I'd give it a solid 3.5 since they ARE open 24/7 and very close to the subway station. If you're…read moreheading home and need something late at night, it's very convenient to come in here. It's also the only grocery store I've seen in NYC, much less NY state, to have any type of Cheerwine on the shelves. If you go near the front where glass bottles of soda are located, you might just find Cheerwine Zero here like I have. I'd look for the sales since it's not that cheap here price wise and the store itself is tiny so selection can be a bit limited and it's not the most intuitive layout. I find it inconvenient that they have water and other items where the end of the checkout lines are so you can't meaningfully get that stuff unless you cut the line to go through an empty register to get it. I'm sure this has prompted more than one incident where a customer was accused of attempted shoplifting just for getting some soda or water they wanted to buy and didn't want to make a second trip for. The line can also get long and winding around here which I bet makes this issue worse. It's definitely convenient and not a bad option if you have EBT food money but if you don't, I wouldn't recommend doing all your weekly shopping here if you have the option to get better deals or more selection elsewhere.

I came here around 10:20 PM and I asked for a club card the manager in the front tells me to come…read morein the morning and that it's a long process this and that and honestly it's not about the two dollars that I wanted to save but the whole thing doesn't make sense then why are you guys open and you have it advertise on your circular and on top of that I left my keychain at home for the digital coupon . I wanted to make one for my friend that was shipping with me They didn't even help or anything and have a nasty attitude and don't honor manufacturer coupons

"This joint is jumping it's really jumping..."…read more After a long day of traveling from LA to JFK then driving to our Hotel in LIC, we needed to eat and this place was opened late. At 10:30 pm it was packed! We were seated in the back and Bianca took great care of us! Once we put in our order our food came pretty quickly. We did the "breakfast for dinner" thing - omelettes, fries and toast with one odd ball ordering a gyro:) Everything was delicious! I was starving so my spinach & feta cheese omelette disappeared from my plate before my eyes... Very friendly staff, good food and very clean inside. Street parking - read the signs

Getting closer to 1900 reviews, this diner underneath the 7 train astonished me with how good diner…read morefood can be, even if the prices are a little on the steeper side. When it comes to diners, I often stick to the classics. Sandwiches, breakfast, burgers, and a meat loaf. This time I decided to branch out of my comfort zone after playing it safe lately. From the outside, and even the interior, my initial impression was that this was like my neighborhood Parkview Diner in Coney Island. Fair options, nothing crazy, but figure to give it a try and never think twice of this restaurant. Boy, was I wrong. I ordered the Chicken Caprice with French Onion soup. The soup is not too overwhelming in flavor, but it does the job like a good diner should. Copious amounts of cheese, some croutons, with the melted cheese bubbling at the top. Aside from the fact the broth was a bit bland, for a starter soup, it is fine. When it came to the Chicken Caprice, I figured I made a terrible mistake. I figured a big portion of gummy chicken, overcooked, borderline inedible pasta, an acidic sauce, to the point I would take three bites and never speak of this dish ever again. Boy, I was wrong again. The chicken is a little tender, but definitely not something inedible, and has decent flavor. The pasta is not overcooked at all, it has a mellow toothy texture that does not feel mushy. The red sauce is not acidic at all. It has not given me angina or stomach issues. In fact, it has very little acid at all. If this is how they treat their specials, I am excited to see how they do breakfast. I am also happy to have found out they are open 24/7, so this diner is definitely an option for those lazy days, or a rewind after a busy day. For anything here, you simply cannot go wrong.
