Our FLYNYON experience August 15, 2023, was VERY disappointing. I have asked for a refund 4 times. It has been 11 months. I have yet to get any response from FLYNYON whatsoever. Any business with integrity would have apologized and issued a refund. Buy your tickets from another company and have a wonderful experience. I purchased 2 seats with FLYNYON at $590.00 each. 30 minute sunset tour. Both seats were supposed to be "Guaranteed shoe selfie with Doors off and Unobstructed view." See attached sales brochure and pictures of our seats. When we arrived at the FLYNYON office, staff verbally confirmed that we both have "Guaranteed shoe selfie seats with Doors off and Unobstructed view. We will be able to turn are bodies at a 90' angle when the pilot says it is OK and we can hang our feet out to take shoe selfies." Then different staff vanned us to another location. Then we walked a distance to the helicopter pad. Then the helicopter pilot tells everyone their seat assignment. When we noticed my son got a crappy seat with a POCKET DOOR, and not a Guaranteed Shoe Selfie Seat with Doors Off and unobstructed view, I brought this to the pilots attention. "Our seat assignment was not what I paid for. My seat was fine. My sons seat was all wrong." The pilot said "the office staff assigns the seats and he has no authority to change the seats." We could have booked with any helicopter company if we didn't care about GUARANTEED SHOE SELFIE, DOORS OFF, AND UNOBSTRICTED VIEW. I paid a total of $1,180.00 for two seats. $590.00 each. This ruined our whole experience. I have asked FLYNYON 4 times for a refund for the POCKET DOOR seat. FLYNYON does not care about our experience, they only care that they got our money. If they had any integrity, the first time I called to express our experience, they would have apologized and issued a refund for the POCKET DOOR seat. Buy tickets from another company. read more

Took a 24 minute doors off private flight with pilot Chris with a young couple I hosted from Russia. The whole process was seamless from start to finish, from the cool warehouse space to the shuttle and then of course the flight. Every detail was taken care of, every staff member was friendly and enthusiastic. You are able to use your own phone to take pics, and they come out amazing. Wear decent shoes if you plan to stick your legs out, and maybe tan those pasty legs if you haven't been out in the sun much lol The helicopters seemed to all seat six people, and there was a wide cross section of customers. I'd advise getting a private flight and bringing your own friends so you can set the tone you want without crashing someone else's vibe or vice versa. Also 24 minutes was about enough, any longer and I would have gotten queasy. The scenery looks like a video at first and its fine, but after a few times sticking my feet out the open door at 100mph, the reality that your ass is flying 1200' off the ground kicked in and I found myself white knuckling it lol read more

I'm so glad I chose to do this! The highlight of my stay in NYC for sure. I booked the tickets on their website and was able to get 60% off the prices. They usually have some sale going on so make sure to look into that before purchasing. I picked a date that would be clear so I wouldn't have to buy the weather insurance. I also didn't buy the guarantee that you'll be at the side doors but I got lucky and got the best seat as the copilot! If you don't purchase the guarantee, the computer generates the seating for everyone based on weight and no one can change that for you. So if you really want to make sure you get side seats to stick your feet out, maybe purchase the guarantee. You also have the option to rent cameras but I brought mine. You can bring along one phone and one camera per person. They provide straps to secure your devices to your neck so you don't drop them in the air! Read the confirmation CAREFULLY. You have to get there one hour and 15 min before your flight or you might lose your place. I would also recommend checking your emails the day before to see if they changed your flight time or anything. When I got there, they had delayed my reservation an hour later, and I was a little surprised Bc I didn't see their email the day before but they also didn't confirm with me or anything. It's fine though, it upgraded my reservation to the sunset time which is more expensive when purchasing and it was absolutely beautiful. But had they moved my reservation earlier, I would've missed my flight! So check your emails!!! I originally booked for 16-19 minutes doors off, but the guy at the desk convinced me to upgrade to 30 min and I'm glad I did! 30 min didn't even seem enough. The total came out to be around $240. The views are mesmerizing. I would do it again the next time I'm in NY. The pilot was super nice and did a great job flying! No turbulence and I felt very safe. He also referred to me as