If you're indecisive, like me, then even better because Stonehouse Teas is the only place in Campbell River that offers BBT. The shop has a large selection of loose leaf tea, tea ware and tea accessories (ranging from tea infusers to tea cozies). They have everything (and more) to make a perfect cup of tea. They also offer a selection of freshly baked pastries. Their BBT selection is also huge! I opted for the strawberry slush with pearls. Coming from a place where bubble tea is widely available (ie. Vancouver), my high expectations for BBT in a small city (ie. Campbell River) seem a little unfair. I'd have to say the the pearls were disappointing; they weren't soft and chewy. It's the same pearls that I'd get if I saved my BBT overnight in the fridge. The slush itself was good though. A for effort and I was happy that I was able to find BBT in Campbell River! I have faith that their BBT will improve! Until then, I probably wouldn't get BBT unless I was really craving for it. However, I would come back for their tea and fresh pastries, which was very satisfying! Very kind staff as well.

Our only issue was its on a curve on a 90k highway and is a scary spot to pull out from and you can easily miss it going North. Signage to warn traffic of turning vehicles and big caution signs and lower speeds on that stretch should be implemented by highway department.

After driving for about 1.5 hours and find Sue's B & B and Brown's Bay Marina Restaurant both closed, we were super hungry when we finally arrived at this place. This is a really small "hut" and when we approached, we weren't even sure whether there is real food or it's just a convenience store. We were SUPER excited when we discovered that they served food. The place was small, cozy, and packed with people. There was only a lady cooking in a home-style kitchen, so don't expect your food to arrive that quickly. People also seemed to know each other, and I've never felt that way in Vancouver before. My husband ordered a seafood chowder and salmon grilled cheese while I ordered a seafood melt. The portions were very generous, and the food was SUPER good. DID NOT expect food to be at that quality AT ALL when we first entered. Highly recommend this place for anybody going to Campbell River for whatever reason. One thing special to note is that they allow dogs to go in, so some people may have problems with that. I love dogs though.
