It's a bit out of the way but it's worth it for the quiet tranquil local. Gayle and Marcia are so friendly and helpful. The "Apartment" was amazing! Everything was clean and comfortable. There is a small pool on the grounds and the beach is across the street. Interesting walk through some trees to get to the beach, definitely don't go near sun down LOL My only complaint is the bathroom did not have counterspace... but this is just a small issue, we made it work. Helps to have a hanging toiletry bag. Highly recommend this hotel if you want peace and quiet to just relax.

The location itself is a short walk away from Ocean Inlet Beach Park, which has a path that leads directly to the beach. A few minutes north is the parking lot for the Boynton Inlet Pier. Parking was relatively easy, with the main lot nestled behind the property, facing the inter-coastal (and the multi-million dollar homes we definitely cannot afford). The building itself is old, so if anyone who wants to visit is physically impaired, it is best to stick to the first floor, as the second floor can only be accessed via concrete stairs. The weather was perfect for swimming, but due to red tide lingering around the coast, we decided not to swim on the beach. Instead, we utilized the swimming pool. A perfect size for a nice swim, but if multiple people are sharing it, it is best not to create too many wakes. Surrounded by palm trees, flowers, and other plants which add to an old Florida aesthetic. The miniature water fountains scattered throughout add to the aesthetic of attempting to have Florida resemble a tropical paradise. With the property being compact within a limited amount of space, it provides a cozy atmosphere, making the property feel smaller, and therefore, more 'home-like'. Behind the pool is a large wooden open-air pavilion, allowing guests a place to hide from the sun and to socialize if they so choose. Surrounding the pool were large beach chairs and beach umbrella, which we promptly used after our swim. There was a grill, but we did not get to use it. Our hotel room was located at the front-left corner of the property, facing the highway and swimming pool. We kept our privacy thanks to each window having both roller blinds and blackout blinds. The room was clean and had plenty of space, feeling more like a well-furnished apartment split into different sections. It included a comfortable king-size bed, an accessible patio with a wide living room, an actual kitchen with a refrigerator stocked with bottled water (at no additional charge), and a clean bathroom with a unique glass paneled sink. In the kitchen was a binder, which could be used by guests as a guide to check out the best local areas in Palm Beach County. If this facility offered guests to rent for a monthly rate, I would not be shocked if some took up on the offer. The cherry on top of this experience was having a positive encounter with the incredibly helpful staff. They helped us check into our rooms once it was ready, stocked the refrigerator, recommended local restaurants, helping us learn how the lock system worked for the room, and they even went as far assisting with finding my missing ring (a separate story for another time). I want to give this place the full five stars, but there was one issue that I couldn't overlook. Whenever on the patio, there was a sulfuric odor that lingered in the area. At first, I thought it was natural gas or propane, but the grill was on the other side, and no odor was found in the area. I do not have any proof, but my guess is that the odor stemmed from the old water pipes connected to the outside pool shower. The same odor could be smelled once water ran through our personal shower drain. We did not feel we were at risk for our health, but the unpleasant scent was noticeable. This can be fixed by replacing the old water pipes with new ones. Considering the age of the property, I understand that it would probably take some time to implement, but I believe it would do the property some good. Overall, we were incredibly happy for the pleasant experience, and would highly recommend Sun Dek Beach House if you ever need a local stay-cation by the beach. A bit pricey, but considering the rates at other neighboring locations, and the limited time we had, this was a great destination.

This resort is small and right on the beach. Most of the rooms face the ocean. There are many restaurants and stores within a five minute walk so I'm happy with minimal immensities here. It gets right to the point.....The Ocean! So far it has been a quiet stay. Most of the people staying here have been respectful of noise. They have towel service available everyday between 9-10 and 2-3. We did an exchange during those times with no one counting or having to show a wrist band or room key. I would love to come back here again to stay. I am thorough enjoying the tranquility of the ocean and the view from our room. I recommend the third floor. There is parking available l included in fee, there is laundromat available on sight (not in room), coffee between 8-2, beach chair/umbrella rental, large gas grill by pool and full kitchen. I can't wait to come back again soon.