copilot which made me feel nice He takes the helicopter all over NYC and makes sure everyone on both sides get a good view of everything. Gave us plenty of time to take videos and pictures! I was worried I was going to be cold up there and the staff kindly offered both my sister and me a heated jacket for free! My upper body wasn't cold but when you stick your legs out, it will be cold for sure! And because of the wind pressure, it kind of hurt a little. So I wanted to surprise a friend on his birthday and I wanted it to be one that he will remember forever!!! - He is a very good friend of mine ;) - I wanted it to be different and unique. I purchased 2 vouchers with a promo code that they had that day (70% off). However I ended up paying double because I wanted the 30 min ride with guarantee shoe selfie seats which I DID NOT GET it when I flew. They told me that " passengers are seated based on weight and balance" but when I paid for the upgrade the told me that they will guarantee me and my friend a place on the side of the aircraft so I could take "unobstructed shoe-selfies." They seat me next to the pilot so I couldn't take pictures with my friend. This was really annoying and disappointing, they shouldn't make you pay more and promise things that they can't do it. On the other hand, fly above NYC is an amazing experience that everyone should do once in a lifetime. People (mostly young ) were kind and helpful, very patience and calm. This was my 3rd time flying on a helicopter and we absolutely loved our experience with FlyNyon! Out of all the pilots that I have flown with (Oahu, Las Vegas, and now NY), Jeremy was by far the absolute best. He took the time to turn the bird around at every single landmark so that everyone on the flight could get the best view and snap some pics. He also flew into the city low at first, stopped at the sights, then flew super high for an incredible birds-eye view. The thrill of a lifetime! Highly recommend. *I do want to say that our flight was scheduled for 11am but we didn't fly till 1:30pm but they did this for our safety so it didn't bother us to wait read more

Por lo tanto mi experiencia no fue tan buena, me sentí mal y que de las 6 personas que íbamos yo había sido la única que no estaba recibiendo lo pagado. Se Que no te puedes quejar porque ya pone que si quieres asegurarte pagues un extra, pero parece un poco injusto que de los 5 de atrás solo 1 no tenga lo que anuncian. A "Must" for anyone visiting New York....as a professional photographer and aviation enthusiast this was, in my book, a perfect day. Even if you've been to the area multiple times (as I had), experiencing from the air was a surreal experience. Colleen was a great help with scheduling/check-in, Kevin was absolutely awesome in getting me harnessed up and briefed on safety, and Sean was a fantastic pilot....one of the best heli pilots I've flown with..... Breaking this review down into two sections, suggestions and a summary of my experience. Suggestions; -Leave your hotel EARLY if you're staying in Manhattan. Keep in mind, the departure facility is a good little trip outside of Manhattan and it takes time to get there any day of the week. Allow for extra time for this. -Check-In must occur 1hr 15min prior to your flight....major airlines don't hold flights for people and neither do (or should) these guys. It's your responsibility as a passenger to be on time. If you see you're gonna be late, whether 2 Minutes or 20 Minutes, communicate with FlyNyon! Cannot stress this enough. -Dress appropriately. My flight occurred on somewhat of an unusually cold March day. I had gloves and multiple layers on that made the 30-Minute flight manageable but everyone else on-board were very cold by the flight's conclusion. -Watch for FlyNyon to offer sales/discounts throughout the year. Pay attention to their social media feeds and you can discover some really great pricing for flights. -If you've never flown in a helicopter, especially with doors off, take the time to watch some youtube videos to gain a better understanding of the way things happen. While I'm used to doing this regularly, I could see people who aren't used to this being in for a bit of a "shock" of being out in the open...