I haven't personally hired Flynn's Tree Service, but my neighbor did--to cut down trees on my property to improve his view. When I contacted Flynn's, they claimed he had permission. If you're seeking a company that prioritizes profit over ethics, this might be it. However, if you value professionalism and integrity, I would not recommend them. read more

Flynn's tree service in my opinion is the finest tree service in New Jersey or probably the East Coast. Mike Flynn is not just a amazing tree man he studied plant life & trees from an early age and understands what tree goes where and with different situation's.He's a professor of trees! I remember him studying books on plants when he was still a kid so at this point there's nothing that he can not do with any of your tree needs. If that wasn't enough he's honest as the day is long, you know you'll get a fair price and a professional job the only problem is and my dad always told me he never charged him enough :-) thanks for all you do! read more

UPDATE: This post was never about a tree not being removed, it was the behavior of the company and the GARBAGE they left on our neighborhood streets. To continue behavior this morning the owner's son, Cullen, approaches my husband (whom he has never met so odd he knew him) in a parking lot threatening him and promising to sue us for decimation of business based on a review and experience we had. We previously decided to just file with police based on the previous behaviors and not press charges (hoping it was a bad day for the company), but now that he is approaching us in parking lots. Very scary and bizarre behavior! ORIGINAL POST: I'll begin this by stating in all fairness they removed the tree so I'll give them a two for effort! I will also state the town contracting them to do the job, the property the tree was on is considered town land and just maybe that's why the job was not a big concern to them. Here's my complaints: Derbies left behind. (Not not wood chips) large branches that were rotted. There truck parked with access to dangerous tree parts and equipment. Damage to my property. Garbage (plastic water bottles and sandwich bags). In addition we reached out to town with no return call to rectify the issue. So we contacted them. See conversation below. Cullen and his team were amazing! They removed a tall pine tree from front yard that was 30-40 feet high! Each member of crew worked with precision to avoid cable lines. Very friendly with curious neighbors and directed traffic so cars could pass. In one visit they took top off tree and layed it down then cut up for chipper. Cut limbs off tree to haul away large trunk. Grinded down stump. Raked and cleaned up needles, cones and dust. Highly recommend. read more

Flynn's tree removal service did work in my neighborhood and I will never use them for myself and I certainly would never recommend them to anyone else. That is of course if you don't want to get called lazy ridiculous ungrateful etc by the owner. They left garbage all over including water bottles and lunch debris that my neighbors dogs found and were getting into. Then had a problem when they were asked to come and clean it up. They knocked on my neighbors door when she was home alone and were very rude and intimidating. Overall our neighborhood had a really bad experience. read more

We had 6 large pine trees removed with stumps grinded. Flynn Tree Service quoted us a fair price and agreed to start the job within a week, 4 days later a crew arrived and got to work. Workers were friendly and efficient, putting in a 12 hour day then another 4 the next day to clean up and grind stumps. They even came back a few days later and backfilled the stump holes with top soil. Very pleased with the price, communication and service we received, will be using them again next spring as well. read more

I moved into a new house last year and unfortunately the entire backyard was overgrown and destroyed with roots, weeds and dead trees. When I called Flynn's Tree Service they came right out for an estimate, they were extremely knowledgable and helpful with making a plan for our yard. I found them to be good, but not great. They removed a big limb from my tree in my back yard okay, but now I have ruts in my front lawn. They put down plates for the truck to drive over but I feel if they doubled up on the plates I wouldn't have ruts. They said it's because of the sandy soil, but my neighbor had tree service and a truck had to go on his lawn and he has no ruts. I'm not angry with them, in fact I would recommend them, I just wish they would have protected my front lawn a little better. Anyway, come this spring I will need some work performed on my front lawn, anybody know of a good landscaper? read more

Mike and his crew did a great job removing a very large pine that was over my home. Price was very fair, work was done quickly and clean up was as if they were never there. I would recommend Flynn Tree Service to anyone. read more
