Overall, this property has the potential to be great and from the photos online it certainly looks updated, beautiful, and boasts incredible views. However, my personal experience was a mix of hits and misses. Upon arrival, the exterior of the hotel wasn't as appealing as expected. It didn't match the polished look shown in the pictures. While the inside and grounds have nice features, that first impression was a bit disappointing. One major downside was the noise. Construction starts right at 8 AM every morning and is very loud. It honestly sounded like an orca vocalizing, which made it hard to sleep in. Even at night, the noise carries. The pool area may look nice, but the sounds from the pool echo loudly and can be heard throughout the rooms well into the evening. On the positive side, the rooms were clean and comfortable, which was appreciated. Breakfast had a fresh omelette station that was great and definitely one of the highlights of the stay. If noise and exterior appeal aren't deal breakers for you, there are definitely some nice aspects to this hotel, but be aware of the sound issues before booking. read more

This hotel is in serious need of a top to bottom renovation. It feels so old and outdated compared to newer hotels in the area. The rooms are dark and not very well lit. Carpets and furniture are feeling old and worn down. The room I stayed in also had a musty smell, like an AC or air filter needing some serious cleaning. Staff was friendly and breakfast was solid, but please renovate and update going forward. read more

SCW and I stayed at the Hilton Suites Boca Raton after meeting up with some family for lunch. We checked in which was quick, but no recognition of Diamond status nor any mention of an upgrade. Not typical for Hilton properties but ok. Our room was on the third floor overlooking the lake. Immediately as we walked in SCW remarked about the smell. Very hard to miss. Smelled of mold, and stale air. I get it, it's Florida and that's hard to avoid when you have a balcony and people open the doors etc. The room itself was spacious, a sitting room, fridge and bar sink, bathroom then the bedroom and balcony. Our room had a chair arm which its fabric looked like it was chewed on by an animal. Not to bash animals but yeah. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were pretty soft. The parking lot is kind of small and the restaurant nearby seems to claim the majority of the spaces. Makes it a little awkward. They do have a managers reception in the evening. Not great quality, but they have one. The breakfast was disappointing, unless you like meat, grease, and eggs. They had no fruit, oatmeal, anything remotely healthy. Unfortunate. I'd probably look at another property if we were to stay in the area in the future. read more

My husband left his shoes in the room and as soon as we got to the airport we realized it. We called multiple times and were sent to the voicemail of the " lost and found coordinator ". When we never got a call back, I called the front desk and spoke to William who was incredibly rude about the issue, first he transferred me back the the voicemail mid sentence and then when I called back he hung up on me and stopped answering the phone. Completely flabbergasted, we called the Hilton Diamond line who offered us a paltry 5,000 points for the " disappointment." Sincerely, all we wanted was the shoes back and an apology for the disrespect. Instead, we got motivation to spend more nights at Marriott. read more

The cafeteria staff overseeing the complimentary breakfast is outstanding and starts your day out beautifully. The chefs are great. We want to single out Melinda who makes sure everything at your table is good, and makes you feel really cared for. She's a keeper! First let me start off by saying that this is listed as a 4 star hotel, but in no way is this a 4 star hotel. Maybe 20 years ago it was a 4 star hotel. Now it's like a 2 star hotel that's pretty rough around the edges, maybe it's a borderline 3 star on a good day. That aside, our experience was OK for the most part. We stayed for a day and didn't have any major issues. There's plenty of free parking available right out front. Check in was easy. Front desk was friendly and accommodating. The room itself was very sad and run down. We paid for the "Superior Suite" and there was alot of wear, damage and neglect inside. It clearly wasn't superior in any way. For example, the tub was rusty, the carpets were dusty and dirty, the air ducts were caked with dust and some of the furniture was damaged and stained. Also, the decor was dated and the amenities in the room looked like they were ancient. A 32" LCD TV inside a smelly, old and damaged entertainment center in 2024? Come on. Also, the walls are like paper thin. Our next door neighbors were yapping at 230am and I unfortunately heard the entire conversation, crystal clear. On the plus side, the bathroom was clean and it had fresh towels and decent, basic toiletries. The bed had clean sheets and good quality pillows so the essentials were covered. The free Wi-Fi was excellent, I tested it and got around 75 megs. They had a complimentary breakfast buffet which looked above average. We were trying to get custom made omelettes but the line was long and extremely slow so we decided to go out to eat. When we first lined up to get food, we put our stuff at a table which we planned to use after getting our food. When we returned, one of the staff members was removing our things and putting them on the bar. When I asked him why he said he wanted to open the table up for people to eat which I thought was insensitive and illogical. Obviously we left our stuff there because we were going to get food, it's the breakfast area. What were we supposed to do, hold a tray and drag our suitcases, jackets and personal items on line while we get eggs? All in all, I'm not sure that I'd stay here again. It was under $200 for a 1 bedroom suite which sounds good, but it was kind of gross and unsatisfying. I couldn't wait to get home, the sure sign of a substandard hotel. Overall, 2 stars, but could easily be 4 or more if they simply renovated these horribly outdated and neglected rooms. read more

