Horrible. Never order from another country. Fraud. Pylones used to have shop in London, but not anymore. I saw their new collection and ordered many items for my friend's birthday and some of them were for Christmas presents. The total amount of my order with delivery was 122,80 pounds. I placed my order on the 26 of October. Until now - 6 of December I still haven't received anything. It takes a week with the Royal Mail to get anything from France. Pylones sent the parcel with Chronopost and when I tried to track the parcel it was stuck for days without explanation. I wrote to customer service and they replied that they are checking it with Chronopost. Later I wrote to them again because nothing was happening. They told me there is a problem with the label. I was texting again and again trying to find out when I can get the parcel. They said that Chronopost will send it back to them and they will resend it to me with a different courier. They couldn't and wound't send the same parcel to me instead, they are waiting for Chronopost to return it to them and apparently they have no influence over the delivery service they provide. On the 21 for November they texted saying that they will compensate the shipping costs to me, I've got no money from them still and no confirmation that such payment was made. The whole experience is a disgrace. I didn't get the parcel or the money. They keep promising to send it when they will get it back. I will never order from them again. They ruined beautiful surprises I prepared for my friend and I can't afford to spend the same amount of money twice. read more

Pylones is one of those fun shops that has all kinds of unique items for sale. It is the kind of stuff that you will find no where else. There are a number of Pylones around Paris. This one is located in the Carrousel du Louvre, which is the mall attached to the Louvre, so it is easy to find. Once inside the store you will be able to find that unique gift you want to give to someone or that item that you never knew you needed. The staff here (and at all Pylones) are always nice, friendly, and helpful. This is a great place to find those truly unique thing that you probably did not know even existed. read more

This store is unlike no other! They have the most unique pieces for your home or office. I was here last January on a trip and the store was my favorite in Paris. I found so many neat items for my kitchen and bathrooms. I even got some interesting advice from one of the store employees. The prices here are actually mostly reasonable. I also got some really cool reading glaases that I love. I love everything I bought and the quality is great. Everything is in the same shape I bought it in last year. They have some really beautiful reuseable bags. I bought a couple. Now that I think about it I haven't seen them in a while but when I do I will post photos. Pylones is a chain of stores selling cute, whimsical home & gift items. Expect bright colors, fun shapes and quirky designs. I found it to be a great place to buy unique, reasonably priced gifts for people back home. Staff is very friendly and they're very close to the St Paul metro. Loved this store for the quirky and colorful offerings--gifts or unique items for yourself. Wish I could find one of the colorful toasters wired for USA, but here it's for the Europeans. So many fun items for home- kitchen items a plenty with tons of personality. Need a cheese grater shaped like the Eiffel Tower? They have you covered. Need a body puff for shower with a color coordinated girl head on top of it? Again, this is your place. I especially liked a line of items paying homage to a number of major cities and got a purse organizer with the Paris theme that will make me smile every time I use it. This is a great choice for souvenirs that you don't see on every corner. read more

O man!! We can't stop giggling in the store. Everything you see here are colorful, cute, functional and creative!! It's a great place to find the perfect gift. Everything is nicely displayed and color coordinated. Every little items are surprises!! From whimsical pencil sharpeners to panda shape bottled hand cream.. you know you want to spend money here. I couldn't resist the princess and a frog combo hairbrush and mirror that folds up and nestles into my purse, and we had to have a froggy luggage tag for a lttle pal back home. I don't really understand this store. Nothing here is really that practical, but it's amazing. I picked up some 8-bit Space Invaders stickers and mustache erasers. I could blow through many bills on the quirky writing utensils alone. I guess the best way I can describe Pylones is that they sell ordinary items with one-of-a-kind designs. Like an iPhone case shaped like an actual phone handle. You know, the kind on pay phones...if you've seen one lately. It's like a class of third graders designed their own arts & crafts store, and it totally works. This is definitely an overlooked store for souvenirs. read more

You gotta love these shops that have cute and unique stuff. Obviously in Paris, so many French related items and my wife was in love. This shop is very bright in colors and has tons of attractive items. She bought quite a few items and had to go back a few more times! Price is mildly increased, but this is Paris and this is at the Louvre... so I expected it to be a bit more. There were many items I did not see at street stalls or vendors, so depending on how you feel, I'd buy it. -------------------------- My only gripe is that the customer infront of us didn't have her stuff together and she kept asking questions and I can see the staff being annoyed. So many colorful quirky things in this gift shop! This is great if you like -animals - lots of cartoon like animals that are clocks, mugs, bobble heads, combs/brushes -clocks/timers - if you're looking for one of those classic alarm clocks that ring with a bell this is great for that. I even saw some really fun timers if you find yourself needing a cooking timer or maybe if you're trying out pomodoro -bright colors - amazing place for a splash of color!! I love the store and their products. And unlike another yelper, I found the prices to be extremely reasonable especially when having to buy souvenirs for friends and family back home. I picked up some colorful whimsical pocket mirrors for some of the ladies, and they loved them...keep them in their purses all the time. Some of the products are very practical, others not so much. They keep adding to their product line using their wonderful bright graphic prints for other items such as scarves, make-up bags, purses, clutches, smart phone covers, pencil cases, hair pins etc. Everything is fun and quirky and being in the store surrounded by all this just puts a smile on your face. I lost one of my pocket mirrors and found one on Amazon, but had to pay twice the price. So if you find yourself in one of their stores, especially in Paris, don't wait to buy something. read more

Except for the clerk who grabbed me and said "No pictures" - who knew? - we loved this store. There is so much to look at and so many appealing, fun and funky items that you could spend a lot of time here. We were in the shopping center under the Louvre to find the Apple Store and stumbled onto Pylones. We ended up buying gifts because it was hard to resist. Prices are high. read more

The massive color array is like a Disney store. Fun stuff, had to buy the 'lady' grater whose skirt is a grater and some fun pens and Eiffel Tower scissors. It's fun to browse. Creativity gone mad. Quirky stuff and brought a smile to my face. Reasonable prices. read more
