The store is dirtly. cluttered. and way too many employees, a lot in yellow vests(mgmt) just standing around. i literally had 6 employees standing around the self checkout, while the customers waited in line. all of these employees standiing around, are costing the customers $$. employees wages /benefits do not come from management or corporate, it comes from charging the customers more. yesterday, i went in and there were NO bags. the entire store was out. seriously?! how does that happen? it happens because the personnel there are lazy and incompetent. Covid was an excuse to be out of items, but the supply chain is strong. the only excuse for not having something, especially bags, is because of incompetency. someone didnt inventory and reorder. this type of situation happens all the time at this store. everytime i go in with a list, at least one of the items im looking for isnt stocked on the shelf. i have sent mutltiple complaints to Corporate, and yet same problems. it wont take long before this is just another ghetto walmart that no one wants to go to. so sad for our once nice quaint little town.

When I got there the deli couldn't find my order. I was directed to the produce department and they couldn't find it either. I showed them my email. Like ordering a cake for my wife's birthday. So the day before I wind up at the mercy of the bakery as she wanted a strawberry blossom cake only made at Lowe's. Of course, there weren't any made at the time and after calling two other locations, I thought all was lost. Theresa stepped in and said she would make me one and I could even pick it up after 4 that day as we would be out of town the next. I got there just after 4 and she had a beautiful cake waiting for me. Saved my hide and did so with professionalism and kindness. So thank you, Theresa, for making my wife's birthday a bit better and keeping this disabled vet from panicking.

Sweet woman who explained the Rosé I have been saying I wanted to try. (I'm a Cab Girl) Walked a few aisles & found a bar! Wow!! My husband chose a beer & had a small taste. Talked a bit with another Employee and was suggested a new one he has never had. He loved it. I chose a new Cab Sav. to try, bought a bottle to bring home. Great atmosphere! Nice to know you can buy a bottle in the store & pop it open in the bar area. They have outdoor seating!!! I did skim through the Cab Sav aisle & was pleased to see some of my fav's at a cheaper price than my local grocery store! Plus, a few I've never seen and plan to try. They have a bar in the back with seating and private tables. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and able to point you in the right direction per your preference. It's an odd note to bring up, but I've got to mention that the locals at this location aren't all inviting to visitors. Just expect a different vibe than you expect in the Triangle, Southern Pines is a very country, small town place.
