After discussing the product with them in detail I now realize that my rating was unfair to this business. Really expansive list of Yeti and backpacking and kayak equipment, etc. Clothing areas are separated out pretty nicely and have areas for men's, women's and children active wear. If you check between the aisles you'll find discount racks that can be as much as 90% off. For me, Dick's can be kind of hit or miss, and that may have swayed the review a little bit, but this location actually had some stuff that I was interested in (and bought). Shoes are in the back of the store and are a level above what you'll find at Academy. Store is clean and staff were all friendly - Really no complaints. Great location - if you're looking for active wear and outdoor gear this is a good place to check out.

They actually had what I was looking for and the price was reasonable for today's standards. They held it at the counter while I looked around the store. When I was ready check out was friendly and quick. Talked with me a few minutes when I asked a few questions and made sure I had all the info that I needed and made sure they answered my questions. Offered to put stuff on hold if I changed my mind and called them later. Good experience and I would return to shop here again.

The workers seemed to be more concerned about gossiping about their morning than providing information. Also, I do not believe I received my cash discount that used to be available all the time. Since this company has been bought out or taken over by GLOCK it seems as though it is just another typical corporate business. I do not get the small town welcoming feeling when I walk in the door.
