Sergio and his crew did a first rate job in removing the old insulation from our attic and spraying the new foam insulation. They were courteous, professional, showed up when they said they would be there and worked hard/smart to provide quality work. They even vacuumed the attic to ensure the job was completed properly. UPDATE....UPDATE....10/26/21…read more For those still considering RL Roofing I wanted to provide you with a updated post. Roughly ONE HOUR after leaving my remarks on the RL Roofing Facebook page, I was contacted by who I assume was Mr.Lunas wife. She was very polite and immediately addressed my concerns with the question "What can we do to fix this?" My reply was the same as the request made months prior to this post. "Come do the job you agreed to do, or at LEAST return my calls and tell me when you will actually be here." None of my requests were met before this post. (1 WEEK) prior to my post, I had contacted Mr.Luna after he failed to call me back on the day he promised. That promise was followed by another let down when he failed to show at my residence on Friday to fix the roof.... Again both of these with NO CALL! I notified his secretary the following week that I would be contacting the BBB to file a complaint. My guess, he believed I wouldn't follow through, and just move on as that seems to be the El Paso way of doing things nowadays. Problem with that is, I stand by my word and my actions, because at the end of the day your word means nothing without action. So what's happened?? ....Saturday morning one man came over to the house climbed up top and rolled the damaged section of our roof with silicone and elastomeric material. None of the previous leak areas were fixed or replaced, they were simply covered. I don't know if this will fix it, only the next big storm will tell. In all it took the man about 2 1/2hrs to do the work, I even came out on the roof and helped him blow the debri off before he started. Now I'm not gonna throw a hissy fit about the paint splatter on my artificial grass, or how the material wasn't put on evenly. Instead I'm just happy someone FINALLY came out to my house and FINALLY addressed my roof which was supposedly under warranty. Sadly it took threats which were perceived as false threats before there was action. So in ending, I still stand by my post, I will not recommend this company to anyone. I have been contacted EVERY DAY since they completed the job and asked if I would please take down my post..... I dont plan on doing that, and I don't plan on having them back on my property as well. Mr.Luna informed me that the recent work would be warrantied, BUT I heard that before and look where it got me. I have lost faith and trust with RL Roofing and refuse to be treated the way I was. I hope this review helps anyone in the future who's considering a roof repair or replacement. My story is just one customers bad experience, I'm sure RL Roofing has plenty of other satisfied customers so don't take my experience as the end all be all. Make your own decision, just be informed. These kind of things happen but when I contacted the owner twice, he has promised to stop by and check and instead doesn't show up. It's definitely a bummer because I was very happy with them in install. (In addition, after making some other minor repairs, they never touched up the paint issues after the initial inspection report) ---------------------------------------------- The team at RL Roofing Systems were professional, courteous and they ran the entire project on time. I had my mother in-law coming to stay with us on a Friday and the team worked extra hours to make sure the house was finished and cleaned up for her stay. They were able to guide me through the entire process when it came to replacing my roof and also when dealing with the insurance company for supplemental issues. I have already recommended them to two of my friends/acquaintances and it looks like they've also had the same wonderful experience.

It took four LONG weeks!…read more They were very affordable, and all started out well, however I constantly had to ask them to go back and do touch ups. I mean the touchups took 2-3 hours every single day. This not an exaggeration. The workers did not clean up very well after each day either. They cleaned their brushes outside, and left my brand new water hose a mess. They did replace it, and I did appreciate that. They had to also replace my daughter's comforter because one of the workers got paint all over it! They also broke 3 wands to my window blinds. There was one worker who just would not stop cussing! It became ridiculous, but the owner did reprimand him. It was quite a bit to go through. I am not the easiest customer to work for. I admit that after four weeks, they wanted to finish as much as I wanted them to finish. I will say however that every single correction that I asked to be done, the owner professionally did so.

The two employees painting the cornice on the top of the house were using a flimsy ladder with one of them holding the ladder from a second story, the employee painting fell, broke my roof tiles and the pop out trim, the sidewalk area where I keep my dogs started chipping within a week before I even put my dogs back, I noticed very large bubbles that started popping and chipping away. Talked to the owner and even though he said he would fix all the problems, I still have broken tiles, chipped driveways and a broken pop outs.

I was shocked to see parts of the roof had inflated into large bubbles, and one of the eaves was pulling away. Of course, it was perfectly flat when installed by A-1 Roofing in 2007, and performed flawlessly over the past 16 years, far beyond the warranty. In fact, despite the grotesque deformation, the marvelous barrier was doing exactly as intended--keeping the wet & exterior climate from intruding into our living space. I was extremely satisfied with that and had no qualms about contacting FELIPE MARTINEZ [915.252.5552; felipea1roofing@gmail.com] for another superior roof. In fact, because the roll roof A-1 had installed on the almost flat ~1800 square foot area had survived as long as it did made it easy for me. I normally would contact several roofers/obtain quotes/compare for the best deal, but the excellent performance of the 2007 roof was all the evidence I needed to have A-1 do it again. Their timing was better than expected, only 2.5 days from the moment their roll-away dumpster was deposited in one half of our driveway until roofers JOSE & JAIME were putting the finishing touches on the stunning hot-mopped/white granulated roof/Sun-averse white painted squares around the vents/swamp cooler jacks, I could see another wise investment in our home. I really appreciated their attention to details like a well-installed/new drip edge along the inside & outside roof perimeter, and constantly cleaning up behind themselves/work area. It was expensive (~$12,500), maybe two or three times as much as the usual hot-mop roll roof (~$4,000; which we've had before with other roofers during our 30+ years here), but those roofs might last a third or a fourth as long, so we're really saving money paying for the extra-special roll roofing. There is no question in my mind that A-1 Roofing definitely has my coveted "¡Wheel of Approval!"

When I first got to know him, he presented himself as somebody that is fiscally responsible and ready to serve as County Commissioner Pct.4. Do yourself a favor, he is not allow him to sweet talk you. He does not keep his word and athe job he has done for me has been shoddy. I am still waiting for him to reply to my BBB complaint (1 week and counting).

About half the roof, along with 7 skylights were damaged. The insurance adjuster just wanted to replace the damage sections but David argued that these tiles were no longer manufactured and any other tile would not match the dimensions or the color. Hence, all of the roof needed replacement. It was a 2100 sf house plus 600 sf garage that required 30 squares of concrete-based hail resistant tiles. They could not do the repair for about 4 months, so a crew was sent to tarp the roof. 4 months later they started, took about a week with an 8 man crew. Result was absolute perfection. Super teamwork and craftsmanship.

I still had to pay over $400 out of my deposit to get the house cleaned again and I had to pay for carpet cleaning as well.
