Famfare produces hot meals for families and distributes them at pickup spots throughout the metro. I WISH they'd been around when I had a house full of kids, but I'm a regular patron of them now. My husband owns a business about a mile from the Kitchen, and every Wednesday, we cater lunch for the office staff. We're not talking subs or pizzas, we have nice meals that bring employees from the field into HQ to get some actual decent food. We found Famfare by accident but quickly realized their meals are an enormous hit with our staff, and as someone who knows their way around a kitchen, I can tell you they know what they're doing. Libby and Jen were kind enough to accommodate our requests to have their meals picked up during the noon hour, and they are piping hot when we get them. The salad dressings are made in-house and are exceptional, and the loaves of bread are fresh and tasty. These aren't just boring meals either...Beef Stroganoff, Grilled chicken pitas with buttery rice pilaf, Thai eggroll bowls, meatloaf...they're all delicious and well crafted. This would be a great gift to give someone who needed help providing meals once a week or a gift to yourself to cover Wednesday dinners. The shop also has a freezer full of soups, breakfast casseroles, and other meals. The meals are packaged thoughtfully and ready for travel, so you need not worry about a mess in the car. Take it home, quick reheat, and an even faster assembly, and you have a delicious meal for the entire family-effortless!

Ambiance wise, it's next to a pretty busy convenience shop and there's no dedicated seating, but I don't think people expect that for an airport bagel place lol. It's fine for an airport bagel -- I like that they have some spreads i haven't seen elsewhere (lemon caper was great!). Only con was that service was slow-ish. I had an early flight and there was only one other person in line -- it still took around 10 minutes.

The sandwiches were good and quick since we were the only ones there. My only complaint is the menu advertised "two scrambled eggs" for the sandwiches. They only gave us one egg for each sandwich, and it was not scrambled, just over easy. This gives a much more runny yolk, which I am not a fan of.

The store is quaint and it's always clean. I appreciate that they offer plenty of chicken options since I don't eat pork or beef. The meals are easy to put together with clear instructions on the back, which saves a lot of time, and everything I've tried has been delicious. Parking has never been an issue, and they always pick up the phone when I call. Prices are a little on the higher side, but they have a wide selection to choose from. If you stock up for a week, you'll save a little, though not a ton. For me it's really the convenience that makes it worthwhile, with everything prepped, packaged, and ready to go.

I will say that they try very very hard and it is run by student alumni. But here are some improvements I would recommend. I mean on paper it looks good, when you see photos of the food they serve it looks really good but once you taste it, it is not very good quality. In my opinion it is like food you would find at McDonald's with Indian food added on it. Also with flute name global kitchen it is very ironic because the food they serve is not very global. I would say if they want to improve it their food should be more global and food that you would find at Midtown Global Market. I would also highly recommend that they expand their menu. For example they could serve Somali and Hmong food foods from Somalia and Southeast Asia because there are an awful lot of Somalian and Hmong people who go to the college.m, and food from other parts of the world which can make the name be more realistic. I also think they should sell some caffeine free sodas for people who may not be able to have caffeine like people with epilepsy and diet sodas or sodas with zero sugar. Overall I think they try very very hard, but these are just some opinionated views and some recommendations for the restaurant