While the room was very nice you can tell it is an older hotel. It is in a great location where I felt safe and close to many things. I love that they text you on arrival when you get in your room to ensure everything is okay. I absolutely love the fresh breakfast and the gym is amazing especially being that I work out every morning. I haven't been to the evening cocktail reception but they do have it. Never had any issues, this will be my go to hotel for when out of town for business. read more

It's under reconstruction. That's not the issue. What I'll be discussing is the size of the toilets. HOLY!!! They are made for the extreme dwarfism. I mean you gotta be a very small elf or someone under 3 years old. The smallest toilet in the world award goes to......Hilton Suites in Boca Raton. Good lord. No warning from the front desk when they see a guy 6'2 at the counter either. Buying your toilets from Baby Gap ain't it. This review could've been solely based on the first hour of my stay. Suffice to say, I've been to worse hotels, but not many and not at this price. My family arrived, waited patiently for about ten minutes for David at the front desk. The other person couldn't be bothered. Whatever, not the end of the world. David took ten minutes checking us in - normally a very fast process, but okay. My mother has her room, my wife, toddler, and me are in the other. They needed us to add the crib (again) which was on our reservation. Fine. He charged us. At the end of the ten minutes and immediately after having me sign for charges he explains "We can't produce room keys right now. You will have to wait." Uh, what? You couldn't have led with that? We could've NOT waited there. "But it should be soon." We asked how soon is soon, ten minutes or three hours? "Much less than 3 hours." 30 minutes later (after a vending machine ate $2), with my toddler echoing yells throughout the lobby, David came to offer to let us into our rooms himself. Guess he didn't like a screaming toddler. Neither did I. "But they put in a pack and play." Great. Toddler needs nap time. Takes us to our rooms. Every door we pass looks like they are falling apart. There is rust on most of the window sills. Whatever, the inside matters more. First room? "Oh this must not be right one. No pack and play let's check other one." Guess what? Not in second room either. "I will get them to send it up." Okay. Fine. We have been traveling. I just want to get settled. The door won't lock. The bathroom door won't close. The bedroom door won't close. The toilet is the right height for my toddler to use - which is not a benefit for adults. Fine. Whatever. Room service and just wait for room keys and enjoy our evening and deal with it tomorrow. No menu. No number. Hit the button on the phone? Busy. Guest services? Rings indefinitely. We had to call the restaurant separately and look up their menu online. We got our keys at roughly the five hour later mark. This place is pretty awful. Edit: I will add Jennifer was very nice and handled us leaving early very professionally. read more

Rooms definitely need an update, especially the bathrooms. Breakfast is fantastic. They have a chef that cooks to order - eggs, pancake, waffles, plus self service bacon, sausage, potatoes, etc. when traveling either kids or family this is a huge plus. Free cocktails every night. Pool also could use better upkeep. They don't do a good job cleaning up used towels or stuff falling in pool like leaves. I'd prob come back but would look for better pool and more updated rooms. read more

