He talked to me about the types of mattresses and what they do and had me try a number of them that might be suitable for me. He was very patient and helpful. I went home to think about it and went back the next day. It was determined that I probably also needed an adjustable platform because of the type of bedframe I have. That is where Zak came in. Between the two of them, we talked about what I need in the way of a platform and how high it should be. These guys are great to work with and I would recommend Mattress World Northwest in Clackamas to anybody.

My husband had a 20 or so minute love affair with the massage chair, as well, but we'll let that slide hahaha. Our concierge, if you will, at least that's what it felt like, was Zak F. He was so knowledgeable about every single mattress, gave us all of the information that we needed (durability, weight distribution, differences in springs/foam/latex/science) and even more. He took his time answering all of our questions (even though we felt they might be dumb) and thoroughly made sure that we left feeling awesome, even though we still needed to take a bit more time deciding on such a big purchase. He will be fair and honest and really just wants to be the best at what he does, and Holy Crap- he does! We will only ever deal with Zak when we need another mattress...or if Jezebel (massage chair) ends up making my husband and I a throuple. 20/10

Then, I got to the parking lot, and still couldn't find it, so I called again. Same thing, it went to voicemail. Within 30 seconds, the store called back, saying "I see that you called twice, can I help you?" "Yeah, I can't find you." Erin stayed on the phone, and guided me to the store, using landmarks in this huge parking lot. Okay, so I finally get tom the store, and wanted to see the Shiitake X-Chair. Erin it to showed me. It was definitely a mushroom color, but the manufacturer insisted that it was a dark green. Erin started a chat with the manufacturer and sent them a photo. So many people rely on the photos on websites, but what if it's the wrong photo? I asked Erin if she could order a new one from the manufacturer to see what color shows up. "Sure thing!" I would say this is great customer service.

Their salesperson Devin was exceptional and extremely helpful and friendly. We brought in our two kids, and our youngest was antsy from all day shopping..but Devin encouraged them to have some fun while there & even shared stickers! They were very happy & entertained while the adults looked at all the options. Devin explained each mattress type and even showed us their factory in the back where the mattresses are made. Such a cool thing! Who knew mattress shopping could be fun & educational. Devin asked us about our other options we had been looking at, wanting to meet us for our mattress type & budget and wants, and he did just that. We found a great mattress that feels great, and at an amazing price. Even ready for pick up tomorrow! Bonus points for this shopping experience because during the factory tour we learned they make custom mattresses for trailers and I cannot WAIT to come back and have them upgrade the current pile of foam DIY I put together in our camper.

It was loaded from BedMart's warehouse directly into our moving van. When opened in Colorado, the mattress was clearly used. I have photographs taken immediately upon opening and all original receipts. I initially contacted BedMart but was unable to resolve the issue at that time due to my move. I later contacted BedMart again and explained that this is not a warranty issue, but a misrepresentation at the point of sale. Despite this, BedMart referred me to the manufacturer warranty and declined responsibility, citing time elapsed and the mattress being in another state. This complaint concerns the sale of a used product represented as new and BedMart's refusal to provide a reasonable corrective resolution. Requested Resolution: Replacement with a new, firm, queen-size Tempur-Pedic mattress or a fair corrective solution consistent with what was represented at purchase. Documentation Available: Receipts, photographs, and email correspondence.

After talking with multiple customer service reps and salespeople I was unable to get it resolved and each person told me something different. Store credit, refund, partial refund, reselection, return... On and on. It cost me multiple weekends and evenings and an unbelievable amount of stress, on top of the chaos of moving and having to start over shopping for furniture. It finally escalated to the district manager today when I pushed back on the 20% restocking fee. I'm not paying over $300 NOT to have a sofa. They informed me "well clearly you just don't care about the company." Obviously? You're a furniture store?? And you already have the sofa! IN THE PACKAGING.