(it's a magical feeling!) My Trip Summary; The experience I had was great! Originally, I was scheduled to go up on a doors-off 30-Minute flight at 9AM, however, due to abnormally cold temperatures, I was informed around 15 Hours in advance that my flight time would need to be changed. I received multiple emails to grab my attention to this and was able to be shifted onto an afternoon flight of 3PM (If I had been unable to change, I was offered flight credits toward the same flight within the next 365 days). I chose to utilize an Uber to the facility from Manhattan....as with anything in the NYC though, we encountered heavy traffic exiting one of the tunnels and soon realized I would be 3-5 minutes late for my check-in time. I texted FlyNyon and communicated this and they were quick to let me know all was still good and to keep them posted. After a smooth and swift check-in, went through my safety briefing, and awaited the flight. As I was about to harness up, I was informed the flight I was scheduled on (at 3PM) was full and because other passengers had paid-up for better vantage points, the FlyNyon staff offered for me to wait for the next departure (around 3:50PM) to have the best possible vantage point for shooting photography (note, that I was carrying two Sony full-frame professional body cameras). My schedule allowed and I was appreciative of the staff for offering me this option as I was more than happy to wait in order to capture better photo results. Ended up getting geared up and escorted over for the flight within the next hour and had an absolute blast. Flight was great, our pilot put me in ideal positions to capture the images I was hoping to get, and I was thrilled to have taken the time to do this experience. If you're thinking about doing this, don't think....go DO it. As mentioned before, I will definitely be doing this again when I'm in NYC. read more

1.We ordered the "Buy Now Schedule Laters", but we were charged the booking fees twice while reserving our seats for the flight. Why are there duplicated charges for a single seat? 2.We purchased the "Shoe-Selfie Seat Guarantee", but my seat was totally inside the cockpit and blocked my whole leg, I couldn't put my leg outside of the seat (and I don't think anyone could!). The pilot said either I can leave or stay, because he cannot remove the window, but I didn't mean the window should be removed, it's the "Shoe-Selfie Seat Guarantee" seat you've sold to me. The seat behind the pilot was not able to provide a Shoe-Selfie! The "Guarantee" was like a trick that they were making a fool of the customer, this is UNACCPTABLE! The seat should NOT be a "Shoe-Selfie Seat Guarantee" that marks the price. 3.We paid over $793 for a single seat(including the Shoe-Selfie Seat Guarantee which actually was NOT a Shoe-Selfie Seat), but two guys were in the same flight said they only paid around $380 for each of the seats, on which they can put the legs outside of the helicopter. The views on the helicopter isn't worth the hassle of dealing with the company/customer service. In sum, paid for the 'sunset experience' but didn't get that. Arrived well in advance (2 hrs prior when they recommended 1 1/2 hrs), was prepped, and as it got close to sunset time--my group was informed we're lucky and get the 'blue hour' so we would get sunset as well as blue hour. Our group agreed and then we continued to wait. They took a massive group ahead of us (in 4 helicopters) and we were left waiting. Upon arriving at the hanger, we had to continue to wait as the sun set. There was essentially no more sun at that point and we had to continue to wait. When we lead to the helicopters, we were paraded around 3 helicopters before they made us turn around again to the first helicopter. By the time we were up in the sky, there was no more sunset. They didn't give us an extension of time or give us an option of that since they were running behind. After we landed, we were essentially stranded at the helipad waiting for someone to pick us up. The pilot left and just told us to wait. The group attempted to call the company number and it went straight to VM. We were just waiting in the dark at the hanger with no way of communicating w/ the staff. Eventually we flagged down a fuel tank but he also couldn't help since the van that was left there didn't have a key and we were gated inside the hanger. THIS IS A LIABILITY ! 20 mins later, after walking around the hanger trying to get help, we were able to get through the phone lines and the the person was shocked that no one was there. They said to speak to Kiara about it. Once back inside, I spoke to Kiara and she gave me her card and stated the company doesn't allow refunds and can ONLY offer another voucher. She stated we should have been informed about the delay and that they were down a helicopter so we had to wait--NO ONE INFORMED US OF SUCH UNTIL AFTER THE FACT! Kiara insisted that we'd get an email by end of day and I'm still waiting. I also reached out and still nothing. Don't bother with this company nor the experience. What you're left with dealing isn't worth it. Side note: the whole group (6 of us in total) were all promised different experiences --one couple was promised the empire state building and another wanted the doors on experience and they pushed them to our flight. Spend your money elsewhere considering you'll probably have to rent a car to even get to this location, pay for tolls, and hearing about all the credit card fraud that may happen afterwards--NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. read more

