At 5 am I called them and let them know , I was told to come into work stinking, then when customers would come in she would purposely go over and make remarks about the skunk smell. She would make messes in the kitchen area with water and employees would slip, I know I was one of them. And then blame employees for it. I walked away from the job because I will not be bullied by my employer, I was embarrassed to be at work because of being sprayed by a skunk that morning. And she did everything possible to make me feel more embarrassed. She has no compassion for her employees, just the ones she favors. My dog and I both had patches of marks on us from the spray that had burned the skin because we weren't able to wash it off properly because I had to go to work. Said they needed me there for the truck but they didn't need me at all. There weee two other cashiers there. And Debra and the assistant manager just stood around in the kitchen bsing . Or she would be outside bsing for hours with whoever. If anyone should be the Gm there it's Brandon, when training and teaching he's got the patience and explains everything. I could do away better job at being a gm there then Debra least my employees wouldn't be leaving left and right. And the only person who can cook the food right there is Melissa. Foods always perfect.Debra needs to stay out of the kitchen.

While the employee behind the meat and seafood counter provided helpful customer service, the other employees I encountered did not. What a deal, I thought, as I later reasoned that the ad: "SAVE 50 cents each" -- meant the loaf did not cost a half dollar. As I walked through the bakery/deli aisle, I saw only one baguette in a large display basket. The price, $3.29 with 50 cents off if one also purchased a pound of chicken salad. The solo employee visible in the deli had his back to me as he was busy with a task. When I caught his attention, I asked him where I might find the baguettes. He said, "back there." i asked him if there were more. He said he didn't know and didn't offer to assist. As he returned to his task and with no eye contact, he added, "They must be sold out." I walked back to the lone baguette as another bakery/deli employee emerged. I asked her if it was on sale. She didn't know and instructed me to take it to checkout where the cashier would know. WRONG. He did know that customers would get 50 cents off if they also purchased chicken salad, so I brought up the ad on my phone displaying baguettes at 50 cents off with no chicken salad attached. Such a small issue, yet with a reputation as a top-notch store, one would think customers might encounter employees skilled in top-notch customer service and product knowledge.

I think the best place to shop, for me at least, is Aldi's and I guess I'll go there instead because the green leaf lettuce there is fresher and will not go bad as quickly as the $4 lettuce that I bought at IGA.
