It's a small Trader Joe's. Not as big as the Trader Joes in bigger cities. There are some…read morevegetarian prepared meals. Lot of organic frozen vegetables. Lots of organic fruit, vegetables and lettuces. No corn syrup here. But there are seed oils. A high quality olive oil. Toiletries are not very good. Filled with chemicals. But the detergent and dish soap are very good. High quality dog treats. They are usually out of things. They do sell a high quality wild Argentinian shrimp. Organic coffee, Buns made with butter instead of seed oils And a sprouted bread. Healthier snacks. Prices are low..

Shoutout to Cierra, who delivered fast and friendly customer service. This store's atmosphere is great as well- friendly, helpful, always clean and well organized. I come to Trader Joe's primarily for their organic breads, specialty drinks and desserts, single ingredient dog treats, non-scented body products, and their chocolate chips, which are kosher, gluten free, AND DAIRY-FREE! These items prices at Trader Joe's cannot be beat, and I love that I can go to a store to pick them up the same day versus ordering something so specific online to be shipped. This location is continually busy, but long lines move quickly, and the staff seem to always have a smile on their face while they work efficiently. The parking lot is also continually busy and can become a bit congested, so have patience. Still a great Trader Joe's. Thank you to Cierra and the Trader Joe's team for making our visit a pleasant one.

Supermercado El Sol - So much fresh produce

I noticed this place opened up in my neighborhood just recently. Now, you would really never notice…read moreit was there. It's set back on the property and is like a warehouse. I just noticed the handwritten sign saying "mercado". I decided to drop in and check it out. The space is big and it looks like they are still in the processing of opening/setting up. There are lots of different latin products in there and a huge selection of kitchen stuff - huge pots, pans, etc. Everything you need to get started making a delicious latin meal. The produce - oh my goodness - I've never seen such an array of produce. All looking so fresh and so good. There were lots of stuff I didn't even recognize. They have a refrigerated area with cheeses, tortillas, pre-made items, etc. It also looks like they are putting in a big meat counter and maybe even some in-house prepared foods. I picked up a giant Asian pear and some tortillas (they only have one brand though - hope that changes) and headed towards the register. There they had a bin of fresh made chicken tamales for $1.50 each. I grabbed a couple and had that for dinner. Very good. These are more like central american tamales wrapped in banana leaves. The masa was very moist and thick. The chicken had a great flavor with a bit of spice. I can't wait until they fully open and have the meat counter and prepared food area open. Keep your eye on this place.
