Recently he's teamed up with another of his black belt friends Martin Figueroa and combined schools, this makes for more training partners and multiple black belt instructors to help nail down technique specifics. My son is in the kids class (6 years old) and he really enjoys the work out. My son used to be bullied a little bit but now he easily takes down kids bigger than him and handles them on the ground. It gives him self confidence and makes me worry less now that I know he can handle himself against school yard bullies if need be. I found Master An and he was so welcoming! 30 years older (58) and overweight with a lot of broken parts, he takes what you have left and works with you and your abilities. There are complete families who attend here - mom, dad, kids and have been here for years. Even the kids who have gone off to school always come back here on their breaks to take class. Master An is a wonderful instructor. He is so perfect with the little ones! The kids really seem to enjoy their classes, and you can tell he has so much fun teaching them! This is not a huge school where you are a nobody. Since everyone is at a different level, he gives special attention to each person. Everyone here is very encouraging to each other.