First off I have nothing but very nice things to say about this company. Before I ever took off I had to cancel and reschedule twice (i did not purchase weather insurance or insurance at all for anyone wondering) i simply read their FAQ and followed their prompts for how to reschedule without penalty. Secondly, i arrived early (again reading is important) However just steps from the door my camera strap broke and my camera came slamming to the ground (thankfully only destroying the extra battery pack, sparing the lens- i was very upset before entering, eventually got the camera to turn back on) when telling them the situation they let me borrow a strap for the flight. (ALL THIS before flight, excellent service) it took them about 3 seconds to check me in and if you actually do the waiver and watch the short safety video before arriving (at home) you wont have to do it there, again read the instructions. They have a very posh waiting area where you can buy drinks snacks and coffees while you wait as well as videos on tvs to watch detailing each focus flight to watch while you wait. You can also purchase some dope merch or upgrade your flight there! Everyone is given a safe mount for their phones which they mount for you and they give you a really quaint safety harness that again, they will help you in and out of. The people running this place are excellent Theres a short van trip to the launch site its actually really cute. They take you to your assigned spot and helicopter and away you go. The sights and views are unmatched and as for people in other reviews saying these flights are "noise pollution" i hope they realize where they reside... the last flight is literally 8:55pm and thats within fair time so noise complaints are silly, especially if they didnt actually fly. So anyone writing a bad review im confused if they were writing one because they actually took this flight or if they just don't enjoy others having fun. This was in fact both amazing, and affordable! As for people writing about a monthly charge? This did not occur with me and ive had these reservations over two months. If it does ill be updating this review, but I don't see this happening why would they magically sign you up for hidden fees? Also its not noted anywhere on their website and i booked directly with them. So im not sure where people are getting this information from (which did concern me for awhile but it never happened to me) as per not being able to get anyone on the phone. I can attest to this thats true, however i know my way around a phone (did sales for too many years in my youth) and did manage to get someone on a phone but its not really the best work around. Just email them (again read the instructions) seriously, they do get back to you each and every time (again i had to reschedule twice-no issues). I absolutely adored the two gentlemen who escorted us to my assigned helicopter and my pilot was brilliant. (I was having an off day so i do not recall names but i will update here when i book again) I took a sunset flight and enjoyed every moment and I will be booking again for a daytime flight as I am someone who takes photos often and want both focus flights eventually. We had a few hiccups traveling to the location, but the experience was all worth it in the end! The staff was accommodating with us through our rescheduling. Our pilot, Roy, was fun and made our voyage fun. The drive from NYC to New Jersey is worth is, just ensure to give yourself enough travel time to arrive AHEAD of time for your appointment. The experience was TOP NOTCH and I would take the flight again. I really thought this would be a super positive experience. When you leave you don't feel like you got your moneys worth. There are 6 seats! SIX! So someone gotta sit in the middle. -One seat next to pilot -Two seats (back to back with pilot with Wall btwn) -3 seats (looking same direction as the pilot) The three people and two people are face to face with each other. Where three seats are ... the person sitting in the middle has the sh**tiest shots... since people on both sides will be in the way. The best thing to do is just enjoy the experience. But!!! This is a company focused on photos... The two seater side.. doesn't leave much room to stick your feet out. If you do, it's at an awkward angle. BIG TIPS: -bring sunglasses -prepare for -best seats are IMO: copilot, behind Copilot, and behind pilot via wind blockage. So you also cannot bring a gimbal, that's an anti shake device. You can rent a camera there to get some decent photo shots. It's sooo hard to stick your feet out because of the wind, seatbelt, and the positioning. Other reviews talked about your pilot assigning seats, I think the reason for that is to balance out the weight. When you put your camera out there's sooo much shake via wind. They always want you to upgrade to the 30 minute. It's worth it, you see much more. I know it's expensive, so personally that's