The girls who answer the phone (when I could actually get someone to answer) were completely rude and unfriendly. If it weren't for the referral, I would have canceled (or not scheduled at all). Anyways, when arriving for my appointment I was greeted with so much attitude, I walked out. NEVER to return again. Funny thing is, I had lunch with a friend today, and after telling her my experience, she said she had a similar story with the same office staff. PHEW--now, I know it's not just me. They told me I was a patient of another one of their providers and I told them that provider is not covered under my insurance, so my insurance set me up with the other provider. I as told that is not likely since they are all one group. I told the staff member that I've tried 3 times to make an appointment and contacted the insurance each time. The staff member told me in that case I would have to wait till after the first of the year for an appointment because I would be considered a new patient. I'm always able to get my family in on the same day if they are open. The doctors always spend a good amount of time with us and I always leave feeling my questions were answered. Dr ponder is incredibly awkward and gives off weird energy. I didn't use him as my provider but I…read moredid get a vaginal ultrasound from him and he actually hurt me while doing it. And again it is painfully awkward. I used one of the midwife's here and she was younger than me. I was 27. The midwife cut my baby's umbilical cord unnecessarily RIGHT after she was born. Literally like 5 seconds after for absolutely no reason. She took a breath right after birth. I was pressured to get an iud after birth. I declined. The midwife clearly had hardly any experience and seemed extremely stressed my entire birth even though it was a non eventful birth. I will not go back to this office for anything again.
