These outlet malls have huge savings and as a bonus Oregon has no sales tax and bags .are 05 cents vs. Hawaii's .26 cents. Was greeted promptly by the staff working the floor and offered to assist me with anything if needed. They had a great Sale going at the moment with Puma logo Polo shirts for $15 each. The check out process went without a hitch and I left very happy and satisfied.

It's one of the main stores I hit whenever I'm town and especially whenever I'm looking for anything that isn't Nike or Adidas. With the closing of the Pearl District location (http://www.yelp.com/biz/puma-portland), the pickens for anything Puma related in the area have become that much smaller. Much to the disappointment of Puma fans, the place is only a quarter of the size of the nearby Nike outlet. There are a handful of clothing racks for both men's and women's and the back area is for the limited footwear selection. While they don't have a lot of sales, the deals that can be found here are pretty solid. Customer service is one thing they do well here. For anything I've ever needed help on the Puma people behind the counter are right on it. Though one thing that strikes me is the fact they're decked out in Puma gear that is almost never found in the store. It's another mini reminder this Puma location is more outlet than retail.

Workout tops, jackets, leggings, yoga pants, shorts and even accessories like socks, headbands, hats and more. As I entered, I was greeted with a cheerful hello and an offer to assist. Since I wear New Balance sneakers, I was looking for a specific style, their waterproof walking shoe that rolls when you walk. This technology really helps my plantar fasciitis keeping the weight off of my heal which is so inflamed. Unfortunately they don't carry this particular style but the sales rep showed me a few other options. . Since good walking shoes are expensive, even at the outlet, I didn't want to take a chance on an unknown when I actually have a style that has proven to work for me. Without the right support, I literally can't even walk 20 feet! So I'll have to order the grid and true style online. Will definitely stop at this store every time I'm at the Woodbury Outlets to see if they have the style sneaker I wear and to check out the athletic wear, which seems to be the only thing I wear in these pandemic times! Eventually a manager came to help her and the two of them continued to work on whatever the issue was. The original cashier just stood there, doing nothing at all. Eventually another cashier came to open another register and then her customer had an issue. Now those of us in line have been there at least 20 minutes with absolutely no acknowledgement by anyone anywhere. We customers may as well been invisible. I knew there were at least 2 more workers in the store, one in the back corner straightening out the clearance racks (hardly a priority when you have customers waiting for 20+ minutes to purchase their items). I understand that there can be issues at the register, no prob. But the utter lack of acknowledging the customers, thanking them for their patience, or proactively calling another employee to help at the cash registers was epic in the utter disregard for customers. I love Columbia but wow, better training is absolutely needed!

This is probably my favorite store at the Woodburn outlets. As one would imagine, they exclusively…read moresell Volcom brand items, and their Target customers are skateboarders, snowboarders, and people who enjoy those styles of chlothes. What is special about this store is that they have some really aggressive sales allowing you to get quality chlothing and some of the best outerwear in the industry at amazing prices. I recently visited this location in November, and was lucky enough to make my purchases during a particularly good sale: 40% off all items in the store, with additional 20% off the subtotal. I came in to get a couple pairs of their jeans, and was able to leave with 1 sweatshirt, 1 T-shirt, and 2 pairs of their denim for a total of $89.76. Normally these items would have came to about $190, but that's why I went to the Woodburn outlets. It's not uncommon at all to find them running sales like 40%-60% off the entire store, which is an amazing value if you're a fan of their pieces. This store can be quite handy if you're a snowboarder since outerwear is typically painfully expensive, and Volcom makes some of the highest quality stuff in the industry. However, no matter what you are buying here, you'll get an excellent deal and get to enjoy having the luxury of a huge selection of colors and fits on everything in the current line of chlothing, something you won't be able to do at any other Volcom retailer.

I came in to make a purchase and thought I found some great pieces but it took over 45min to ring up the person in front of me with only 2 people in the store and 2 employees. When the second employee started to ring me up she kept stopping to help the first. Ultimately I ran out of time after over an hour, I never anticipated it taking so long and it's no exaggeration. Even the first customer kept telling them no when they couldn't figure it out because she wanted to leave too. I asked that the employee put the items on hold and I'd be back. She had my name from waiting to purchase with my card and yet when I came back not only had everything been put back but the prices had changed and half of the items I had selected had been sold. Suddenly I was paying 3x the amount I would have, for fewer items overall. I honestly get better service online and yet they've lost my business.

Been coming here for years whenever I need a quick pick-me-up and only a new handbag will do! Both are lower, which is why I'm here. Even though I shop here pretty regularly, I have two major complaints. The high pressure sales and the cumbersome and deliberately complicated pricing scheme. Yes a pricing scheme, not a pricing structure. In the past, as soon as you walked in, you were bombarded with sales clerks giving you coupons, telling you about the sale of the day, and asking what you were looking for. All of that turns me off! Too high pressure. Give me space. Let me breathe. Good news!! They have changed their style! Now, just one person is by the front door and simply welcomes you in. So much better! If I need a personal shopper, I will ask for assistance. The other annoyance was the complicated pricing system designed so that you needed a calculator to determine the actual cost. I'm not kidding, they would give you a calculator! It was a major challenge and I'm a wiz at math! Discounts on top of discounts that differed on every item. Ridiculous. Just tell me the gosh darn price! We already know this is an outlet and there will be deals. And not one of us believes this tiny purse of low quality was ever priced at $398 and it just happens to be my lucky day so I can purchase it for $89. Seriously, just put the dang price on the bag. Well, more good news! They now have a scan code on a sign that you scan into your phone. This enables you to scan any barcode on any item to see the actual price. Not what it originally was or what it was first discounted to. The price you actually pay! Hallelujah! Finally Coach has moved forward with the times and stopped selling handbags like we are buying them off an infomercial at 3am. Along with 2 Ginzo knives! Now that the rant is over, there were lots of nicely styled bags available in a variety of price ranges. Nothing that I had to have, and that's ok. But what I did need was some LOVE. We are nearing Valentine's Day so they had a display of bags in Valentine's Red or pink or with hearts. Plus a few bags in their signature brown print with LOVE emblazoned in a 70s style script in shades of Orange. And a tag of the same that you can clip onto a pony bag and adorn it in LOVE. That's what I bought! For about $25, I bought me some much needed LOVE and I'm super happy with my purchase. Thanks again, Coach, for listening to your customers and making much needed improvements to reduce the high pressure sales and make it easy for customers to figure out the price. Price it right and they will buy, it's that simple.