This hotel is in deplorable condition and shape. The rooms are disgustingly dirty and smelly. The furnishings are so old and the paint is chipped and totally worn. The furniture wood on the bedroom armoire is missing at the bottom of the unit. The walls are stained and dirty too. For almost $300 a night it is the most disgusting hotel I have ever been in. The A/C vent in the room is black! Gross! The manager stated that they will be starting renovations next month but that doesn't do anything for me! This is Boca Raton not some trashy area! The staff at this hotel has gone above and beyond for my mother, who is staying by herself for a bit. Amanda at the front desk and Paige have gone out of their way to make my mother feel safe and comfortable between a difficult move from one home to another, which isn't quite ready. As far as the hotel itself - it can really use a re-do. It is not dirty per-se, just musty, with old furnishings, painted walls, and carpeting that should be replaced. There is room service from 12-9 pm, which comes from City Fish next door, which is a plus. read more

A little old but really loved, this place was the best deal around. An open Atrium style hotel which has inside rooms facing a 7 story open atrium filled with light and water. When you look past the dusty artificial plants planted in the air planters around each floor you feel light watery open spaces. Our room is a small old school suite that is clean, well stocked and does the trick. The bed was comfy. Our room has a small balcony facing a very private man made lake with a water fountain giving a pleasant feeling. The cooked to order breakfast was the usual fair but with a chef behind the grill, a nice touch. They also have a happy hour each evening which sounds great. The staff has been most friendly! With all places being quite expensive and willing to enjoy a really nice old school setting, with a good, non beach location, right by the turn pike and a few good restaurants in walking distance... this is your place. Hilton Suites Boca Raton - View from the breakfast room - Hotels Near Me - Boca Raton, Florida

My husband and I booked this hotel for the long Thanksgiving weekend while we were in town to visit family. While it was a wonderful trip to see loved ones, I really wish we'd stayed somewhere else. We check in and get up to the 6th floor, and I'm surprised by how humid and hot it is outside our door. Then I realize the atrium is actually open to the outside. There's a glass roof, but the sides are completely open. Then you look closer and see that all of the "plants" on the sides are artificial, faded and covered in dust. Makes this feel more like a motel, to be honest. We get into our room, and it all looks rather dated. The whole place looks stuck in the 80s. As I'm putting things away, my husband kills what he initially tells me is a big ant by the wet bar. A couple of hours later, I saw what I thought was another large ant crawling on the nightstand next to the bed. I went to kill it, only to then realize it was actually a roach. I have a phobia of roaches, so I had my husband kill it. Then he told me that the "ant" from earlier was actually a roach and he didn't want to tell me. These were baby roaches, and you know what that means -- there are a lot more of them hiding. I decided that if we spotted one more, I wanted to switch rooms. The next day was Thanksgiving, and just as we were about to leave for the day, we spotted another one. We were running late to go to my dad's, but I said we were switching rooms when we got back that night. When we returned in the evening, a couple in front of us was also switching rooms, though I couldn't hear why. When it was our turn, I explained why I wanted a new room, and the gentleman at the front desk did not seem at all surprised at the mention of roaches. Since our room was one of their "Pur" allergy rooms, they didn't have another one, but I told him I just needed feather-free bedding. He called someone and told them to strip the bedding in the new room, but since he didn't say anything about putting new bedding in there for me, I told my husband we should probably just bring the feather-free blanket and pillows from our old room to our new room just in case. Sure enough, when we got to the new room, there was just a bed with a sheet. So we got a cart and brought our bedding down ourselves. Shouldn't have had to do that, but I just wanted a roach-free, feather-free room. On our second to last day, I remember saying, "well, at least we haven't had any roaches in this room." Except my husband later told me he had killed a roach in there just a few minutes before I'd said that. Oh, and the room they moved us to? The door was broken (see the photos). You had to put all your weight against it to get it to latch from the inside, and if you were leaving, you had to pull very hard to get it to shut completely -- otherwise your room would just be left unlocked and anyone would be able to walk in if they wanted. And the TV console had a huge crack in it as well -- just not a great impression all around that this place was well taken care of. We are Hilton Diamond members, mainly because put all of our wedding expenses on our Hilton Amex card, haha. But as Diamond members, you get some pretty great perks at various Hilton hotels. It's one of the reasons we chose THIS hotel in particular, versus the Hampton Inn, for instance, because we get a daily food and beverage credit at Hilton hotels but not at Hampton Inns. But when we checked in, the attendant at the front desk said, "We don't do food and beverage credits here." Instead, every guest gets their free breakfast and happy hour. Okay... I hate to sound elitist here, but you're telling me the only perk I get is you saying, "Thanks for being a Diamond member" then? This was a pretty big letdown -- but combine that with the roach infestation, and we won't be returning. The "made-to-order" breakfast is fine. The staff is friendly, but the food is not much better than the breakfast you get at a Hampton Inn, the difference being you can get omelettes here. And they're making the waffles for you behind the counter, versus you making them yourselves with the exact same waffle iron they have at a Hampton Inn. The biggest saving grace is their happy hour, where it's pretty much all you can drink from 5:30 to 7:30 with a super friendly bartender who has a very generous pour. It's entirely well liquor and no-name wine, so this is not costing them much at all, but the bartender is fantastic. And when the time was almost up, she poured two giant plastic cups full of wine for us (without us asking) and told us to take them back to our room, haha. Truthfully, she's the only reason this place is getting a second star. read more

