My friend flew in from denver to flyboard for my birthday gift...they booked us, took our credit card information, and told us they'd be in touch 24 hours before to confirm details. We had to follow up ourselves and they were no where to be found. We were completely ghosted. Called a trillion times. Happy birthday to me. read more

UNFORTUNATELY, this company seems to care more about getting your money than your experience. They are extremely uptight with their ridiculous rules and have HORRIBLE customer service. I bought a session for myself and my husband for his birthday. We are on a budget and found a great deal. I revolved my plans around this experience. From the get go I did not feel comfortable with the customer service (after purchasing the tickets with no refund available). So I went through regardless of my instincts. The morning of (I had a 9am) was way colder for comfort and my husband was getting over a cold. The weather prior to reserving the tickets was HOTTT. I had no idea a cold front was coming. Regardless, I called an hour before to ask for rescheduling and left a voicemail. Once I spoke with the distant man over the phone, he was very rude and gave me no mercy. He tried to make me feel bad that I had his instructor waiting for us the entire time....they had my money already. Again no customer service. any way, there's even more to the story. Basically they took my money and didn't give a fuck what happened afterwards. Now I have no gift for my husband and a shitty story to give on his birthday. THANKS FLYBOARD NORTH TEXAS! Do not use this company they will take your money and not show up you will call them over and over and they will not answer. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY after finally talking to the rep for this company he had all kinds of reasons of why his instructor did not show up did not call and left us standing in the sun waiting for NOTHING!!!!! I asked him to send me an Email stating that they would refund be refunding the money and his response was he had no way of emailing me that, REALY he got my Phone number on where to call me from my email to him. I appear to be in the same boat as everyone else. Bought a session as a present through giltcity.com, then scheduled a 9:00am session the following Saturday morning. After 10:30pm the Friday night before, they sent a text "confirming" our 12:30pm session, and then didn't answer their phone or reply to texts that evening or the next day. I called and left messages for a week without once getting an answer or a call back. I complained to giltcity.com, who sold the voucher. They said that they were investigating and that I would be getting a call from Flyboard, and I never did. When I called them concerning their investigation, they refused a refund, as they said Flyboard (who has still never called me back) claimed we were no shows and never rescheduled, so they were refusing a refund. I technically still have two weeks to redeem the session but after 12 unreturned voicemails in a month, I don't really see that happening. And I am unable to confront them, as their number is a Googlevoice line that they don't answer, and they're "locations" appear to be rental places on the lakes that they have an agreement with. I'd say I hate this business, but calling them a business unfairly legitimizes their practices. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!! My girlfriend had purchased (2) 1-hour sessions as a birthday present for me back in September of 2013 ($400), which was unfortunately too close to the end of their "season". I was not able to schedule the following season, but was assured by whoever answered the phone that the purchases do not expire and I would be able to schedule a session the following season. Here it is, 2015, and I have been spending the past 3 months trying to schedule a session. The first time I called, I was told that they could only look up purchases made in 2015, but that the manager would be able to verify all purchases made in the past in just a few minutes, but he was currently out of the country. The guy I spoke with said he would return to the country within a few days, and be able to verify my purchase and schedule a session. A week went by and I received no call. I called back and was told that he still had not returned to the country, but that they would schedule me for Sept. 20th, and have him call me in the next few days to verify the purchase once he returned to the country. I asked who I was speaking to, and with hesitation, I was told "Joe". I asked who the manager was that is out of town and was told "Alexander" (again with hesitation) Another week went by and I called back to inform them that I had still not received a call, and wanted to make sure this was taken care of before Sept. 20th rolled around. I was then told by "Joe" again (claimed he had not spoken to me previously) that the manager returned to the country, but only for a few hours, and had to leave the country again. I was also told that I was NOT scheduled for Sept. 20th , and that the manager would have to verify my purchase to schedule any sessions. I informed "Joe" that I needed SOMEONE to call me back, as this was getting ridiculous. I called back in another 2 days, and they BLOCKED MY NUMBER. I call from my cell phone and get the "this number has been disconnected, or is no longer in service" message. I tried from my work line, and got ahold of "Joe" again. I figured the "number has been disconnected" message may have been an error of some sort. I was again told that the manager had not returned to the country yet, and that their season ended on Sept. 27th, and that they had no 1-hour slots left. I made it clear that I needed this manager to call me back, and that today's day in age, there is no reason he should not be able to contact me from outside the country to get this matter resolved. Keep in mind that my email vouchers have "confirmation numbers" that should serve SOME purpose of being able to verify the purchases, but was told that they do not. I was told he would see what he could do and that he would get back to me. Funny thing is, I had to ask him if he had my number from previous notes to call me back on, and low and behold, he did NOT! I called a few times over the next couple of days and left messages, as this was beyond ridiculous at this point. I never received a call back. Today, I called back to back from my work number (cell phone still received the "disconnected or no longer in service" message) to try and get SOMEONE to give me an explanation. I kept getting the flyboard voicemail, until something glitched and sent me to the actual phone number that the Flyboard number was being forwarded to. I wrote it down just in case I needed it. I kept trying the Flyboard number and had the same glitch occur a couple more times and getting the exact same alternate number. THEY THEN BLOCKED MY WORK NUMBER FROM CALLING THE FLYBOARD NUMBER! I was receiving the same "disconnected number" message! I then started calling the alternate number that I received from the glitch, which shows to be in Laredo, TX. No answer. It would ring a time or two and then go to voicemail. I had my friend call this number and someone answered. Wanna guess who it sounded like? "JOE".... I said I have been trying to schedule a session, and was told I have the wrong number. I asked who I was speaking to, and was just told I have the wrong number. I asked what number I accidentally dialed, and was hung up on. Didn't get any more answers out of that. The Flyboard number is still "disconnected" according to my cell phone and work phone, but works fine when trying it from other numbers. LOOK UP REVIEWS ON THESE SCAM ARTISTS! Many people that have the same problem getting calls back, and being rudely told that they cannot get a refund for equipment breaking down, or instructors no-showing. GOOGLE IT! You can find other negative reviews that follow this same pattern of HORRIBLE customer service, and no refunds. I have the vouchers as proof, and can provide, just to show that I am not some "alternate competing flyboard company" trying to rub their name in the dirt and get business.
