1 Star- Would not trust them with anything of value. I reached out to FootWorks to repair a softball glove that had some sentimental value. Before dropping it off, I called ahead and was told the repair was something they could handle. I even brought it in first to confirm in person. I was told by the owner, Elizabeth, it would take a couple of weeks. It ended up taking over 3 months, and I had to follow up myself just to get an update. When the glove was finally picked up, the workmanship was extremely disappointing. The repair was incomplete, poorly executed, and not functional. There are exposed and rough areas that could actually cut someone trying to use it. This isn't just a cosmetic issue, the glove is no longer usable as is. I am currently searching for a trustworthy company to handle this glove, and a few others. What I needed was very straightforward: a clean patch and some binding repair. What I got back looks rushed, unrefined, and nowhere near professional quality. I even offered to re-string the glove myself to save time. Delays happen, and not every repair goes perfectly, but the bigger issue here is taking on work that clearly exceeded the shop's capabilities and not communicating that upfront. If you're considering bringing in something you care about, I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion or looking elsewhere. Based on my experience, I would not trust this shop with items of value or anything requiring quality craftsmanship. read more

i wish I could give them zero stars this place treats customers like crap don't do the work then refuse to give you your items back. I have 2 police reports on them, an attorney generals complaint and a BBB complaints where we came to an agreement and then they said they never saw it even though it's time stamped that they read it. Claims they donated my item only to magically get it back. Now won't give me back my items unless I say I will never speak ill about them or they can sue me. I took a pair of western boots to get a rubber half sole put on. But when I got the boots I found it was not done correctly. There were glue blobs between the rubber sole and boot that impeded it being glued flush with the boot. The rubber sole ends were cut jagged, so not attached to the boots well. There were gaps between the rubber outsole and the boots in many places which can let in dirt and debris and eventually peel and come unglued... There was a strange imprint as if a clamp had been used to press the rubber outoles in place, which cut into the leather on the top of the foot, leaving an imprint. I was able to get that out later by applying leather conditioner and wearing the boots briefly in front of a small heater. I sent them 15 pics: 3 emails with 5 sets of pics with an explanation of the problem 2 and 3 times. NONE OF THE PICS I SENT WERE EVER RECEIVED, they all got bounced back, 3 days later. Because this is a small business, I sent an email saying I would not seek a refund, that mistakes happen; and that I was taking the boots elsewhere. I consulted another shoe repair shop and the other repair shop owner verified that the repair was not done correctly, and is re-doing the entire half- sole. He did receive the pics I sent of the improperly done job. He has since fixed the boots and they are now done correctly. I would not recommend this place for sole and half sole repairs on boots. read more

I would not recommend this place, I have been gone here years to get my shoes repair for a long time, but this time they're very overpriced. The job on the work is not looking good and one of my Sandals did not get repaired and I got charged for it, and they did not refund it to back and they just make an excuse for doing all the stuff on it, this is horrible place go. And customer services very poorly. Would not recommend this place. I got charged for $90, $25 for each sandle and $25 for the boots, and $15 for the shoes polish, and they said I was not charge for the other sandle to be repaired, this place is a ripped off. read more

I received the worst customer service that I can recall at Footworks Shoe Repair today. I went to pick up my hubby's shoes that we brought in two weeks ago for repairs, I accidently did not have the pick- up ticket with me that they issued when we dropped off the shoes & they made me pay $5.00 in order for me to take them home with me because I did not have the ticket with me & told me very rudely that in order for me to get a refund I would have to bring in the ticket TODAY. I was on my way to work & there was no way I could get back there before 5 PM & they would not allow me to mail it to them. I can not believe how any business could treat a customer like I was treated, both women that waited on me were extremely rude, this was our first time doing business with them & the last. We will never return after being seriously overcharged. We heard these people were nice but sometimes were a little pricey, so we were prepared to have to pay a little more for the work we needed done, but not a ridiculous amount which is what they charged. The work was mediocre at best but is functional. They aren't too concerned with repeat business when they stick it to you like they did us. You've been warned! read more

Very very bad customer service. I brought a Pair of Jeans for a zipper took two weeks. The first time my daughter put them on the sticking came loose. I brought them back to have the sticking redone and she had them for 10 days and hadn't touched them. Unbelievable poor customer service. And when I was explaining how disappointed I was with her attitude. She acted like she didn't care about my disappointment with her service. If I had her car for a a bad job that I did and she brought it back. I had her car for 10 days and didn't touch it how would she feel about my service? I recently brought in a new deer blind that had been blown away by a heavy windstorm, which tore off all of the stake loops, as well as the rope ties on the sides. What an outstanding job! This place is the absolute best. It literally is better than new. They have also repaired several other items for me and always a fantastic job. I had a great experience at Footworks! I brought in a bag with a broken zipper after another shop had turned me away. After a brief wait (which I spent petting the very friendly shop cat), the owner fixed it in less than a minute and refused to let me pay her for her trouble. Very kind of her!
