The Southern gentleman that owns the place, he's a super guy, and I believe is in his 90s. They have just about everything you need for hunting game, target shooting or just for protection. You would never know that this little hardware store in Butler Georgia would have such a wonderful gun and ammo supply. I did not leave a perfect score as I've had two gun purchases up here that left me a bit unsatisfied. The Girsan .45 I purchased would not feed with the included magazines and I had to take it back to have it worked on. I purchased a 92X at above the typical street price and received two 10 round mags, lower capacity than what Beretta offers new in box and one fewer to boot. The biggest issue I had was the magazines wouldn't lock in tight enough to catch the mag release and could be pulled out without pressing it. An unusual issue I remedied by buying replacement mags and filing down the baseplates on what was included. I visited today at just after 10am and found the store was closed despite the store hours on the door showing they opened at 9am. Life happens, and I'm sympathetic to family owned small businesses considering my family owns one too, but it's something to remember if you're travelling longer distances to get here. It's always best to call ahead. This all being said, Evolved is a great FFL with cheap fees and they process paperwork quick. This is a great gun store, just be careful buying new or pre owned firearms, as you probably ought to be no matter what gun store you visit.
