I would like to start out by saying that Mario Gandolfo, owner of Flying B Pet Transportation conducted his business with the upmost professionalism.On our initial phone conversation, Mario let me know the price, the type of vehicle, and his plans on bringing our new German Shepherd rescue, Tango from Burbank, Ca. to our meeting destination in Tucson, Az. His follow thru wasassuring to me that everything would evolve smoothly. Before pulling out of the burbank facility, mario sent me a text picture of Tango. Along the route, Mario would stop to let Tango out and Mario would text me with up to date information on our far out he was. Mario was very professional and personal upon our meeting. When he took Tango out of his vehicle, Tango wanted to stay with him. This assured me that he took great care of my boy during transport. I was extremely pleased with the condition of my boy and how clean and spacious his vehicle was. I offered him extra money to go buy himself a dinner, in which he refused stating that his quote was enough. I am not one for taking no as an answer and demanded that he took it, that a great jog was done and deserved the little extra. Mario has been in the animal transport world for over 3 years now and right from the start those that would seek to ruin his business out of jealousy or because he was so called "CUTTING" into their money making territory have continued to this day to smear not only his stellar animal transport service but also have viciously attacked his own personal life,through it all he has fought these soulless people off and continues to do that which he lives for to do..transport former death row dogs across this great nation...The only ones who trash his transport service and his name are those who are either friends with those who have constantly tinted Mario's otherwise perfect reputation or are those who believe heresy and just jump on the trash wagon.. The woman who is leaving these bogus reviews on Mr.Gandolfo's wall here on yelp is named Tina Maria Pollard and she has been stalking him for over a year now,she has done this to many other good,outstanding people in the animal rescue world as well,the police are actively seeking this troll out for stalking him.She has lied about his good standing and most professional business and libeling him to any person who will believe her lies and diseased slander.Miss pollard is a very sick woman who should not be allowed to post such lies ...I have used Mario's transportation on several occasions and will continue to do so in the future.he is very reasonable with his transport prices and he sends text pictures to his clients while transporting on the road as well as letting his clients know exactly where he is while transporting on the road at any given time. I think my dog Oso was one of the first if not the first dog Mario rescued from East Valley shelter. I have been rescuing for a long time from California to Canada and in any field where you have to work with people you don't know, have to rely on people you don't know, you have to go on your initial feeling or a recommendation. I did both. I also am retired from law enforcement and have a good take on when someone is not quite what they try to appear to be. My contact with Mario carries on to this day long past the day I needed him urgently to save a little dog. It continues because I admire him and appreciate him. I can use the following words to describe him and his service: efficient, caring, honest, passionate, reliable, and kind. That is my direct experience. If I needed a dog pulled and transported, especially if it was urgent, I can rely on him and always will. My husband and I just recently used Flying B Pet Transportation to transport a puppy from California to New Jersey. Mario Gandolfo was so helpful and efficient. We didn't know where to begin and Mario guided us through step by step doing all the paper work with the shelter. He set up an appointment with a vet to have the dog get a health certificate and checked out. Purchased a crate and bowls for our pup and gave us the information needed to fly him to New Jersey. When everything was in order Mario brought our puppy to the airport and made sure he was safely put on our reserved flight home. He even took pictures for us to reassure us that everything was going as planned. None of this could have happened without his help. He is very professional and honest. Mario provided a great service. I was the foster for a dog being transported from Los Angeles to Sacramento. He was very organized and worked with my schedule. He sent texts, pictures and ETA's on his way. He was very nice and professional. He did all of the dealings with the shelter which was very nice of him. He also tried to get as much information as possible on the health of the dog because the dog had a new limp which the shelter didnt document. He was great about getting what we needed from them. I recently used Flying B Pet Transport to get my dog Sophie out of a shelter in the LA area and Mario drove her all the way to Dallas. Mario arranged for a rescue to pull her out of the shelter since she was labeled as "rescue only" due to a skin condition. He picked her up, bought her a hamburger and started driving. Mario was in constant contact with me throughout their trip to Texas via text and sent me several pictures of Sophie along the way. Mario has a true love for animals and I feel my dog couldn't have been in better hands to make the long journey to her new home! I would definitely recommend Flying B Pet Transport! Mario brought Daisy, my German Shepherd from L.A. to San Francisco in a caring and professional manner. He is upfront about the process and his costs. Mario is great at organizing and is communicative and readily available. He takes personal care of the dogs and he updates you with calls, pics, and texts along the way. The dogs are safe and secure in a crate in the huge open back of the funky yellow Scion. They even have a k9 bodyguard traveling with them; Mario's personal dog comes along for the rides! What a great service! From first contact to having my new senior dog delivered to my arms, I could not have asked for more. Excellent communication all the way. On-time (within 10 minutes for an 8+ hour drive...can't get much better than that!) and great photos sent during the trip. Mario also gave some insight to her health and what he had seen at the shelter where he picked her up and observations during the trip. Mario it the finest of the fine! He helped organize and then transport a Rottie girl for us. She was coming from Anaheim and we live in Mt., we did not want to go into the city. He took care of everything, picked her up at Katella Animal Hospital, then met my husband in Barstow. It was pouring down rain, but he was exactly like he said as far as arrival time, and his price quote could not have been any more fair, or spot-on ! He kept in contact all the way. Mario Gandolfo rescued our dog LadyBug on the day she was to be euthanized. He then transported her from LA to Phoenix. He kept us updated with photographs along the way, and our baby arrived safe, healthy and happy! I have pictures of her loving on Mario, and of Mario loving on her... and trust me; I think she was sad to leave him at first! Mario is extremely passionate about the quality of service he provides, both to potential adopters, and to the helpless animals. I Personally have never used this transport however, I have had many dealings with the owner "Mario" in the areas of animal rescue. Honestly, he has taught me alot about the ins and outs of animal rescue and he is very knowledgeable. As a rescuer, Mario has a HUGE heart, and very intelligent.
