I then decided I didn't want to wait in line so I would just call to check on my prescription. I was on the phone waiting for over an hour (see picture) and I never reached anyone because I got hung up on as I was waiting for OVER AN HOUR. Makes me sad to think how stressful this would be for someone who actually needed medication for something vital to their health. Horrible service!

We tried to get an appointment for some vaccines. The person on the line spoke very broken English, and the 2 of us could not understand her. She not only got our names wrong, but also the shots we wanted wrong. When we showed up for our injections, the counter person read what the phone receptionist wrote. It then took about an hour to untangle that mess, and get our names and meds straight. Seems like it took 3 people to do that, and when we got some scripts to go, my wife's name was still wrong on the label. So, they are nice folks, but it's not wise to put people new to English in charge of phone calls, or areas where information needs to be pivotal.

The doctor put in the wrong brand of my meds and rather than let me just call my doctor to fix it she kept saying "I'm telling you what to do" and tried to force me into a co-pay, despite never having to pay for this in the past. I tried to explain that we would rather have a different brand (one that we don't pay for), but I felt like I was being pushed into a co-pay situation to try and get me off the call quicker. We've used this pharmacy many times in the past and have never had an experience like this! Usually they are very helpful. I'm just assuming that Denise was having a bad day, but that is no reason to hang up on a customer.

Even thought I'm here in Tulsa for school and have been filling the exact prescription for two years this way, which Walgreens would have record of. When I called prior to get information on what she needed from me to do that, he VERY rudely declared with a scoff and lots of negative attitude that he would not fill it and that Ive never filled there before (not true) and treated me like absolute trash. I have never had such a terrible encounter. I'm a pre nursing student, and previously a pharmacy tech and am very clear on what is ethical and allowed. My doctor is very well accredited and works in a very established hospital, and I've been filling the same medications since 2013. The worst bedside manor, with a condescending accusatory pharmacist. Hope you catch him on a better day. I transferred everything to Walmart. They're cheaper and MUCH nicer.

They are really helpful if I have questions about a new medication, or if I'm out of a refill they will call my doctor and get new refills. They work hard to keep their customers happy, and I appreciate it. They also have a ton of over the counter medications in the store, plus a lot of other useful household products like soap, toilet paper, and toothpaste. Very nice people to do business with.

Today, one of my prescriptions was put on hold because they "could not find my insurance." I pay out of pocket. This is not the first time I've filled this prescription on a cash basis. The staff member at the counter offered no apology and no explanation unless I specifically asked for one. When I did ask, she was unable to tell me when the prescription would be ready. I later called to follow up, and the automated system could not locate the prescription at all. After nearly an hour on hold, I finally reached someone who would only tell me it would be ready tomorrow, with no further detail and no acknowledgment of the inconvenience. I will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere. I have used other Walgreens locations out south without issue. This one is a different experience entirely.

I'm on disability and that cost would have kept me from being able to get them at all. My mom offered but it would have been difficult for her as well. The staff must have overheard our concerns because when she went in to pick it up the pharmacist on staff had given us an amazing discount that cut the cost by more than half! On my last 2 visits to Oklahoma, I discovered stop here for Tylenol and snacks. This last time though I did pick up laundry detergent and a few cute souvenirs and stuff for my grandkids. I notice how great people are in Oklahoma and are very friendly and nice. They were very helpful and directed me to where everything was. I will for sure stop here again on my next visit in October, would be great to see Tulsa in the fall. Thank you!
