So 105$ total which is outrageous. The driver did not have the meter running at all during the trip, the car did not have any rates posted anywhere inside the car or the price of $15 per person. All of this is against taxi laws. When we arrived we called the drivers boss and he agreed to $40 for the ride very quickly. This is when we knew they were attempting to rip us off. And to take advantage of a group of girls is even more disappointing.

She agreed and arrived in the monsoon like weather. She picked us up on Daniel Island and headed for Market Street. She kept up the conversation and had everyone laughing from the moment we got in the car. She even gave us an impromptu tour around the battery and told us some of the best stories we've ever heard about the great town of Charleston. I was hoping that she would mention this recipe book that I read about in other reviews and she did not disappoint. Almost on cue, she handed each of us her famous recipes. And when we started to get a little rowdy she even offered to get a "switch" after us. Anyone from the south knows how serious it is to be warned with switch. Ms. Lorraine was great! She took great care of us told us to be careful and have fun. Next time I'm in town, I will definitely call her up.

I had a destroyed trunk full of luggage, three passengers and a dog. Oh and I just needed to make it a cool 500 miles home. I called virtually every cab company on the outskirts of Charleston, and they all told me I was outside of their range. Except for Charleston Green Taxi! Not only did they come pick me up, they were able to accommodate me in every way. I had the nicest driver and she was more than patient with me as I tried to get a rental car and transfer all my stuff. After driving me to Enterprise, she waited an extra half-hour while this process took place and did everything she could to help.