I have never stayed at a Hilton like this. If it were a Motel 6, it would be satisfactory. If it were a Holiday Inn it would be substandard. But as a Hilton, the place is a dump. As soon as I entered the room I was struck by the damp, musty smell. When I opened the drawers in the bedroom to put my clothes in, the smell was even more damp and musty. And the TV in the bedroom was not working; and the maintenance staff said they could not replace it right away. The manager offered to change my room, but not until tomorrow. And (sadly) I am here for five days, and pre-paid. read more

We had a great time! The staff was very friendly but the room is outdated. The amount of extra space in the room (we had a separate living area w/ a sleeper sofa) makes up for it though! The evening cocktail reception is only 5-7:30 nightly so we didn't get to enjoy it. The complimentary breakfast is 7-11am on weekends but it doesn't have many options. They have chefs there to prepare pancakes or omelets as well as a few pastries and hot plates. Not the largest selection but it works ‍ We mainly stayed here for the location and room space! We didn't run into any problems with the room or service during our stay. We came for the eras tour at Hard Rock Stadium and it took us about 30 mins to get there and back with minor traffic! I felt like the area was safe and I'd stay here again for future events! read more

Great staff, horrible sales management as they overcharged me by $100 a night and will not refund the difference.

Originally built 1988 as Radisson Suites and refurbished under Hilton ownership, this attractive hotel is conveniently located next to a Turnpike interchange, and it's minutes away from great shopping and dining. Rates are reasonable compared to hotels in trendier areas. The 2-room suites are very spacious, and all the amenities you'd expect, e.g. free WiFi, cable TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, etc., are included in the cost. The public areas of the hotel, particularly the atrium, are quite splendid. In contrast, the guest rooms could use some updating. Their air conditioning systems need a revamp to lower the oppressive humidity and provide better air flow to the front rooms. The complimentary breakfast can range from dreadful to superb. Longtime employee Chef Louis deserves an award. Watching him cook yummy egg- and batter-based dishes to order will make your day. A master at multitasking, he is revered by frequent hotel guests and staff. On Louis' day off, though, a substitute chef was incapable of dealing with the long line. I gave up waiting after 25 minutes. Other buffet workers were lax in replenishing items and cleaning up. An accompanying photo shows the deplorable condition of the fruit and yogurt station. read more