the best way to get the bang for your buck. This was my second trip to NYC and WOW what an absolutely amazing experience! The views of the city were unbelievable and it's a memory made that I'll never forget. Hands down the highlight of our trip! Check in was easy, and the staff was super accommodating throughout the process. They helped us put our safety harnesses on, reviewed the safety procedures with us, and answered any questions the group had. I felt super safe and secure the entire ride.. even with my feet dangling in the air!! (Such a freaking cool feeling!) The pilot was awesome.. he'd tell us when we were about to fly by iconic NYC views and made sure we saw everything we wanted to see. We did the 30 min flight and every minute of it was incredible. FlyNYON is by far the worst experience I've ever had with a tour company. They scammed me into paying extra for a longer flight with access to restricted areas, knowing they were off-limits due to Trump being in town. Then, they switched my sunset flight to a night flight with just a 24-hour warning--way too late to do anything about it! It was pitch black, freezing, and miserable. Other passengers have had the same issues--rude staff, rescheduled flights, and no refunds. The manager even had the nerve to say, 'Well, I like the night flight better.' What a joke. "Dear FLYNEON team! Why requests to fix my paid in full "schedule later" reservation are ignored for over a month? You can't edit an email connected to my vouchers, you can't create new account and transfer it there, you can't cancel it, you can't send it as a gift when I ask for it. I'm asking for help with my reservation I have no access to and can get an answer "Your order is confirmed" like if your support doesn't even read what I'm writing. "Since it is a holiday weekend the team that works on that is not in and will transfer as soon as they are back in the office." - Is you team on 4th July weekend for 2 weeks? I am not your new customer and really liked how you treated me few years ago. Even though, your prepaid back transfer took me to completely another part of Brooklyn. But thats okey. I'm fine with it. This time was surprised how different you are. By the way, your flights are not cheap. I've spent about 1000$ for this one and really regret. Purchased: 16-Minute Doors-Off NYC Experience Flight for One Person; Valid Weekdays Only on Groupon (~$140 with discount) Aya's take: After purchasing the Groupon, you have to then call/email them to make a reservation for a specific time. You can see what times/dates are available on their website, so double check that first to see what is still available. They ask you to arrive 1.25 hours before your flight time but prepare to wait even longer than that. It's not as organized or as structured as they should be. The only thing we did the hour before was watch a safety video which honestly could have been sent beforehand along with the waiver to reduce wait times. After that, they call you to then move onto another line where they strap you in, take your phone to add a hand-holder case, and then wait for the van to take you and your group to the helicopter. Once you get to the helicopter (by this point, it was way past our appointment time so make sure you allocate plenty of time for this), every person/group is given a photo opportunity in front of the helicopter. They don't necessarily rush you but this takes about 10-20 minutes. After that, you are told where to sit on the helicopter (based on weight) and then you are on your way. The 16-minute ride was beautiful and being a New York native, it was awesome to see the city from a different view. The weather is perfect and I got amazing pictures. I would actually recommend the 30-minute ride if you get a good deal. Overall, the whole experience probably takes 3-4 hours from start to finish. Everyone from the front desk Alex who made sure our reservation was in and informed his staff members we was ready for our helicopter doors off ride. Danny made sure we view our safety video then walked us to put all our personal items and purse in our lockers. Colloen who assisted Danny with putting on our safety equipment was super helpful and friendly. Staff had such great hospitality and was very patient with us. We really wanted to give each staff person who helped us during our visit a tip but they informed us the only tip they could receive is good views. What an AMAZING experience. Me my brother and his girlfriend had a scheduled helicopter tour today at 5pm and we went over 2 hours prior . The front desk girl was so nice and friendly from the first moment, her name was Christina ( don't judge me if I spelled it wrong lol ) she welcomed us and she showed us a safety video about the flight . Then the other girl on the other desk which I missed her name she was also super nice even thought she told me to stop with my jokes lol and she convinced us