I used up my Bonvoy points and decided to take a break from the Marriott brand and try something different. I went to Yelp and found this highly rated property and quickly called the hotel to see if they had any availability. The desk clerk offered me a great nightly rate as I qualified for the Florida Resident discount. I booked a king size room for four nights. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel offers free parking, free internet, a "better than most" continental breakfast and during the week they put out freshly baked cookies in the afternoon. Upon check-in I was warmly greeted and offered two bottles of water. Had a quick chat with the front desk guy who happened to be the same guy I spoke to on the phone. He was awesome, in fact every employee I encountered during my staycation was great. My room was immaculate. The mattress was perfect, the linens were nicely made, and I slept well all four nights. The bed was beyond comfortable. They don't have a business center but the front desk people were kind enough to print out some emails for me, make copies and they allowed me to borrow their stapler and a few other office supplies. Because they helped me I was able to actually get some work done. In the morning I drove across the street to DD to get iced coffee then headed back to the hotel to shower. Talking about showers, the water pressure was strong. Very happy with the bathroom and shower. The toiletries were Neutrogena and I liked them a lot. There are several restaurants near the hotel but having every meal out can get expensive. I went to Doris's Market which is just on the other side of Yamato Road and bought some prepared food to keep in the refrigerator in my room. I kept things affordable but still good. I was able to get paper plates and utensils from the breakfast area so I was all set. I went down to the pool in the early evenings to unwind. I had my tablet so I was able to do some reading which was nice. It was quiet and peaceful which made me so very happy. The property is pet friendly with a non-refundable pet deposit which was reasonable. Parking was easy and I found availability in front of the hotel all four nights. The vibe here is warm and inviting and that's because the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I enjoyed my stay so much that I was actually sad when it was time to check-out. I will be going back because it's the perfect staycation for me. Hampton Inn really surprised me and in a good way. I had a Hilton Honors account from years ago and I updated my information online. Two days after checking out I received a promotional email from Hilton. They were running a special that if you stayed a minimum of three nights you earned a certain amount of points. I called them and told the representative that I checked out two days ago after my four night stay. I wanted to see if I qualified for the bonus points and they said "not technically" but they gave me the points anyway. Very impressed with the level of customer service I received; both in the hotel and with their customer service department. I can't wait to come back for another staycation.

I asked the front desk about gym access and was told there was no on-site gym, despite the listing suggesting otherwise, and was directed across the street to a corporate office parking lot where, I was told, hotel guests routinely exercise. Acting on that guidance, I did exactly that. Within 30 minutes, a man approached me, a Black woman, alone, at 7:30am, and began recording me on his phone before saying a single word to me. He confronted me, demanded I leave, and when I didn't escalate, he sprinted across the street into this hotel's lobby to report me, loudly and repeatedly referring to me as "the black woman." On his way out, as I was coming in, he called me a fucking bitch. Your staff directed me into that situation. Your General Manager, Enrique, was contacted multiple times by my husband and responded with "we told the guy to leave" and, when asked to personally address the situation with the neighboring property, said "sir, you're asking us to do a lot." He never called my room. He never sent anyone to speak with me. He offered no apology and no accountability of any kind. The only person at this property who behaved with any decency was the front desk agent, Katrina, who apologized sincerely and acknowledged what had happened. I am a recovering surgical patient. I came here for rest. I spent that morning sobbing, shaken, and on the phone with my therapist. That is what "go across the street" cost me. If you have no on-site gym, remove it from your amenities. If you have a Lifetime Fitness partnership, direct guests there and only there. Do not send guests, especially women, alone, early in the morning, into spaces you cannot vet, and then tell their husbands you've been asked to do too much when it goes wrong. I have filed a formal complaint with hotel ownership and am escalating to Hilton corporate. I am also preserving my right to file with the Florida Commission on Human Relations. I'm sharing this publicly because the next woman who asks about the gym deserves to know.

