Five Stars for Men's Wearhouse in Auburn, Washington!…read more I had to stop by Men's Wearhouse in Auburn the other day to find a shirt for my brother. He's a bigger guy, so I thought I would go in and see what they had--and WOW, was I impressed! When I walked through the doors, I honestly didn't know what to do with myself because the store was so clean, organized, and beautiful! Everything looked neat and well cared for, and the shirts were actually ironed and looking fantastic. Even the store smelled terrific! The customer service was absolutely wonderful. The employees were friendly, helpful, and made shopping there a pleasant experience. You could tell that the people working there take pride and joy in what they do and in helping customers find nice suits, shirts, ties, and more. I was also pleasantly surprised by the price of the shirt I purchased. I had always been under the impression that Men's Wearhouse was expensive, but I was very pleased with what I got and how much I paid. It was a great experience from beginning to end. The store has great parking, great employees, beautiful merchandise, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere. Thank you, Men's Wearhouse, for taking pride in your business and making it such a pleasant place to shop. We will definitely be back! Five stars from that Review Lady on Yelp!

The Commons at Federal Way is a large mall that seems to be 'holding on' as best it can. Kohl's is…read morean anchor store. There is also a large discount furniture store. A home good type discount store has excellent prices on things like brand name sink faucets, stand-up desks, work out equipment, beds, dishes, linens, lighting, decor and way more. There are also several clothing stores including a couple of fancy dress shops for Indian and Latin attire. Absolutely beautiful gowns. Also casual attire, sports attire, hats and shoes. There are two or three barber shops inside plus a nail salon. The food court is gone with only pretzle still available. However, there are several restaurants on the perimeter of the parking lot. Lots of free parking. The public area is clean and makes a good indoor space to get some walking. I didn't see any automatic doors. Handicap parking available in various areas around the building.

THE COMMONS @ FEDERAL WAY…read more Parking is available right out front, with plenty of free spots for customers. There is also handicap parking conveniently located in front. I've been to this common area a few times before, and it honestly feels pretty quiet, almost to the point where it's not really worth going out of your way to drive here. The main attraction that draws people in is the movie theater, but aside from that, many of the surrounding stores have already closed down. There doesn't seem to be much renovation happening or many new businesses opening up at the moment. I do hope that more businesses move in down the line, as the space itself is very large and spacious. Overall, it's a calm and quiet area, with a few decent spots to walk around, but not much else going on right now.

Hmm let's see ... the best Pendleton coat ever (and big enough for me!) at her Fremont Sunday…read moreMarket stand, cartoon nostalgia at her Tacoma shop, an unbeatable selection of Christmas sweaters when that season rolls around, and extremely affordable prices all around. It'd be tough to improve on anything at Pure. There are people who get in the business of hawking vintage stuff because it's trendy or a quick buck, and then there are people who know the business deeply because they love it. Jordan is firmly in the latter camp; her little shop on "I" St. (across from Tacoma Little Theatre) was her family shop for ages, and the newer, more expansive one (attached to Kings Books) allows plenty of room to roam. (It also feels really clean, unlike some vintage stores I've browsed.) With different stuff in the store vs. at the year-round weekly market vs. in the Etsy shop, you can have a whole lot of fun browsing here. And when you find the winners for you, it won't break the bank to hug them all up (Tiny Toons/Elmira-style) and bring them home with you. Enjoy!

We just finished hockey and wanted to hit up some local thrift, vintage, shops. So when we arrived, they were closed. We walked to a nearby thrift store then came back. We were immediately intrigued by the stores ambiance. It was set up really cute, total vintage, and clean. Many things caught our eyes, and we scattered all giddy, but the elder behind the counter kept staring at us, NONE STOP. Like we were stealing from her. Which made it awkward. So we didn't stay long. Then she got very flustered, that I wanted to pay 1/2 cash, 1/2 card. I stood there quietly. To the point I was like, just keep the clothes. It's ok, but we really liked what we were buying. Many things are over priced, as many "vintage" stores are. (Ex. A "very" used pair of Converse Chucks were $45). You gotta really shop for the diamond in the rough, but it's absolutely worth it. They had a nice selection of attire, we would've purchased more. However, not finding much clothing under $40, and I was shopping with two teenagers. It was a tad outta our price range.

Pure Vintage Clothing - This is all mine now. Sorry-not sorry. But Pure has a ton of vintage Pendleton for you to score, too.
