Just had to compliment the bank manager at Citibank (Elsa Cristo) for all the help. This all is about my debit card getting stuck in an ATM at 7-11. The procedures involved, when this happened should not have happened, but Elsa got everything sorted out for me. So I am a happy camper now, and not stressed about my card now. Absolutely the worst! From them opening late, to the cashier lacking experience to the other banker, George sitting at his cubible acting like there was nothing to do, to Marina, disregarding what to of us customers were there for. We wanted to rollover our CDs but instead she had the other customer standing at a corner and me waiting in line to see the cashier! Worst experience I've ever had at a bank. Went in to cash a check drawn from Citibank and they would not cash it because it was a joint check, even though we were both present with valid identification. The said I'd have to open an account, so I agreed. They said you can't have cash, I said ok, deposit it. Then they said I'd have to make an appointment and it will be at least a week. I almost called them on it, but I decided I never wanted to step foot in that place again. I said you can verify funds, it was a company check from a large US corporation, they said that they were unable to verify funds from a Citibank account that the check was drawn from, it was a small check too btw. So I decided to come in today and open a bank account and the moment I opened the door , Benny stood up from across the room and greeted me and instantly sat me down asked what I was here for and got straight to work ! Man was I happy , I didn't even have to wait he said usually it's by appointment but today he said basically "I got you" lol they weren't that busy neither that was a Plus . He as well offered if I wanted to open up a credit line I already have a credit card but today I guess I'll take a chance on it . He set me up with a temporary card as well today which was Clutch most banks from what I heard make you wait for your card in the mail . My dad's account is blocked and no one to help a 98 and 94 year old. Never got a letter or phone call from citi bank. My mom went to use atm card it at store and they stated card was blocked. Now we have a 3 day weekend and they can't buy anything. Also there is plenty of money in his account. I am here at the bank and another lady is having the same issue with her dad's accoun. I am beyond surprised at the service at this location from Benny. I walked in ready to open a checking account and was told that he's going on vacation so it'll atleast 2 weeks to get an update. I was not in a hurry to open up the checking account, but the fact that I depended only on one person for a business checking account made me feel very uneasy. I usually do my deposits through the ATM, but decided to go inside the branch. The decor is outdated, but the customer service was great! My daughter had her bday crown on and the manager gave her treat and said Happy Birthday! overall great service, way better than Bank of America. read more

Place is kind of old and run down. They don't have alot of workers so there's wasn't much if a line. But when there's a rush it takes forever. My wife and I waited to talk to their only banker for about 45 mins when we were told 30 mins. Finally branch manager came out when it was like 10 tell closing and answers our question in 1 Min. Writing this review as I'm sitting here STILL waiting to be helped after being here for almost an hour! I bring my grandma every year to get papers signed and never have we had a problem.. today after sitting for almost 45 mins someone FINALLY came to see what we are here for and tells us we should have made an appointment.. we have never been told to make an appointment in the past... but that's not my point my point is that this is a bank and when a customer walks in you greet them and you ask them what they are here for! Not after they have been sitting and waiting for an hour. So my one star is for all the employees who failed to help me and the other 2 people sitting here as well.. read more

They closed my account because I took money out to do some business with my home and I guess they didn't like it and closed the accounts closed my Citi CC and my Home Depot acct. This review is for the Personal Banker at the Glendora Branch - Ms. Yijie Xu. Yijie went above and beyond to help me contact Citibank's customer service for a couple of check images from 2 years ago. She wasn't able to find a rep who could help at first, but she didn't give up; she called two more times until she was able to get someone to help us out. She patiently spent 30+ minutes on the phone with the customer service rep explaining what I was looking for and providing information to facilitate the whole process. I'm amazed by her tenacity in getting this done for me and appreciative of her helpfulness. I've never met Yijie prior and I'm not a regular at this branch. Yijie is an exemplary employee and her pursuit of customer satisfaction is a great lesson for everyone in the service industry. Thank you so much for your assistance, Yijie! read more

This location has to be the worst. They closed the one in Claremont which was awesome by the way. These people will only have one teller open and a line out the door. Unfortunately I have to go here because my job doesn't have direct deposit yet. So I have to deal with this place. A few years back I came here to be added to my husband's account. The manager was helping us. I literally thought she was new because it took her over an hour to add me. Not only that she couldn't figure out how to use a fax machine. What person working in a office doesn't know how to work a fax machine. So when we went to the teller I asked her what the manager's experience was. She says she's been with the company 15 years and has been here for 8. Wtf??? I hate coming here, there rude. Last week they actually had 2 tellers open but it only counted as one because the teller was chatting with some lady for like 15 minutes while the line got longer and longer. Everytime I come here someone in line is complaining about how slow they are and how there closing there account. This bank opens at 10am and is not open on weekends. That's the same thing they did with the Claremont before they closed it. Okay my rant is done...:) read more