I will say this is my 2nd time here as we have a kid at the nearby college and this was very convenient, I am loyal to the brand, and the price wasn't bad for what I expect. Last time the room was clean, staff were ok, lobby bar and M Lounge were good. The bed in the room was my only real complaint that was not comfortable at all and extremely noisy. This time around; in a renovated room I will admit; staff were as much more inviting; room still clean and the beds much better. Location hasn't changed plenty of dining options, close to the college and not far from the beach (3 miles?) if you want to venture that way. Haven't used the pool, but you can see from the pictures and certainly when you arrive this isn't a resort style pool; it's a small casual pool, visible from the parking lot would be my only hesitation. I haven't experienced anything from my last visit to this one to not give it 4/5 stars; last time would have been 4 (maybe a 3) due to the beds (staff was ok, but not rude by any means).

However, my personal experience was a mix of hits and misses. Upon arrival, the exterior of the hotel wasn't as appealing as expected. It didn't match the polished look shown in the pictures. While the inside and grounds have nice features, that first impression was a bit disappointing. One major downside was the noise. Construction starts right at 8 AM every morning and is very loud. It honestly sounded like an orca vocalizing, which made it hard to sleep in. Even at night, the noise carries. The pool area may look nice, but the sounds from the pool echo loudly and can be heard throughout the rooms well into the evening. On the positive side, the rooms were clean and comfortable, which was appreciated. Breakfast had a fresh omelette station that was great and definitely one of the highlights of the stay. Scott Crown Food Review of The Boiler Room Dallas Management…read more Scott Crown Food Review of The Boiler Room Dallas Management As self-proclaimed food critiques, me and my girlfriend do a lot of dining form restaurants to restaurants just so we could try their menus. We love to eat, we love food and of all the restaurants we dined at, we have fallen in love to one and it is no other than The Boiler Roomlocated in the heart of Deep Ellum in Dallas. Wednesday night we decided to have a dinner date at The Boiler Room. It was our first time there and I am glad we have decided to dine there because in fact boiler room was not an option. The place wasn't in the list because it is a music venue although they also serve food. We were there at exactly 8 p.m. There were a lot of people when we got in but there were still plenty of seats which a plus point for me. We were seated at a smaller table because it was just me and my boyfriend in the right corner side of the room. They have daily specials and then a regular menu with appetizers, sliders, sandwiches, and entrees. They have a pretty good menu selection. Both of us ordered sliders. What I like most is that you can mix and match and order either two or three. Girlfriend went with the chicken fried steak sliders with fries. It has a patty of chicken fried steak, creamy gravy, and a dollop of mashed potatoes. And mine was two of the chicken fried steak sliders and then one bacon ranch chicken slider. We also ordered the veggie wrap; it comes with sprouts, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, and cheese. The ingredients were drizzled with raspberry vinaigrette and wrapped up in a flour tortilla. The wrap was accompanied by potato chips and a small fruit salad. And can you believe it, this only costs $6.50! The dressing was well-proportioned and all of the ingredients were fresh and crisp, just the way we both like it. Because we both ordered sliders, we had many options and the mix and match were all great. You also have the option of adding sweet potato fries. My chicken salad slider was first-class; I just love how they prepared them. My chicken fried steak slider was at its finest! Maybe the best I ever had. The spoonful of taters did make it feel like going back for more; the mashers were excellent. We ordered the apple pie dessert, only to find they were out of that so I was a bit disappointed because they also said it was the best there. All in all, the experience was great, the foods were splendid, the service was superb and the waiting time was okay. I can obviously say I will make a return visit. Prices were great. Service was decent. Foods are impressive and we just love this place! Scott Crown Food Review of The Boiler Room Dallas Management
