I have a very specific style and he was able to create a stair rail system based on my inspiration photos. Toros was great at communicating (even when I was on vacation and had very limited cell service), gave perfect recommendations, and answered all of my questions. The rail was made quickly for our timeline and installed in just a few hours. Installation day went smoothly and his staff were great! Very professional and took all the care necessary. We are absolutely thrilled by the final product and the way it fits perfectly in our stairway. It's exactly what I wanted and pictured. I can't wait to show all our friends and family. I highly recommend Toros and his work. The price was also excellent and he worked within our budget.

JRC's Jesse promptly arrived, carefully measured the space, and took many notes on my design. JRC's final estimate was very detailed, and the cost was exactly what I had expected between the other estimates I'd received. I put down 50%, and Jesse said it should take 4-6 weeks. Everything was going well until I realized it was the beginning of June and I hadn't heard from Jesse in 8 weeks. After my calls went unreturned, I emailed JRC's Director of Operations, Stephanie, who replied, "Jesse said he and one of our welders are working on your order, and you can expect completion in about a week. By Monday, we should have a better scope of exact install dates." After still not hearing from Jesse by the end of June, I reached out to Stephanie again for an update, who reported, "Our welder said he expects himself to be done tomorrow. We will be sending it to be powder coated, which just takes a day or 2." Another 3 weeks later in mid-July, with no installation date scheduled, I got a last-minute call explaining that they just had a cancellation and that they could install it today if I was available. Arnie arrived within the spontaneously scheduled window and got right to work installing the gate and meticulously making sure it was exactly right. He even hauled away the heavy old gate, which was very much appreciated. In the end, I'm very happy with the final build and installation, but JRC's communication leaves much room for improvement. I'd reached out to Jesse on a few occasions, and it took weeks to get a single response. A simple message that things were moving slower than expected or that it was going to take 12 weeks instead of 4-6 would have gone a long way. Also, having an actual installation date versus a last-minute cancellation that I could fill for them would have improved the overall process. Thankfully, Arnie left a very strong and professional last impression, as did Stephanie for her prompt and repeated replies. I only wish I didn't have to manage the project after all the missed milestones and awkward radio silences.

The next day he arrived at my house to discuss the projects, do the measurements, and give me a quote. As of today, Andres has done a total of 3 projects for me. I wanted metal side gates for both sides of my house. One is to replace the old and weathered wooden gate, and the other one is to add extra security to the side of my house where the bedroom windows are located. I showed Andres the design I wanted, and he was able to transform my vision into reality. The turnaround time was only two weeks. Today, more than four years after Andres' team had completed the work, the side gates are still looking fantastic!! We did black powder coating on all 3 projects. This process truly helps the gates to look as good as new for many years to come. I am extremely pleased with what Andres and his team have delivered. Andres' son came to my house to do the welding and installations. He's a true professional. He was able to complete the projects in a timely manner. The third project was a custom design security door for the back of my house. I sent Andres the photo of what I wanted, and again his team was able to create what I asked for. I absolutely love love love this door. Even after 4 years, it's still looking perfect!! This project took a lot longer, over 2.5 months to complete. Keep in mind that this was during the pandemic in January 2022. In the end, I was truly satisfied with the results, so it was definitely worth all the wait. Great Work and Fair Pricing! Highly Recommend Paul's Iron Works!…read more We hired Paul's Iron Works to repair our church's commercial dumpster enclosure gate in Walnut, CA; which had become crooked and could no longer close properly. Paul and his team replaced all four hinges, made the necessary adjustments to realign the gate, installed a new lockable center latch, and applied rust-resistant primer to protect the repaired areas. The entire job was completed for a reasonable price of $1,200, including labor and materials. We're very happy to have our gate functioning properly again, with improved security to help prevent unauthorized dumping. We appreciate Paul's workmanship and the practical, cost-effective repair solution instead of having to replace the entire gate. The project was completed quickly and at the quoted price. Although this was not the lowest quote we received, Dmitrii's honesty during the consultation phase helped earn our trust. He was right: we consulted a masonry expert who confirmed that the stucco would not have lasted long on that surface, and it would've been a waste of money. Other fence companies were willing to do the stucco work and didn't alert us to the need for a masonry expert.) We will be coming back to HandyMaestro for our future fence projects.
