The pump hung up at the reward card screen twice. I moved to another pump the screen said see cashier. I am handicapped and try to do my business at the pump. The HELP button didn't get a response at either pump. There is no sticker with a phone number for handicap assistance. I went inside and was told the help button was disconnected and the manager wouldn't allow the handicap assistance stickers to be placed on the pumps. This was a frustrating morning but the Cinnabon made it a bit better. read more

Great place. One side is for people with cars. Other side is for huge semi trucks. Inside store is huge. I had to drop off something to ship it Fed x. This place had a drop box. Very clean on the inside. They have showed for travelers. Good prices on gas, soda, snacks. They sell a lot of things like T-shirt's and clothing. They do have hot food like pizza and things. Great place right before u get into Hudson if u are traveling West on 94. This flying J location is really nice and have more than enough space for truck parking, the store has a large variety of goods in case you don't have time to stop at the local grocery or Walmart, the employees are very nice and helpful and I definitely think you should check it out if your in the area. read more

A large and clean truck stop. Lots of random retail goods/knick-knacks to browse if you need to stretch your legs/are waiting for your car companions to do their thing. McDonald's gets the signage, but there's also a Cinnabon kiosk inside the gas station portion as well. I didn't partake as the buns were looking a little dried out for the day, but they'll easily get me if they're looking fresher next time. While I was browsing there was one person who was following me through the store which creeped me out - he had a headset so I thought he was an employee, but my boyfriend later told me some truckers wear headsets so it could have been a random patron. There were two cashiers working in the back so I just hung out closer to them for a bit until it was time to roll out. I wouldn't go out of my way to stop here, but if it's closest to when I need gas/a break I'd go back. read more

Decent truck stop with clean but busy restrooms, reasonable gasoline prices, and strong coffee. The coffee is better at the attached McDonalds however. The usual offerings of road snacks, trucker supplies and apparel, and sort of friendly workers. I found the location very convenient as one of the last truck stops before (or after) Minneapolis. read more

I want to give these guys more points just for being convenient but I can't. Gas price wise, they are always a few cents more than hudson and I don't get why. It's only another 8 miles west! Every time I go in there, I am underwhelmed by their "quick bite" counter which features just warmed over old looking pizza, chicken, corn dogs, etc. Having an attached McDonalds does not help them. This McD's is painfully slow and sometimes they won't have things "up" when your order so you have to pick something else. It's a gas station that offers gas, food and restrooms so at least they get a passing mark. I just can't say they go beyond a passing mark in any way. read more

As a Otr driver and someone who lives nearby and drives his pov, this place is the newest & slowest service place I have ever been to. It's pretty embarrassing how slow they are. I don't blame the employees. It's clearly either management or the ability to find people to work for them. I have been there maybe a dozen times now. They usually only have one cashier working, at a truck stop!! So truckers with paperwork and special needs takes time. So if you tribe your car here to get fuel. Get ready to stand in line behind all of the truckers. Just once I would like to be out of there lines for the register in under 15 minutes. Get it together flying j! McDonald's at this truck stop sucks!!!! I had to wait for 10 mins for them to open. After that I ordered a big breakfast and she gave me a biscuit and a sausage and charged me $9.00 What the hell! I was the only customer there..!!! The cashier was rude and acted like she was doing me a favor.. no wonder In n Out kicks your ass !! Pump 7 does not read cards. You must go inside to pay for your gas yet the establishment does not post a note to that effect on the pump. Instead, the customer is forced to learn by repeated trial and error. After going inside to inquire, I was told that all pumps are "pre-pay" which I took to mean that one has to pay inside prior to pumping. So, I paid $25 at the register and went out to pump my gas. The pump indicated no sign of payment occurred and I still could not pump my gas. Meanwhile, the guy at the adjacent pump used his card and had no problem. I went back inside to let them know that he pump still was not working and to also ask for clarification regarding the earlier statement that all pumps were "pre-pay" given that the guy next to me did not need to go inside. The clerk said that "pre-pay" meant that payment had to occur prior to pumping. Obviously! What she didn't want to tell me earlier was that the pump I was using has a faulty card reader! I asked her to please make the pump work for the gas I had went to the trouble to pay for inside with my card. Finally, I go back out to the pump and try again to pump my gas - it works but only if I stand with my hand on the pump and repeatedly press the handle because it won't continue to pump the gas without popping that handle. This was a ridiculous ordeal that no customer should need to suffer through. I was only trying to buy their product - why make it as difficult as possible?? Management, put a sign up at pump 7 that says it does not work and stop wasting your customers time. read more

Unbelievably bad customer service. The rather larger lady who was working the register was wearing a shirt that looked like it had been used as an oil rag. I asked for a kodiak she returned and rang up a Copenhagen. I said sorry that is not a kodiak. She rolled her eyes at me and sighed. She then returned and rang up a grizzly. I said thats still not a kodiak. She went back finally got a kodiak and slammed it on the counter and asked for fifteen something. Kodiak is 8 something and then was even more angry that i pointed out she hadn't removed the last wrong item from my bill. Once again sighing eye rolling irritated look like i had somehow ruined her day by expecting to receive what i asked for and be correctly charged. I will not return. Too many pumps out of service. Waited for way too long. Eventually I left to get fuel somewhere else.

I have stopped at this Flying J several times and always hope for something better next time. The cleanliness in the coffee and soup area is not ok! I stopped to get lunch for the road about 2;30 am. The warm food selection by the checkout had one biscuit one English muffin. The young lady working the counter looked and acted like she was mad at the world. I have encountered her other times with the same attitude. I made a mistake when I told her "I will take both biscuits too ​please" With a harsh tone I was told, "I have one English muffin and one biscuit which one would you like". I left with no food! Also, the floor is extremely slippery in this store. Very poor example of a retail business. They get one star only because it won't let me post with no stars. read more
