It came back with a recommended $5100 report worth of needed work even though the car has been running totally fine. They were ready to do it and we opted to pick up the car instead. We took the car back to our regular mechanic who said it could use new tires and brakes within the next couple of months but the car is in fine condition. The reviews on here are good so I have no idea what this was all about but please use discernment with their recommendations!

When I questioned him about that he said, oh we had a price increase and I really don't like to do tires!! A 50% price increase?? I don't think so...........he just wanted to see if he could get $120 out of me. Besides, he could charge $100 a tire to mount and balance.............it's all about disclosure. If I had known he was going to charge $12o instead of $80, I would have not left my vehicle there. When I went to the parking lot to take my truck, there now is a large dent in the top of my door into the roof that was not there when I left the truck!! I knew what he was going to say when I confronted him about it......I say I didn't do it and you say I did. Well it happened in his care. It may have happened in his parking lot or in the shop. I don't know but it definitely was not there when I left the truck. This guy is dishonest. Have your vehicle worked on at your own risk. You have been warned. The son, who runs the mechanic side looked it over. And before he did any work he took me into the garage and showed me what exactly was wrong. It was the pulleys to the serpentine belt. He gave me the price and upon pick up the price remained the same. Also the turn around rate was so quick. Every other time I have been to a mechanic for repairs they always call with something else that "has" to be repaired immediately. Thus equating to more money. Highly recommended George's.

They automatically said I needed all new brakes all new rotors etc and said it would be over $2000. I wound up bringing it to another place who said they would do it for $1600 but after looking at it they said that there is nothing wrong with my brakes and I don't need anything done. Unlike the auto shop who said that they don't even recommend me driving it. Since then, the car's been to New York twice and the brakes are completely fine. I highly recommend you don't bring your car here unless you wanna get screwed by these crooks because this is the last time i'm going.