My mother & I reserved a room months in advance as part of a wedding block and arrived a few hours before we had to leave for the wedding rehearsal dinner. Our room on the 4th floor was dilapidated. Cabinet doors & drawers did not close properly, carpet had worn out spots, pulls & stains, countertop was broken & glued back together, mold & stains in the bathroom & tub, hair left in the tub, & a refrigerator that did not cool. This room should be condemned. Luckily I received a text from Amanda at the front desk asking how our room was. I informed her of the deplorable conditions of the room. She let me know that no rooms had been renovated but she had 1 other for me to look at. The 2nd room was on the 6th floor & considered the Pure Wellness/Allergy Friendly Room. Amanda said this is an upgrade. The only upgrade I could see was the standalone HIPA Filter. With the lack of other options we accepted the outdated & worn 6th floor room. The 6th floor room was only slightly in better shape then the 4th floor room. Due to unavailability of staff & carts, we had to move our things out of the room ourselves. We had a lot of luggage as we just flew into Florida & were staying in Florida for a week. My elderly mother was not able to assist, which meant I wheeled luggage, carried luggage, & carried bags myself to our 6th floor room. In addition to this aggravation, the hotel only had 1 working elevator which was in full use at the height of check-in. While in the room, mom used the curtain rod to pull the curtain back only to have the wand lose a screw which flew off & hit her in the face. We called for maintenance & he was there within 10 minutes. The way he fixed it made it worse as the fix caused the wand to pull the top corner of the curtain down which kept it open to the hallway so anyone could look into our room. I moved the room chair to hold the curtain closed. With 5 minutes to spare we were able to grab a quick drink at happy hour. The lounge was nicely appointed. It was quiet would have been relaxing had we had more time to spend. The included breakfast offered made to order omelets which were good. The buffet had the same options that you'd find at a Hampton Inn. We looked at the pool around 10:40 am only to find about 4 guests using it. Yet, there were no clean towels. The clean towel shelves were bare & the dirty towels from the night before filled the bin to the top. The pool water & area looked clean. The rooms at the Hilton Boca Raton Suites are an embarrassment to the Hilton brand. I feel bad for the staff who have to work here knowing how deplorable room conditions are, yet they always maintained their composure and kept a friendly attitude. Will we be back? No! We will never stay at the Hilton Boca Raton Suites unless the rooms are all fully refurbished. read more

I stayed here a couple of nights, and will never return. The hotel has seen better days. As a Diamond member, I have stayed at many properties, and have been always greeted with a small bag of goodies upon check in, and usually a credit to be used at the bar or store. Not here. First: The staff is excellent! Very accommodating and friendly. No complaint there. Second: the hotel is at least 40 years old and it really shows!! The rooms are spacious but the furniture is worn out, tired and made for humans that are less than 5'10". Third: The bathroom vanity is so close to the floor that my 3 year old used it as a bench! Maybe it was built with women in mind since they tend to be shorter than men. Fourth: why no outlets for business people to work. Technically this hotel is not good for business travels. Fifth: noise noise noise noise. The road noise is so bad that you can't sleep. Plus, it's pet friendly so hearing dogs bark and roosters crowing is a little too much for me. Not a fan of "pet friendly" hotels because it's just stupid that dogs are in hotels and on planes. No logical reason for allowing. Sixth: breakfast was so so. The eggs are powdered from a milk carton so they are very Firm and like popcorn. The bacon was good. The milk was a nice warm temperature of 70, which sucks. But I digress. Seventh: The hotel is clean. The staff is great. Final assessment: would I stay here again? No. Would I recommend? Yes, but with caution. read more

I am giving a three because quite frankly the hotel rooms needs updating. My first suite room 540 (facing the parking lot) 1) had an obnoxious smell 2) was wet They tried to fix it but it was not possible. The night manager and staff are very polite and friendly but there were no more doubles and i didn't want a king suite as I would get stuck on a sofa twin ( Small) I was there for two nights for a wedding. The second night, they upgraded the room to a better view and smell. ( all pics are of room 618 , facing the water ) Breakfast was really good and plentiful. Pool was nice and warm. They have 2 hour free happy hour 5:30-7:30 every night. Drinks. I didn't go but its a good chance to save money on alcohol and chat. Again the first night room was just gross. They need to either figure out the humidity in the room or redo them. They have a bit of smell. The staff, pool and breakfast were the saving grace. All pics are of the nicer room. Would i stay here again? Probably not until the smell or remodel Paid wedding discount rate of $109 a day for two days , came to $246. read more
