If I'm completely honest, I was a little annoyed the way I am when amusement parks have ride exits through the gift shop. It was actually alright since we still wanted to find some gifts to bring home to friends and family. After finding some goodies at Maxime's I meandered by Delfonics window. The weirdest thing happened as I pivoted on my heel and fell right inside the store. Must have been a weird gravitational well and that gravitational well is "Andie is a sucker for stationery shops". They had SO many goodies - great journals, stationery supplies, cool Japanese pens, and notepads. Basically it was a dream within a dream. My daughter is also afflicted with stationery store fever. Let's just safely say that we both found memorable items to take home and use daily which reminds of us the magical place that is Delfonics.

If from the US and looking for something for the kids, while this store is full of toys-- it's mostly items that can be found (or are made) in the states. Melissa & Doug and brands of that nature. I was in a pinch needing something for my young boys and did find some pop guns and figurines (that tip over when touched and pop back) for a decent price and they seemed 'French' enough to satisfy me, and hopefully them. Cute store, shop owner was so sweet to us and lots of fun/easy/small things to stow in your luggage for the littles.

Including the gorgeous Nathalie Lete wallpaper! But I came in because of the fantastic looking cartable in the window. My son is starting kindergarten next year and I've been on the hunt for a lightweight wonder bag for him for his first day of school. The French love their cartable, and there are tons of varieties out there, but this shop carries a cool indie brand known for their skateboard bookshelves called Lemons de Choses that has made the PERFECT little cartable -- not to bulky, super lightweight and just the right amount of special flair for school while keeping things serious. But I had to run it by the kid to get his stylistic OK, and that's when I realized how special this place really is. The daughter of this mother-daughter owned shop offered to help me FaceTime with my son by holding up my phone for me to try the bag on for him. Walking around me and getting the right angles and such. Now that's service! I'll be back for other purchases for sure, especially since they also carry the great shelving brand Rose in April thats perfect for kids' rooms.

We lined up about ~10 minutes before the store opened (10am local time) and there was already a short line. Upon opening, each group is paired with a SA. I was paired with Celine B who was literally the most patient, accommodating, and helpful SA that I've had the pleasure of working with. I had a wishlist of what I was interested in and she delivered all of the options! She also assisted my girlfriend and between us, we probably tried on ~30 different things. I didn't feel rushed during our experience at all. Stock was plentiful and there were a lot of classic colors available, as well as a good amount of seasonal and unique colors. The store itself is gorgeous and has tons of mirrors all across the showrooms. Security was also pleasant to us! We were offered water and juice during our experience. There's a good amount of seating areas around the showroom as well. Coco Chanel used to live right above this store! After purchasing, Celine B took several photos of us in front of the OG stairs that led up to the apartment.

They explained that the best they could do was send the phone away, Have the battery replaced, and get it back to me within a week time. Under normal circumstances, this would not have a problem, but I explained I was leaving in two days and I had important material on the phone that I was desperate to preserve. They explained that there was a possibility I could lose the texts and photos, and that the battery could possibly explode ruining the phone. My chances were 50-50. Ultimately after roughly an hour and a half wait I decided to take my phone and chance it making it through a flight home. They explained everything thoroughly, very well, and worked to help me find a solution. I would most definitely recommend this store to any tourists, Americans - English speakers, if you have any Apple needs while you're in the area.
