In the 2 days that I delayed purchasing, the price of tickets changed from $69 to $79. For me this represented paying an extra $40 since I was buying 4 tickets! There was no advance warning that this was going to happen and when I spoke to the box office they were not interested in honoring the original price I'd seen. Very disappointing.

The seats are large, and there's a lot of space between rows, so it doesn't feel claustrophobic like traditional theaters can. I didn't order anything, and most people didn't either, and it wasn't weird. If you need accessible parking, there are multiple spots right outside the door. I went to two different showings: one in a regular theater and one in the Big Show auditorium. I found the sound quality in the regular theater to be a bit tinny, though the subs are nice. However, I do sound for a living, so the average person will feel the sound quality here is way, way better than what they have at home. Be aware that the regular theaters are not Dolby Atmos. The Big Show is indeed Atmos, and it's a cool experience to have sound in all three dimensions. However, the noise floor in the Big Show was a serious problem when I was there. The AC system was loud to my ears. The noise kills the vibe when you're watching something that is supposed to have silent moments. I have no idea why they would put a unit inside the auditorium rather than down the hall with acoustic ductwork. If they'd do something about the loud background noise in the theater, I'd give the place five stars.

We were also assigned wheelchair-accessible seats even though we didn't request or need them. The food selection was decent, but once the movie started, concessions were no longer available. We watched The Invite starring Seth Rogen, Olivia Wilde, Penélope Cruz, and Edward Norton, but the experience was ruined by repeated buffering and playback glitches. At one point, the movie stopped completely. Since there wasn't anyone actively monitoring the auditorium, staff had to go find someone, which took about 10 minutes, and then bring them back to restart the film. With only two small auditoriums, we expected a smoother operation. Previous reviews gave us hope, but our visit fell well short of expectations. It's especially disappointing because this theater is so convenient for us. As much as we'd like to support independent theaters, we'll likely drive to Mountain View or Redwood City for a more reliable movie-going experience in the future.

We use the summer break to expose our daughter to new activities and interests outside the classroom so she gets outside her comfort zone and can discover what she enjoys. It's clear they have no idea how to engage the kids. Second, the staff is rather rude and impatient with the kids. For example, the team in charge of the sound for the final performance made an unsolicited comment to one of the kids that he was so loud that she needed to turn down the speaker making the kid almost want to cry. Third, without even saying a word to us the parents, the staff made a false report to the Child Abuse & Neglect Center and initiated an investigation of because they are concerned of a potential child abuse of our kid!!! The investigation wasted our time and nearly scared our kids. It was surreal that we needed to explain to the county agent how a 7-year boy would have a scar on his knee from his soccer practice a few years ago. Both the agents and we are frustrated by the trouble the careless and inexperienced staff are causing us. Stay away from this program unless you want real dramas in your life!

This is my first time watching a kids play and it was very fun. The play moved along had a clear plot and was enjoyable by the kids and adults alike (measuring this by how loud the laughter was). The costumes were beautiful and the stage props were colorful. The orchestra was also really cool to experience. The length of time of the play was also good at just an hour. A great way to enjoy art and get the kiddos ready for lunch or other local activities. From reading other reviews it looks like this theatre offers other activities and also performers outside of the building so that's really neat. The actors came out to take pictures at the end so that's was really neat. This is such a neat experience for kids and adults alike. Definitely a fun addition to the toddler and kids activities list!

Space is limited, so definitely get there early. You bring your own picnic blankets and food items, but they also sell some drinks and food at the concession stand, with all proceeds going directly back to the children's theatre. The play is held by a group of child actors of different ages and they all did a great job with their lines and making their whimsical jokes. The script of the play was changed to incorporate characters from other children fairytales such as red riding hood, and other new characters that I didn't recognize, but they tied it all into the main storyline of Hansel and Gretal. The play runs only for about 40 minutes with no intermission. There are porta potties conveniently located across from the garden but their actual bathroom facilities are only a 1-2 minute walk down the corridor. There is plenty of street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.
