back up their their stories with legitimate paperwork. I am a woman of color and I got the run around each time I tried to join twice. I have called corporate twice also, so now I wait until I get a response. They say that you need a certain FICA score but cannot prove this is a criteria. I do not recommend Glendora for a good fit me or anyone of color. read more

However I found their contract info and got in touch with a loan representative to do a HELOC. I got set up with the HELOC and did a checking and savings account as well. Cecelia a Personal banker at the Glendora branch set me up and explained things throughly. Nice features from a local credit union. Cecelia was awesome. When it comes to this credit union think this way "less is more" this credit union has an old school banking feel with all the new age perks. Customer service is awesome. When you need something done and they can't take care of it immediately. They legit call you back same day and personally let you know it was taken care of. AWESOME!!! Call time when you call customer service is short. And you get a good rep on the line. Coin star machine inside doesn't charge a fee. Awesome. It's close to my work and I can visit and go in the branch when I need to. It's awesome. Alex the teller is awesome. So helpful and patient and the sweetest person. I love love love my credit union. The WORST!! Service from Cecilia! And I mean horrible!!! She really needs to humble herself stop being lazy and work on the way she talks and approaches people. If you don't wanna do your job, just say that or quit so somebody else that wants to work can do it. I have been a loyal member of this credit union since I was a young girl. They are never helpful towards me when it comes to bad customer service, bullying experiences i have had from their former employees. One of them used to be a filipina manager. They can't help me, when I'm getting yelled at and cussed out by their tellers because of nothing I did. Their excuse is the teller was having a bad day. They can't help me when there's been discrepancies with deposits and withdrawals in the past. They can't help me when there's been a mistake with my IRA account from years ago which was a mistake made by their teller. They can't help me when it comes to getting my money back from handyman scammers because the check has cleared for three weeks. Even when I am paying the monthly bank fees of $5 Their attitude is always "Oh well, your loss you dumb bitch." I haven't been to the other branches for years but since I was a child then, they only spoke to my parents. But the bad vibes someone else has mentioned, I can confirm that since I have experienced the same thing countless times ---- in person and over the phone. They've yelled at me to go to other branches, but since I have other errands to run and other people to see in West Covina, it would be a waste of my time, gas and mileage. They can't even do this nicely, so you don't get that bad vibes of "we don't want you here get the fuck out!" I really should have taken the time, effort and energy to complain and file to the proper government agencies but I regret I didn't. I'm a human being who is busy and tired of having to deal with the extra stress from my personal life that it's been easier to let it go. Love this bank. The location itself is very nice and they have a secure entrance system. The staff are always kind and helpful. They have great rates for loans, credit, and checking/savings accounts. They also have a great system for starting young bankers with youth bank accounts and help them graduate into adult accounts. First, My account has been compromised twice. Second, This month I cancelled a recurring payment (we refinanced) and it went through anyway-now I have spent 2 hours (and counting) trying to get the payment back into my account. because the payment already cleared Foothill said they couldn't help (even though it was their error). This is a great bank to go. Although its a small credit union and they don't have many locations, this location keeps it very convenient with a drive thru ATM and a ATM outside. You can feel secure as it is a two step process to get into the bank. Once inside, it is very clean and spacious. There is a waiting area that has some toys for kids to play with while they wait. There is also a coinstar-like machine which collects your spare change and tallies up your total where you can either withdraw or deposit it to your account. The service here is top-notch. There really put a emphasis on customer service. They are helpful as well as courteous to any and every question or request you give them. If you don't have an account with them and are near the area then I high recommend opening an account! read more
