I did not have high hopes as the brands they carried are similar to every other store I have been to. When I entered the store there were more sales reps than shoppers in the store and they were very welcoming without being pushy. The young woman that assisted me was the most considerate of reps and she knew her shoes. She measured my feet, asked a bunch of question, listened to my answers and said I'll go get some for you to try on. It was an interesting experience. She actually knew that shoes don't all fit the same from one supplier to the next and she knew that it might take several trips to the back for more shoes before she satisfied my slightly odd requirements. She just kept on helping me until we found the perfect shoes. Thanks to Emma who was so patient and knowledgeable. This place is awesome and the staff are all terrific. Give them a try!!

This running store is semi-hidden in plain sight on the main commercial street running through…read moreKerrisdale (the storefront is recessed from the road), but despite its small size, it sure packs a punch! The merchandise is top-of-the-line brands, from shoes to apparel to accessories. There were some brands I had never even heard of here (although my kid said she knew of these lines. I'm thinking specifically of the ON brand of shoes from Switzerland, but there were other brands as well). Super cool running shoes, some futuristic, all state-of-the-art. And lots of name brands I'm familiar with, too. So the product lines offered here run the gamut from mainstream to elite. The price ranges are likewise broad, depending of what you are looking for. (Note: I did see some cool apparel on a sale rack, and these prices were slashed, so I wonder if their running shoes also go on sale at times). What made this store stand out is the expertise of the employees here. They are all serious runners who know their stuff. I appreciate how they won't try to sell you on something that isn't right for you (regardless how much the item might cost). For someone like me (i.e., totally NOT a serious runner! Probably the antithesis of a serious runner. Someone who just aspires to stay upright when crossing any race's finishing line. lol!), I rely on this type of expertise to steer me in the right direction, as there are SO many products out there, I don't know the first thing about what is available in any given year and what would work best for me.

The customer service here is top notch in normal times and even now during Covid. I was only planning to get one pair of shoes but ended up walking out with two pairs. My sister bought one pair of shoes but got up sold to also buy two pairs of additional insoles. The employees here are the best and make a stressful shopping situation an easy experience. I recently stumbled upon this business during my journey of buying my first pair of barefoot shoes…read more I started at the NV location on Main Street and was greeted with nothing but passion, knowledge, and professionalism from the guy that helped me (didn't catch him name unfortunately). I explained where I am with my training, skill, and abilities and why I wanted to transition to a barefoot style shoe. Instead of doing what most places do and trying to sell me the most expensive shoe in the line. He took the time to go over a variety of different shoes and explained each one thoroughly. When I finally picked a shoe, unfortunately the size I needed was not in stock at this location. He called Dave at the Vancouver location and asked him to set aside ALL size 11 shoes in that model so I could have a choice of color. I went with the Xero HSF and they have been amazing thus far! Fast forward to today. I went into the NV location again with more questions and was very open about my Intention of the visit and that I would more than likely NOT BE buying a shoe but just wanted to confirm a size. This same individual treated me with the same passion, knowledge, and professionalism as the first time. It's customer service like these guys offer that has now made me a 1000% returning and reoccurring customer. This individual also took the time to help me understand my nutrition and how to execute my performance for some upcoming events. Hats off to everyone at thai company for going above and beyond expectations. And see you guys again in the future! Regards, Matthew Marwick.
