I can't tell you anything about the inside of the establishment but I what I can tell you is that this one place has a bunch of heart based on the food! The catfish was phenomenal and fresh, the beans had a ton of flavor and chunks of turkey neck inside of it, I could tell the Cole slaw and tartar sauce was made in house but if it is not I need a container of each asap, I also can't forget about the hush puppies, most of the time I look over them but given everything else I couldn't miss out and they did not disappoint crunchy and flakey on the outside and moist and succulent on the inside. We also got the "bobcat egg" chicken stuffed with jalapeños, cream cheese wrapped in bacon .. it was AMAZING!! They also had chicken on a stick wrapped in bacon and it was nothing short of everything else!! When I tell you I couldn't write this review quick enough I mean I am still licking the flavor off my teeth it was sensational!! You will not be disappointed i promise!! I can't wait to come back and try some deserts!! 10/10 well done Tabs, a hidden gem!!

Meh... I've definitely had better, though it wasn't the worst I've ever tasted. What really…read moredampened the experience was the price. I ordered a scoop of their espresso gelato, but the portion was so small it looked more like a child-sized sample than a proper scoop. Then, for an additional charge, I received a drizzle of flavorless chocolate sauce. When I asked for cookie crumbles, I was charged another $1.00 and given what amounted to about a quarter of an Oreo cookie. I'm not exaggerating. I'm a small person, so I know what a modest portion looks like--but this was tiny, even by my standards. It felt more appropriate for a 5-year-old than a paying customer. What frustrates me most is when "specialty" shops charge premium prices for products that don't feel special at all. The only thing that seemed exceptional here was the inflated cost. In all honesty, I would have enjoyed a Peanut Buster Parfait from Dairy Queen far more.

The two baristas on duty did an awesome Job and the customer service was amazing! We will definitely go again if we are ever in the area!

Every single piece was absolutely divine--beautifully crafted, incredibly fresh, and each one somehow better than the last. As someone who needs gluten-free options, I was thrilled to find they offer many gluten-free chocolates, and they were every bit as delicious as the rest. That's not always easy to find. The quality, flavor, and attention to detail are exceptional. If I lived anywhere near Hochatown, I would be a regular customer without question. My absolute favorite thing in the store was the selection of hats -- especially the hilarious animal hats with ears that pop up and down when you squeeze the dangling paws. They were adorable little girls hats. I was thankful for my great-nephews because if I had great-nieces, we would have spent way more money in this store than intended LOL. Beyond the hats, they had a little bit of everything: old-school candy, toys, snacks, sandwiches, souvenirs, and Blue Bell Ice Cream. It definitely has that classic small-town variety store feel that's becoming harder and harder to find. One of our Arkansas family members treated us to ice cream, and mine was delicious. I went with strawberry in a waffle cone while my daughter chose cherry vanilla. One thing I found both funny and interesting -- all the cone options were the same price. The larger waffle cone cost the same as the smaller sugar cone, which means...obviously go big if you can because you can fit way more ice cream in it for the same cost. Cute little stop with personality, nostalgia, and some genuinely unique finds.
