Leeloo after traveling from US to Spain.

I needed to move my 20 lb mixed breed dog from the San Francisco Bay Area to Spain. Initially, I was going to try to do it on my own but quickly realized that just finding an airline that would transport her was going to be difficult. I reached out to several relocation companies and settled on Pet Express. Throughout the entire process, Pet Express was extremely responsive. Whenever I had a question or concern, Jane was able to answer it quickly. Mason completed all of the paperwork which made my vet's job much easier and insured there would be no issues with the USDA. Finally, they worked with BaggagePets in Spain to get her through customs. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Thank you, Pet Express for getting Leeloo to her new home.

Shipped our cat from San Francisco to Edinburgh. We just wanted to express our most sincere gratitude to Alexandra and the Pet Express/Extraordinair (Edinburgh partner) team for seeing us and Otis safely through the relocation process. Not the least of which, I personally am grateful for your unending patience in answering our endless questions and concerns with efficient and thoughtful grace. The pickup process was so smooth. He is already enjoying his forever home. For potential clients: 1. Ensure you get microchip before rabies shot 2. Get 1 year rabies shot after microchip 3. They cannot travel until 21 days after rabies 4. If Pet lands within 5 days of owner landing get Health Certificate from your USDA veterinarian to save $ 5. Obtain walk in endorsement by USDA yourself to save $ 6. Ensure you fill out Border Inspection Post properly to determine if you can avoid VAT (UK) Nothing about this process is easy. Pet Express worked great with us and we did all of our own research to ensure we did everything we could for a smooth process.

I have zero complaints about the service. I had my two cats moved from Berkeley to England and when I saw them, they were surprisingly relaxed. I expected angry cats covered in pee, but they were very calm and were happy to nuzzle. I'd definitely recommend their services!

My beautiful willow just before she died

The photos are very upsetting for most people so be warned. Let me start by telling you that two months ago I had two beautiful, healthy dogs and now I have none. We relocated back to the UK from the USA two months ago and the whole experience was hell on Earth. What they don't tell you is that they contract out to other companies. When I asked for pictures of my dogs where they were staying for the 3 days required it was shock and horror. It was disgusting and then you find out you are more dealing with multiple companies. When our dogs arrived in Amsterdam (due to Brexit) we then got a call to say one of our dogs wasn't 'very well' and was taken to the vets. Two hours later she had died. She had just turned 1. We still do not have her ashes back. We're finally managed to get our other dog home to us who wash soo traumatized by the whole ordeal attacked my dads dog. He was 7 years old and never ever done anything like that before and is now in a rehab facility after me begging not to euthanize him. There were our life. Our beautiful babies. We still have no answers or explanations or even my baby girls ashes. I will not stop until I get justice's and make others aware.

Unfortunately, this place was a HUGE disappointment and had a huge negative impact on our pup. Long story short -- Everything here is a sales grab. The few girls care for the animals but the "managers" and men there are just there for the commission of your packages. I had a whole conversation about their unethical sales pitching with the employee while picking up my dog lol. It's "how they keep the place open" - the employee's words, not mine. Astounding. Said employee also asked what I did for a living because I questioned their sales pitch tactics -- I'm in sales. Also, If you need their VIP services for your unspayed or neutered pup, please spend your money elsewhere!! Before committing to a membership, we did a trial day and spent hundreds on drop in days, grooming, and overnight boarding to see if it was a good fit for our high energy pup. Our dog is not neutered and we don't plan on getting him neutered so we chose their VIP rooms. His breed is also extremely high energy and they promised they could accommodate. I also inquired about training multiple times and they kept saying the trainer would contact me. Everything went great after those few visits, they seemed caring and said he was a great fit for a membership so we end up signing up. Then everything went downhill. Upon the first day of the membership, our dog all of a sudden had behavior issues and needed to be picked up. In the middle of my work day I call the shift manager, and he states that if we want our dog to stay, he needs training ... (from their same trainer that I've inquired 3x about before committing to a membership, still haven't heard back). I asked why this wasn't communicated ever before committing to a membership and they didn't have an answer. I informed them that I would've paid for training before committing to a membership if they would've let me know that there were any issues. Our dog went a couple of more times until they could finally get me in touch with the trainer, 6 visits later. Actually I had lost complete trust at this facility. To add insult to injury, I was able to speak to one of their actual workers that is with the dogs and she let me know that our dog is only let out for about 10 minutes at a time, maybe 3 to 4 times a day during a 12 hour stay. This is their VIP option. So not only is he left in a room for about 12 hours a day, with dogs barking all around him, he's not being stimulated nor played with just being let out to go to the bathroom. Contradicting everything they say that they offer. Their "trainer" is also a joke. He is supposed to be from the Marines and well-versed in the breed of dog that we have. Upon washing him for 5 minutes, as I was told, he said that our dog needed to be neutered before he could be trained because of his energy. Our dog is a Malinois and is not supposed to be neutered before 2 years of age. We've since went elsewhere to get our dog trained from someone who is actually educated on his breed and he's worked on all of his anxiety and reactivity issues that our pup got because of this place.

