One of two Footasylum branches in the city centre, which is located at Unit 98-99 Paradise Street opposite JD Sports and close to Starbucks, North Face and John Lewis, it is a pretty modern store which feels like it has been refurbished lately to follow the typical newer Footasylum brand and layout.
I would say there was a lack of designer and more higher-end brands here especially for trainers which were a shame, the same few brands seemed to be all over the store, so selection did seem pretty poor if you were looking for anything other than a cheap trainer. I personally find many cheap trainers/shoes don't have the longevity, quality and style I like and ultimately cost more in the long run, so it's a shame Footasylum haven't started to understand that yet.
From the few brands they did have, they had a pretty good selection but it's stocking a few brands in general which seems to let the store down.
The store does stand out and look good on Paradise Street and the store isn't completely terrible and still beats my local Footasylum branch in the Manchester Arndale which I find to be terrible, but this certainly wouldn't be in my top 5 or so places to shop for trainers or certain clothing items while in Liverpool. 2* read more