to go on an off doors tour even though we had booked the one with the doors on which I am glad we listened to her because it definitely worth it . Then there was more nice staff that helped us to get ready for the flight and make us feel comfortable , the older gentleman runs the show . They transferred us where the helicopters are taking off and we met our pilot , a really nice young man who also made us feel comfortable with the whole experience since it was our first time flying with helicopter and especially with no doors on ! The whole experience was JUST AMAZING the only part that I messed up with was the fact that they told us to leave everything back in the locker rooms and I totally forgot to get some cash to tip the pilot . Purchased the 30 min doors-off NYC experience and enjoyed the flight overall, but had to take the rating a few stars down because despite paying extra for a guaranteed shoe selfie seat, I was placed in one that was obstructed by the frame and window of the aircraft. It was difficult to get my legs out and it felt more like a closed door experienced just based on the seating on the helicopter. While the overall experience was positive I would say it was a let down not being able to fully experience the open door setting. I understand the importance of weight distribution, but there should have been some type of notice to anyone purchasing that one of the seats is more closed door than it is open else what's the point of me paying extra? read more

Hard to take photos when one of you gets a middle seat that you can't even see out of the helicopter from. Interestingly NO mention of it on the website or in any promotional material. I flew on Dec 1st and it was amazing! Came out here for vacation and was no disappointed! I had an issue when I made the purchase and they fix it right away and even helped me book my sunset spot! Not sure why there are so many negative reviews, as the experience I had with my family was fantastic. I booked the 30 minute doors off experience and it was great. There were two other girls on the flight with my mother and I, which we were fine with. Plenty of space with 4 people plus the pilot. It was a bit chilly up in the air (we went at the beginning of may), so it would be smart to dress according to the temperature. Our pilot was wonderful, the staff who gave us the safety briefing, and the staff that attached all of our harnesses were great. We had booked & payed for the doors off flight and was changed to doors on with only an email notice 3hrs before that we didnt see until after check in. Staff was rude and gave us no alternatives to switching to doors off. Just saying it was our fault. When we did pay for it in the first place. So i payed for doors off and was forced to have the doors on. Dumb. read more

Okay I'm starting off by acknowledging my awesome experience may not be everyone's experience based on how they are seated on the flight, as evidenced by the 5 and 1 stars reviews on here. My anxiety was high that I would be placed in the middle seat or the mini window seat for the door-off experience. Luckily my friend and I got to fully experience what we paid for. Now on to the review. I bought two door-off 'buy now, fly later' tickets. After my friend and I decided on a day to go on the flight, I attempted to book online. The reservation kept asking me to pay for the booking fee even though I already paid for it when I bought the tickets. This is where the one less star come in. I called the company and explained. I had to forward my confirmation purchase email to them to prove I already paid the booking fee (I'm not sure why they didn't see it on their computer). After that was resolved, the staff completed my reservation. I was instructed to arrive 1 hour 15 minutes before our 12pm flight. My friend and I arrived 2 hours before our flight (we were being extremely cautious thus we got there too early). The waiting area is big, spacious, and clean. We were weighed and instructed to watch a safety video. After that we sat in the waiting room chatting. We noticed everyone who arrived the same time as us were taken to the back to get ready. One of the staffs called us over and asked about reservation. Then of course he offered the upgrade at a discounted price. My friend and I had already talked about it before getting there that we will decline any upgrade because it would not be guaranteed that we will not get a middle seat or that mini window seat. After that we were taken to the back. Once again my friend and I were just sitting there and everyone else was getting ready. We were finally called on and realizing they needed to suit us. Not sure why they kept forgetting us. But after that everything went smoothly. When the seat assignments were given, my friend and I scream of happiness we got the seat we wanted. Our poliet was super nice. He asked what was the primary scenery we wanted to