Let's be real, she's a young dog in a brand new environment surrounded by unfamiliar dogs. Of course she's going to be excited. That's exactly why people come in for these evaluations in the first place. If your facility isn't equipped to handle high energy or young dogs, that should be clearly stated upfront on your website. Instead, I paid $40 for what felt like a pre judged, rushed dismissal with zero effort to actually assess or work with her to get comfortable. What was more disappointing was the lack of care or professionalism. No one asked about her behavior history - other than does she not play well with dogs, supervisor didn't use her name, and she was immediately taken to the back with a slip lead and returned minutes later with a blanket judgment. There was no constructive feedback, no suggestions for training, and no guidance on how we could improve and come back. For context, she regularly goes to dog parks and plays off leash without any issues. Overall, the experience felt unwelcoming and transactional rather than thoughtful or supportive. Just a heads up for other dog owners, you may not get a fair evaluation or any refund if your dog doesn't fit their expectations. Which should be free, then if they pass you pay.

Do not trust Tailwind Global Pet to relocate your pets. We incurred $2,635 for their "Revaccination…read moreand Release" package, which they market as covering CDC coordination, veterinary testing, and management of clearance and release. Instead, our two rescue vizslas remain confined in their facility, and the bill has already ballooned to more than $3,250 and climbing daily while Tailwind does nothing to secure their release. From the moment the dogs arrived at LAX, Tailwind has provided shifting and incomplete information. We were told both dogs had "skin issues" requiring bloodwork and a leishmania PCR test. In fact, one dog's skin scrape came back clear immediately--information we only obtained days later after repeated requests, at which point Tailwind claimed that the second dog was being held solely as "part of the same shipment" despite traveling in a separate crate. Tailwind waited six days to reveal that they had sent the other dog's sample to an understaffed lab across the country in North Carolina, despite the existence of qualified labs in Los Angeles, and then on the seventh day disclosed for the first time that the vet had ordered not only a PCR but also serology, which takes even longer to process. Eight days after our dogs landed at LAX, those tests still have not been completed, and our dogs remain trapped at Tailwind's facility, with costs mounting daily. Tailwind will no doubt respond by blaming CDC, as they have at every turn. But despite expressly representing that they would manage coordination and advocate on our behalf, they apparently never (i) questioned why the sample had to be shipped across the country instead of requesting permission to use a local lab, or (ii) sought information from the lab about expediting, which they raised for the first time only a week after our dogs' arrival--after accruing a week of boarding fees that already exceeded the likely cost of expediting (although we still haven't been told what the expedited cost would be). Even now, they cannot confirm that such a request was ever submitted. Meanwhile, our dogs remain trapped, stressed, and separated from us. These are vizslas rescued from a breeding farm in Thailand, then abandoned at a pound, then subjected to a grueling international journey--only to be confined yet again while Tailwind layers daily boarding charges on top of undisclosed lab costs. All we want is for Tailwind to do everything possible to help us bring these dogs to their forever home quickly, as we contracted with them to do. Instead, they concealed critical information, failed to act, and left us footing the bill while our dogs are abandoned yet again.
