We had a 12pm appointment and were on time. There is a bit of paperwork needed and another couple arrived right before us. Brian took care of my wife. He did one of her other tattoos. She has gotten all of her tattoos here. He took her in around 1215pm. Ambiance is a tattoo parlor. Samples of the artist's work are hanging all around. I sat in a comfy leather couch while I waited. This was my first tattoo ever, visiting from Texas, and I was pretty nervous about passing out with a lightheaded condition I have. He was so understanding about it. The deposit was in cash, appointment set, I took off of work for that day expecting to be tattooed a few hours ( sleeve tattoo) and she never came into the shop. I finally got a response out of her after multiple messages letting her know I was there and she responded with " she was not coming in due to making other plans with her guy" no offer of rescheduling, no refund of the deposit. So I lost a day of pay plus my deposit. Her work ethic is trash and her treatment of people is horrendous. There are far better artist. I did end up going elsewhere and am by far more than happy with my artist and work. I would give negative stars if I could.

He was super personable, helped my son relax and made sure he was getting what he wanted. I went back 2 weeks later for a small tattoo for myself and then within months, was collaborating with Mike on a half sleeve incorporate a cover-up. I gave Mike reference photos of the 2 dragons I wanted, some high-level ideas and a deposit and he turned that into a beautiful piece. We had sessions every two weeks for 3 months and I can confidently say he is consistently friendly, chill, cares about his clients' comfort, has little ego and really wants people to love their ink. Following his advice was never a mistake, he's an artist you can trust. I'm already planning my next big piece. Beyond Mike, the shop itself is great. All of the staff is welcoming and willing to work with you to make sure you get. It's clean and has a good vibe all around.
