As a result of posting I was contacted by the business to get additional feedback from me and to see if they could be of further assistance to me. After discussing the product with them in detail I now realize that my rating was unfair to this business. I should have given them the benefit of doubt because I have purchased products from them in the past and I have never had an issue with anything I purchased. Really expansive list of Yeti and backpacking and kayak equipment, etc. Clothing areas are separated out pretty nicely and have areas for men's, women's and children active wear. If you check between the aisles you'll find discount racks that can be as much as 90% off. For me, Dick's can be kind of hit or miss, and that may have swayed the review a little bit, but this location actually had some stuff that I was interested in (and bought). Shoes are in the back of the store and are a level above what you'll find at Academy. Store is clean and staff were all friendly - Really no complaints. Great location - if you're looking for active wear and outdoor gear this is a good place to check out.

Stopped in here real quick to see if they had some ammo that I had been looking for…read more Employees were friendly and greeted me when I came through the door and asked if they could help me find anything. They actually had what I was looking for and the price was reasonable for today's standards. They held it at the counter while I looked around the store. When I was ready check out was friendly and quick. Talked with me a few minutes when I asked a few questions and made sure I had all the info that I needed and made sure they answered my questions. Offered to put stuff on hold if I changed my mind and called them later. Good experience and I would return to shop here again.

When the cashier was asked when the ammo might come in, all I got was a shrug and "I don't know". The workers seemed to be more concerned about gossiping about their morning than providing information. Also, I do not believe I received my cash discount that used to be available all the time. Since this company has been bought out or taken over by GLOCK it seems as though it is just another typical corporate business. I do not get the small town welcoming feeling when I walk in the door. By the way, they were late opening the gate this morning as well. I now have doubts about buying my ammo from this store any longer, and I hear the same from many of my friends and family members.