see. The other passenger said Statue of Liberty and I said Brooklyn Bridge. So those two areas were heavily focused on during the flight to get good pictures. We also saw Battery Park, Ellis Island. All the staffs were friendly. If I was rating only the views I would give this place 5 stars but the reason for my 4 stars is the poor customer service from half of the staff that I encountered. It was a pleasure to meet Akim, he was super friendly & funny with everyone which made the experience very pleasant. Another gentleman who's name I do not know but had a spider web tattoo on his neck was also very nice! Other 2 people that I encountered were the exact opposite. The person that did the check in for us looked so miserable and was complaining to his coworkers (right in front of us) about the number of flights that were scheduled for that time... which I found very rude. Another gentleman who was helping us put our harnesses on was also rude and being a smart ass to myself and a couple that was also flying. He was putting my harness on very quickly and it made me nervous because I felt like he wasn't taking his time to ensure my safety & when I told him something he made a smart comment something like "I've put more harnesses on that you can imagine, you should be excited for your experience" in a sarcastic tone. Our pilot was veryyy nice I believe his name was Tyler. I really enjoyed flying with him. Due to the customer service at the location I am not thrilled about doing this again BUT the views were really great during the sunset flight. read more

I had signed up for doors off ride with FlyNYON and paid extra money for guaranteed shoe selfie seat. Despite that at last minute I was placed in a seat where it was not a shoe selfie seat. Upon arrival back, I reached out to customer support for requesting refund as and I was promised that customer success team would look into it and get back to me. It's been more than 3 months and I have not received my refund. I interacted with Erika and Kiara. So far no response yet. I would highly recommend all of you to be aware of their scam so that you don't lose money over this fake promise like I did. read more

Cool experience, I was very scared but I liked the experience overall because the staff did a great job answering questions/communicating. What I did not like is that my boyfriend and I were separated on the helicopter (he was in the front, I was in the back) which had to be done for the overall weight distribution of the craft...but I didn't like that at all considering my anxiety. The overall experience was great. We enjoyed the amazing views with the doors off of New York. After purchasing the trip I was getting charged 6$ every month for 3 months till I caught the charges for some subscription I was not aware of. So if you do end up getting a tour make sure to check afterwards for charges. read more

This was an anazing experience. The flight was breathtaking and adrenaline lifting. I chose to take the shuttle spo I wouldn't have to worry about driving around Jersey. It was a big and clean bus. When we arrived to the actual site, they greeted and weighed us. The place has plenty of chairs and lounging space. There is a locker room and separate sex bathrooms. Although I was supposed to be on the sunset flight, delays and crowds changed that. I wasn't disappointed in the end. Everyone gets on a flight. They can definitely improve on organization but I definitely recommend this place. I suggest you bring food and snacks with you because you could be there for hours waiting for your flight. You will get hungry and they only have a vending machine. Customers were happy relaxing on the comfortable chairs but hungry stinks so bring atleast 2 sandwiches. This saved me. To anyone considering booking a helicopter tour in New York City, I highly recommend that you avoid FlyNYON. My experience with them was extremely disappointing, and I am still waiting for a refund that they promised me in January. Despite purchasing their weather insurance, which they claimed would guarantee a full refund if the tour was cancelled due to bad weather, I have not received any reimbursement from them. I have tried contacting them multiple times, but they have been unresponsive and unhelpful. It's very disappointing, as I was really looking forward to the experience, but unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate. While I understand that weather is out of anyone's control, I feel that FlyNYON should honor their promises and provide refunds as they advertise. I also find it concerning that they have negative reviews online from other customers who have had similar experiences.I sincerely hope that FlyNYON will rectify this situation and provide me with the refund that I am owed. In the meantime, I advise anyone thinking of booking a helicopter tour to be wary of this company's promises and consider other options instead.
