This is the poorest county in all of New York State. Some people are disabled and need the massage therapy and sacrifice a lot of things in order to get the massage therapy. But, when the owner gets very upset that you're only giving her $20 tip. That itself was not a good idea as I have owned my own business as well.

Atmosphere: When I got there they were very nice, professional, the place is clean, well decorated, very relaxing, take cash or card. Treatment: I opted for the 60 minute Chinese bodywork massage. It was wonderful. The piriformis can be a tough area to get into, but she knew how to manipulate my leg to get to it, unlike other masseuses I've been too. My lower back, leg, ankle felt so much better after the treatment. I know I'll need more treatments, however now I feel like my leg is getting better vs steadily getting worse. Other Comments: I don't get the previous reviewer. It's an Asian spa, how can you be so ignorant or intolerant to complain about Asian women speaking in their native language to each other. She must complain about cooks in Chinese restaurants, or girls at Korean nail salons too. I also had a second woman join my massage for a few minutes when nothing else was going on. Normally you have to pay extra for the 4 hand massage but they did not add it to my bill. Again, why would the previous reviewer complain about getting a higher level of service is beyond me. Also, as I was coming in 2 different guys were on their way out. Both separately were raving about how good their massages were and how they couldn't wait to return. I know I can't wait to come back and try the cupping or foot reflexology.

She finds therapeutic pressure points and knots l didn't even know were there, and I always have a precious few days afterwards of not feeling "crunchy" and tight. On top of that, she has a really warm and welcoming bedside manner and is very prompt and organized when it comes to booking appointments (which can be done over text - yay!) On top of that, she takes a wholistic approach: After a session, she'll sometimes pull out an anatomy book, walk me through stretches, and talk about possible solutions (in my case, better arch support). The conversations I've had with her have helped me practice better body awareness and alleviate future pain! I'd give Rejuvenate six stars, if I could.

Barbara provided both massages in a beautifully decorated room that celebrated Sharon Springs past as a resort town after WWII. Cheryl, the owner, was knowledgable about the area and the history of the town. When I arrived I was invited to the inner waiting area which was nice and warm and served me a delicious loose leaf tea blend. The atmosphere was calming, the staff was easy going and I had plenty of time to relax before we started the massage. Barbara did a fantastic job and made me feel very comfortable and pampered. We really enjoyed the experience and left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. A great plus was that as compared with where we live, the price was about 30% less. I walked in and she greeted me right away and we spent a few minutes going over the forms I filled out online ahead of my appointment. It's easy to see that Liz is very knowledgeable about acupuncture and the human body. She explained what she would do during my appointment and answered all of my questions. Liz - and the relaxing sounds and decor of her office - put me at ease right away. First - acupuncture! She inserted a few needles in my hands, face, and legs, and left me to relax. I thought I would be too alert to fall asleep, but I got used to the feeling of the needles after a moment, and the next thing I knew, Liz was back to remove them. Next - Gua Sha. Liz knew about my tense neck and shoulders and suggested this treatment. I Googled it in advance, so I knew I'd have a lot of red/purple coloring in my neck and back. I am very red, but it's worth it! My neck and shoulders are moving much more freely. I already made my next acupuncture appointment. Liz has a community room where patients can come for acupuncture with a sliding scale payment, which I think is a great idea. I look forward to more acupuncture and massages, too!
