They do have a cozy reading room at the back. I spent a good 20 minutes there. They also have a used book collection at a reasonable price in the reading room. It's not a large store, so the book collections are understandably limited, but it is a great store nevertheless. The store owner was friendly. Stop by here; it's a great way to support your neighborhood small business.

My daughter picked the bookstore. When we walked in, the store was full of books and books on tape. We looked around for a bit my daughter finally found the area for the genre that she liked. We were able to find several books for my 14 year old. The books are all well priced. We actually picked up for they were listed 4 for $20. Located in Market Commons in Myrtle Beach, SC near the Stone movie theatre and other eateries nearby and within walking distance. We were actually walking from Kings Grille that was about 3 blocks away. Decided to look in here because I love to find a nice book to read. They had a lot of books from romance to steven king to biographies,cookbooks, magazines and more! They also have music cds, vinyls, and dvds for purchasing. Upon looking, I found The Wicked Soundtrack of the original broadway show, and decided upon getting it. I also was looking for a Percy Jackson series books- I think trials of Apollo- and all those books were in the kids section with the Harry Potter Books and Goosebumps. For kids, they also have lots of toys and jigsaw puzzles. An unique thing to Barnes and Noble is that they also had tons of Harry Potter items- such as legos where one can build the scenes of the movies, and various shirts too. I couldn't find trials of Apollo though, but it's okay! Store was clean and organized. Went to the front to pay for the Wicked Soundtrack. Hardly a line, Cashier was pleasant- paid with cash and the total was $13.00 for the cd! Got accurate change. Oh and they also have a starbucks here plus a cafe to sit down and read, and wifi too! For some reason, I was blocked out from the internet. I went to the person behind the desk and was told that I had to join your club and then put my phone number in. Why would I join your club when there are no Books-A-Million in my area where I live. I was able to go outside, get the title of the book, but then decided that you did not deserve my business so I left. You are located in a mall where most of the stores have shut down. You would think that you would make it easier for people visiting your state and your store to spend their money at your business. Would I come back here? No, it's worth the drive to go to Barnes And Noble. And that's the way it is.

Random gem in the middle of nowhere, and it's amazing!…read more Went on a Saturday morning to look and the sheer number of books was phenomenal. There were so many genres and so many authors! My favorite part of it was looking at the old books that had beautiful bindings and leather covers. They have great prices for the books that you get and some of the titles there were relatively recent. Because they are used books I wouldn't expect any new releases to be there but you could find some great classics at a great price! The organization is a little bit confusing, but if you look up, there are a ton of signs everywhere directing you to each genre and certain authors. The service was super great as well, and we were welcome as soon as we walked in by multiple employees. Will definitely be bringing my cousin and boyfriend back eventually as it has some great items.
