Kizomba is a unique African dance that is really popular in other areas, but not well known here. Pretty hot, but yah, it doesn't exactly look like that when you are learning the steps for the first time! LOL As for the dance shows, we saw a nice routine for day of the dead, an excellent salsa routine and...a pole dancer. When I saw the dancer and the pole, I thought "Oh damn! I can't show my wife that I'm enjoying this" but dammit if she wasn't there talking to the pole dancer about taking classes. Hahaha! Nice... Overall a good time. By the way, once you book the classes online for the AMOS Riding Academy, Mae sends you a personalized video intro of what to expect including what gear to get and what classes might be like (she's not one of the teachers but is very helpful and knowledgeable on any questions you might have about the classes). Then she'll schedule a quick 5-10 min practice session on an H-G Street 500 that's bolted down and on dyna rollers so you can get acquainted with the controls, upshifting and downshifting. Our in-the-field instructors were Adam and Andrew... Andrew has such a positive energy and gets you really excited about learning. And Adam was great with safety and he gave me some great tips and advice when he passed me and my son through the course!! Both were very knowledgeable and were patient and always open to questions. We love that this is now our daughters second home and dance family.
