We visit from California each summer, and hit up Foggdukkers most days there. It's like a place from a movie - apparently cobbled together from bits & pieces of drift wood, random old worn statues standing around, plastic chairs & old picnic tables (unless you snag an Adirondack chair right on the water). The coffee (and tea) selection is great, the owner is friendly, and the view is excellent. You may see seals or dolphins, or enjoy a campfire on the best days. Don't miss this one of a kind place! read more

Love the location by the ocean. Open fire pit when allowed. Fresh coffee and ice cream. What more could you ask for? Local favourite.

Yummy coffee and incredible views! Have a delicious coffee drink in a glass mug and relax with the incredible views as your backdrop.

Even though they don't have a big selection, the service & coffee are both AMAZING not to mention you get a view of the ocean to boot! Great, friendly service & freshly make lattes are always a win-win! They also sell fabulous roasted coffee as well. It's definitely a must stop & see in my book read more

Was on a bit of a Saturday joy ride and found myself driving down the Island Highway was from Campbell River. I saw FD as I was zooming past and actually turned around to go back. Lucky to find a spot in their parking lot and delighted to find a take out window. The lady working was personable and smiling and Hope and I got a large coffee and went to join the crowd on the "patio". So nice to sit outside in the sun in early March right on the ocean. I felt like I was in a friend's yard and everyone was chatting. I must admit, Hope being as gorgeous as she is is quite a draw. Bonus? Coffee was delish- I will be back!! read more

Great friendly service. The coffee is very good and again, beautiful ocean view from the seating area.

Go for the "F- Bomb" and stay for the view I love to stop by when out for a road bike ride. One of the best views in CR

Cute little coffee shop along the water! The barista is very friendly, they make great drinks and you can sit and enjoy the amazing view!

I'm not sure about the other reviews but I had several small americanos and they were delicious. I had an early morning conference call and went into town very early to get a good cell signal and this place was open at 6am. As I mentioned the Americanos were perfect. I added a extra shot to mine because I like them strong. The Internet was solid and I was able to use VOIP for my call. And what's not to like about the location? And the beachcomber vibe of this place? 5 stars for me. read more

Love this place...great coffee, great atmosphere, gotta love the firewood stove inside and the fire pit outside. Great place to have a coffee and enjoy the moment. Perfect place to write the great Korean American/Canadian novel. read more

Great little coffee shack on the oceanfront. Sit around the wood stove on the inside or relax outside around the fire. Two thumbs up for this place, definitely worth stopping in. read more

My wife had a hot chocolate and was one of the worst she ever had. I took a sip and agreed. A package of no name would have been better. I had just a normal coffee it was mediocre. A Mcdonalds coffee has better taste and flavour. Besides the ocean view which honestly a person can see anywhere. It will be my first and last time here. Staff was friendly but quality of products used was horrendous. Not sure why they are busy beside the view. read more

Foggdukkers Coffee is the best tasting, best atmosphere coffee shop I have ever been to. The ocean views (watching whales or pods of dolphins going by) around the cosy fire outside on a great day is perfection on earth. On a cold and rainy day the warmth of the wood stove and watching the storms is amazing. Having a fogg or a special coffee. Great snacks. You'll love it. Not fancy; real, loving and everyone is family and welcome. read more

Best cup of coffee anywhere. Sit right in cozy loungers right on the waterfront with a full fire set up. The locals come here to yak and the owners is upbeat and fun. Can't be beat even had a ice cream cone when there daily! read more

Family run sweet little coffee shop right on the ocean! Location is second to none, waves crashing on the shore, whole you pull up your lawn chair to watch and sip on your latte Limited menu, but they had a terrific soup and muffins for lunch. All kinds of coffee and a few desserts We need more of these homegrown places like this on our island! See you again read more

A fantastic coffee bar, smoothies and teas with make them yourself waffles with all of the toppings. Family friendly and pet friendly. Young and old love to sit outside and talk with the owners Kim and Harry who are amazing and fun. Watch the seals, whales, eagles and cruise ships go bye all day and night. In the winter come inside sit by the woodstove and read a book or surf the net. It is like Cheers but without the booze. Come on down and try it. Tell them Laney sent you. You will really enjoy the atmosphere and especially your drink. See you there. read more

Great location, love the feel of the place, but coffee was mediocre, and was service ok. There is definitely room for improvement.

By far the best Coffee shop in the Universe. I come here from Texas. Extremely hospitable staff and great coffee. Great conversation and an international clientele. Oh and the view is amazing. This place will be on my list of must go to recommendations to anyone who travels to Campbell River. read more

Love the view. Coffee was ok but not fantastic. Good service. Inside there are a lot of toys and maybe that's nice for young families but not my idea of decor. read more

Cute place on the beach, but the coffee was awful -- bitter, burnt and very, very weak. I couldn't finish it, and I was desperate for a coffee. I wouldn't bother with a return visit. read more
